it still doesnt REALLY explain why a Higher Reality or Ultimate Intelligence or Supreme Consciousness or whatever we label It as would create so so much suffering. The ends don't justify the means. I'm struggling with this question for years upon years now, but I guess I'm learning to accept that perhaps not all the answers are available to us here in this realm & this embodiment. At the very least, its teaching me to be patient & have faith.
Thank you Rabbi Simon. I am not Jewish, yet I am so grateful to have discovered your channel. Your teachings illuminate and create understanding of concepts that sometimes feel out of reach. Thank you for the work you do and for the light you shine. Many blessings.
I asked why is there somuch pain. I forced this thought a whole day. I stopped for a break and was told with a loud emphatic voice ' Because you wanted to it alone'! Well that statement made me question my view point. Our perspective or Gods perspective. In the beginning we were connected to God on a higher energy level. Humans were a level of awareness that could be given information to think about. Concepts. Ideas could be investigated and tried out. Like daydreaming about ideas in our own mind. The thoughts flow through the mind in all shapes and manors. You go through all scenarios possible. No harm occurs as the thought is just seperated thought energy that forms and dissipates. Imagine millions of minds thinking about one concept everyway possible. Each mind has aquired memory so sees things differently from another. The true picture of a concept seen multidimensionally can only be seen from above after all the information has been collected and placed in its correct position. We here were the thought that was projected outwardly to enact scenarios to gather evidence and outcomes. This information was stored in a sea of thought memory and processed by Adam and Eve. The results were stored and used to investigate further concepts. The larger mind of Adam which was supported by the higher awarness of Eve, worked and cultivated the garden or mind of creation. God introduced a greater awareness of self to encourage growth. The mind could own the information within it as if they thought of it. Eve eats the concept of self thought and God connected thought. The self based thought wraps around the lower level of awareness and creates its own thought. The Godly thought is pulled down but faces Gods creation. The other side faces inwardly, away from God's light. The thoughts that are within the now enclosed area, also take on their own identity. These thoughts had built a complex of thought connections that reflected their own image. They take information from the sea and believe it to be reality. They investigate themselves and find their own truths. God surrounds the upper layer of Eve and baths the world in energy. The soul connects to the thoughts generated on Earth. The Earthly thought dissipates because it is not directed thought from God. Its bodily form seems to die. The soul then returns to God and its information is assimilated into heaven. This keeps the process of creation alive. The soul can open and grow and deliver higher thought to the bodies mind. This is like a messanger leaving clues to its minds true reality. If the message is repeated enough in different ways it will be accepted as a whole. This would then allow all thought generated on Earth to connect to the higher awarness that recieves Gods light rather than the minds own light. The world then reflects images of Heaven which we accept as truth. The two thoughts of Eve reunite into one working concept within God's creation. This concept is seen in Jacob and Laban. Jacob takes awareness down to the lower level where it meets thought energy. It is neutral and reflects Jacobs character. In the previous marriage, gold was given. This represents cultivated work which laban recieves and accepts. Jacob gives his collected thought to Laban on his arrival and it is used by Laban. Laban took and held onto what Jacob had stolen and held onto. This produces sheep that are simply alive and act as a battery of life or sheep that start to aquire ideas in the form of spots etc. Jacob starts to make his own thought which is independent of others. The sheep represent his collected thought that he manages. When he does this he is told by God to go home. He takes awareness back up towards God. So the soul looks up and the mind looks down. Creation of thought manifests here so that we learn. Higher up it is mearly conceptual thought with probable outcomes that God tries to manipulate through our freedom of choice to look up or down before manifesting thought of self or others. So the 10 commandments say do not think for yourself but with the love of God. What do you think. I hope I did not condence to much.
@@PerpetualPreponderer Before the fall, energy flowed evenly through out the emerging concousness. After the fall the energy gets pulled into areas of knowledge. Leaders are assigned to control the energy for the thought connections that surround it. Thats us. We give allegiance to towns, nations etc. We uphold belief structures. The leaders then used this thought energy to support their individual purpose. We then act like sheep under the control of a shepherd. Enslaved. So Moses takes the flock into the desert so that they are trained to think with God.

