it still doesnt REALLY explain why a