Wow. First time listening to Rabbi S.J. - I am not religious but I am spiritual and every word resonated with me. I have pondered such questions the last 15 yrs and have come to the same conclusion via a very different path. I did not expect to be in full agreement with the Rabbi, but I have great respect for him and his clarity in expressing these concepts. As of this year I have realised we are all interconnected and parts of the Source. All the very best to all you good people.

Beautiful lesson! Thank you very much. We can all accomplish the goal of making our corner of the word more beautiful. Babies do this easily and unwittingly. Their smiles and laughter light up the room. They stir up a sense of peace, and joy, and reverence for life without speaking a word-just by their presence. So we can certainly do it with whatever resources we have at hand. A smile, a phone call, or just being present with someone. Every day is an opportunity to share what you have been given by God.
Of all your lectures which have taught me ideas, this is the most useful and powerfull. It will help me unravel a problem that I have had in dialogues with my grandson over a complex issue
I think you have an energy that is kind, good and wise. I don't know how to use those skills when life is an endless battle. To be in a constant state of defense makes it impossible to be calm. I hope I can reach this state of which you speak, I've been trying all my life. Thank you for your videos, they are wonderful.
Accept the constant battle , have no opinion about anything and then you will not judge anything, hence you are able to accept anything as , it is what it is , just BE YOU , nothing else and you must LOVE you
Well said Rabbi Simon. I would add, that the question for the purpose of life or why are we here, has something to do with a free flow of Love. Love for our children, others, love of nature, beauty, wisdom, the World, God; whatever it may be. Expressing love and releasing its flow, just as you were unblocking flow of rain water it is a purpose that resonated with me.
To me your answer is just as many others: you have no idea why we are here and simply use love as a feeling and philosophy to substitute your lack of understanding and our true purpose instead of admitting: We - human beings DO NOT currently know why we are here and with high possibility MIGHT NEVER know or UNDERSTAND why we are here !
I share this message of WHY everyday in my Communication classes, where increasingly I seem like a dinosaur to some…. BUT MOST drink as if they are so very thirsty and ultimately grateful for the HOPE of WHY! They just need a sincere seed planted! ❤🙏🏿

Here is a piece of wisdom that resonates with me deeply. I am passionate about serving others and aspire to lead a life that authentically reflects my inner essence. I firmly believe in the power of setting positive examples and fostering meaningful connections, particularly in the context of a profound relationship with the divine.
Thank you Rabbi, this was a great video on a subject that needs to be revisited often. I believe that God created us to ask why and seek meaning in our lives, but we get very sidetracked by fear and avoidance. And clogged sewers! I really love this analogy. Life is a struggle for everyone and we need a solid foundation, just as you have said. Sometimes, or maybe regularly, our foundations get washed away (through loss and change) and we have to build it again. Each time we have the opportunity to build it back better, to live life with meaningful purpose. To me that means God centered; if I wander away from God, I am lost and sad. But keeping God centered, keeps me focused on purpose, kindness, gratitude, and the fight for goodness in the world. I'm a subscriber now and I look forward to listening to you again Rabbi!
Why, you are a marvellous communicator, I love you for this, how powerful to commit to our love for the purpose of our being, our joy, our connections. I thank you for the light and love you shed♥️🙏👍😊

I just like you already and this is my first time watching you and listening. I can tell you are a good man with a message I can learn from. I thank you. Shalom
It is a beautiful approach to give an analogy as a gardener to nurture the garden 🪴. Life involves constant mobility. Don’t be a coach potato 🥔. The “What” is our building we build, but the “Why” is the foundation behind our visible “What”. I also enjoyed the quirky habit of walking to the drainage along the street during the rain in your childhood. I recalled my quirky habit of stepping on the dried leaves’ piles accumulated by wind and listening to the sound of it during the deep fall season, just satisfying, can’t tell why. As a matter of fact, this habit developed since childhood stick s with me to this day - stepping on the dry leaves and listening. Thank you Rabbi Simon Jacobson for teaching today! 🙏❤️
Focusing on 'why am I here'. It's nothing deep or profound. It's just to add beauty to our corner of the world. ----- Brain's electrical impulses on this matter have been reawakened and recognized. Much appreciated, thank you. ----- Peace, love, and kindness for everyone everywhere. Always...

You are one of the wisest person I have had the privilege to listen to, had I heard this particular talk a few months ago I would not be in the difficult position I am in today, nevertheless having listened to you today that vital 'why 'will remain with me.And hopefully help me through my present dilemma.
True teachers use themselves as bridges over which they invite their students to cross; then, having facilitated their crossing, joyfully collapse, encouraging them to create bridges of their own. Thank you for all that you do.
Your words brought to memory a concept that I had been taught. The purpose, the why, of being a servant is what I hadn’t thought consciously of in years. I think I have mostly acted consistent with this purpose but more out of habit than intention. I can see that it is better to be more conscious of your why, for it will enable or bring stronger convictions and clearer intensions, and greater contentment and fulfillment.
In the beginning, we are created to rule over God's other creations. When the Living Word dwell among us, we become of higher purpose. The Son of Man taught us to follow His steps so we can offer a purposeful, meaningful life to God. That in the end, our souls can dwell in the Light of God forever.

It's an honour to hear you speak.
Thanks for reminding us that if we don't fulfill our unique mission, life will be worse off because it was not done.
Thank you Rabbi, what a logical and simple way of explaining why we are here .If only people are inculcated into this way of life lesson
this world will be a heaven and life will be so joyful and contented. Thank you Rabbi you are a genuine human being and God’s messenger
My soul has always known why I am here. You confirmed it. My mind has tried to deny it due to my conditioning, which created much dis-ease, physically, emotionally, spiritually. Every day is an opportunity to grow. I am grateful for your teachings. Thank you Rabbi. 🙌🏻✨
Catholic subscriber here! Love your wisdom and insight. I too found pleasure unblocking the storm drains too as a kid. That gave me a chuckle 😅
You’re such a pleasure listening to. I’m not Jewish, and I’m not a believer either, but I’ve received comfort and healing from you. Thank you.
Same and agreed!
Not to believe is a belief, so madam please don’t say that you don’t believe, at least you believe in you that’s why you could say that.
@@esotericpilgrim548 Let me clarify. I do not subscribe to any organized faith. Yes, I do believe the sun rises, believe babies smile, believe we all shall die one day. But I don’t buy any of the man-made nonsense.

It’s ok Madam, I am sorry if I hurt your feelings, forgive me please.
@@esotericpilgrim548 I have no feelings. I am cold to you.
So well said brother. We as individuals can't change the world, but we can make the world a lot less terrible for the person standing in front of us.
And for all those factory farmed animals
@@Zar2244 the why of their existence is that we must eat and eating plants won't feed us properly. That's our why.
When the student is ready, the teacher appears.
Thank you for the video. It's just what I needed :)
As a practitioner of Buddhism, I agree that the essence of the message transcends cultural language. Quite enjoyed listening to you. 🙏
It's always wonderful to hear your wide range of knowledge that you use, not for ego or control, but for unity of thought, standard of virtue and principal. Thank you. I am a member of the Baha'i Faith.
Hello, I am not Jewish but Your message resonates with my view of life. Very deep concepts discussed with simple words, beautifully expressed. You certainly make the world a more beautiful place, thank you.
Hola Cecilia! Can you speak Spanish! I would love to have a friend that also likes Jewish teachings! Gracias
That's why this is a great speech and that's why I want to make my garden beautiful.
It's an honor to be able to listen to you! Thank you, again!
Loved the analogy of the garden being so much more beautiful with diversity of growth.
This is a truly outstanding job...your mission is extremely noble
Hi Rabbi Simon. Thanks for your thoughts. I enjoy your messages, and your gentle voice. Peace and love ❤
Listening to you always brings me such joy and I always find myself smiling like a crazy person. Thank you for sharing your gifts so freely; you literally represent exactly what you just talked about. Thank you.
The Rabbi everyone didn't know they needed. Practical and deep. Thank you.
Brilliant Rabbi Jacobson
The what is our drive to do good
And the why makes us feel good
Thank You 💙
Listening to you gave me a better perspective on life and I really needed it. I feel like I made a list of questions, I sent it to the Universe and I got all the replies that I waited for so long through you right now. Thank you for the seeds!
Dear Rubee we are in civil war in Ethiopia , but my hope rejuvenate whenever I heared your splendid and bright golden message.
You are a blessing in my life. I really look forward to listening to your wisdom. You help me feel better.
Thank you dear Rabbi for helping me to re-claim my Why and restore my mission to beautify the corner of my world. Blessings to you! 🤗
Rabbi you’re such a blessing your teachings are so simplistic with profound wisdom Shalom !!!!
Shine your beautiful light 🕊️ ✨🌟✨
Of all your lectures which have taught me ideas, this is the most useful and powerfull. It will help me unravel a problem that I have had in dialogues with my grandson over a complex issue
I Love to hear your voice! It Makes My Life Fun!
I think you have an energy that is kind, good and wise. I don't know how to use those skills when life is an endless battle. To be in a constant state of defense makes it impossible to be calm. I hope I can reach this state of which you speak, I've been trying all my life. Thank you for your videos, they are wonderful.
I think the key is to stop trying for a second and start allowing 😊
Accept the constant battle , have no opinion about anything and then you will not judge anything, hence you are able to accept anything as , it is what it is , just BE YOU , nothing else and you must LOVE you
Well said Rabbi Simon. I would add, that the question for the purpose of life or why are we here, has something to do with a free flow of Love. Love for our children, others, love of nature, beauty, wisdom, the World, God; whatever it may be. Expressing love and releasing its flow, just as you were unblocking flow of rain water it is a purpose that resonated with me.
Love for the forgotten animals that people eat too, let's not forget them
To me your answer is just as many others: you have no idea why we are here and simply use love as a feeling and philosophy to substitute your lack of understanding and our true purpose instead of admitting:
We - human beings DO NOT currently know why we are here and with high possibility MIGHT NEVER know or UNDERSTAND why we are here !
Thank you. I am listening to you even though I am not Jewish.
Wow! What a new revelation for my soul! Thank you Rabbi! God Bless you!
ברוך ה'!
הבנה כל כך משמעותית! תודה!
כל כך פשוט ומודע.
I share this message of WHY everyday in my Communication classes, where increasingly I seem like a dinosaur to some…. BUT MOST drink as if they are so very thirsty and ultimately grateful for the HOPE of WHY! They just need a sincere seed planted! ❤🙏🏿
I just discovered your channel and I’m blown away because you explain complex topics that really resonate with me.
Bless you sir. You are a true light in our world. Thank you. :-)
Thank you for this message. I really needed to hear this this morning. Have a beautiful day! 🌞
In class I remember : WHO , WHAT, WHEN , WHERE, WHY , and HOW. The why is redefining the order for sure . THANK-YOU.
Hello just discovered your channel this night a few hours ago glad to see you uploading more content I'm not jewish yet love your teachings I'm 18 and love to study I like to study all kind of mysticism such as alchemy, hermetics, jewish mysticism and Christian mysticism I pray for you and everyone else watching God is ayin nothing he is beyond everything
Have you tried Plato ? Aristotle ?
Is that what God told you? That "God is saying nothing he is beyond everything"?
What I'm getting is we have to serve.
Why I'm getting it is because that's our purpose.
Thank you Rabbi Jacobson. I'm so thankful i found this channel. Just watched a previous podcast. (Video..Vaccine Against Stress) the information was extremely important to me. I was in tears, tears of relief , for answers to my dilemma. My prayers are being answered. 🙏🌿(help is on the way!)
Here is a piece of wisdom that resonates with me deeply. I am passionate about serving others and aspire to lead a life that authentically reflects my inner essence. I firmly believe in the power of setting positive examples and fostering meaningful connections, particularly in the context of a profound relationship with the divine.
I feel this do much. ❤ 🙏🏾Thanks for sharing. 🙌🏾
Thank you Rabbi Jacobson✡️🙏♥️🔥
Wish you and everybody a positive and beautiful week!!
💪🙂✌️
Thank you so much Rabbi Simon! Your words and the way you convey them are so inspirational! You speak Truth, and that resonates with all human beings (religious or not) . A beautiful message I shall share and keep in mind every day. Thank you!
Personally, I believe I'm here to love and appreciate everything TMH GREAT SPIRIT has, is, and will do... I'm here to say HalALuYaHUaH as much as possible and raising my child to do the same!!
Much love and appreciation Rabbi
TMH favor your days
I needed exactly this exactly now. Very grateful for this talk.

"The building is the what, the foundation is the why", that is so great! Thank you!
Hi Rabbi. I choose to adopt you as my Rabbi. I live in a town with no Rabbi. I moved here over 30 years ago and have not been in touch with the Rabbi I grew up with. I like how you express yourself and will continue to follow you. Not to worry I won't be asking you a bunch of theology questions.
We are here to grow more spiritual for God and for our souls!
Focusing on 'why am I here'.
It's nothing deep or profound.
It's just to add beauty to our corner of the world.
-----
Brain's electrical impulses on this matter have been reawakened and recognized.
Much appreciated, thank you.

Peace, love, and kindness for everyone everywhere.
Always...
This is one of your greatest ones. One of your best presentations The detail yet simplicity in explaining the importance of stopping and thanking the Creator for giving your soul back in the morning and to thank Him for everything else He give you

Thank you, Rabbi. Your channel is an enormous blessing, and your wisdom is invaluable.
Thank you Rabbi. I think you express the big truths about life in beautifully simple ways. We can all be better gardeners 🍀☀️
Thank you very much Rabbi!!! I has been in a mourning -mode- feeling lost in madatory life transitions - becoming retired , motherless… un employed … feeling that i do not have nothing to live for …No body is even asking if i am alive….Thank you ! Listening your class fills my heart with some urgent to take action to renew my asigment with life and God ! Gracias!🙅♀️
We are here to help elevate consciousness to a level where God is revealed to the world. Through the way we live our lives, people should be able experience Prime Creator. We are here to elevate existence to the highest level of God consciousness.
I am a Muslim by birth & a sufi by practice & approach, believe me I learned a lot indeed from this Rabbai Mr. Simon. He and Rabbai fried man are gem 💎 of a men, their teaching are such profound which are very rare these days.May God bless them long life and good health. With lots & lots of love for all creations of God from a sufi student from India 🙏 wish a pleasant 2023 for all.
I try to live a purpose driven life. This explanation of why we're here, allows me to put my purpose in alignment with my perspectives or my why. Thank you for this message.
Why does this just make sense?!
I’m a Christian who’s 22 years old and I understand everything you’re saying. Something about it just makes sense.
THANK YOU! 🤍🤍🤍
❤❤❤😊😊
You are one of the wisest person I have had the privilege to listen to, had I heard this particular talk a few months ago I would not be in the difficult position I am in today, nevertheless having listened to you today that vital 'why 'will remain with me.And hopefully help me through my present dilemma.
True teachers use themselves as bridges over which they invite their students to cross; then, having facilitated their crossing, joyfully collapse, encouraging them to create bridges of their own. Thank you for all that you do.
Very powerful rabbi,thank you!👍🌞
To enjoy life & serve God JHVH IN JESUS CHRIST NAME & help others too📚 3 pillars
Thank you respectful Rabbi! Always inspirational!
"החיים שלנו מעוצבים על ידי הבחירות שלנו. ראשית אנו עושים את הבחירות שלנו. ואז הבחירות שלנו גורמות לנו
Blessings to the Rabbi
Thankful for the wealth of our Creator to share with everyone ❤️ the wholesome love to heal the wounds.
What an amazing talk!! Thank you for sharing your wisdom.
In the beginning, we are created to rule over God's other creations. When the Living Word dwell among us, we become of higher purpose. The Son of Man taught us to follow His steps so we can offer a purposeful, meaningful life to God. That in the end, our souls can dwell in the Light of God forever.
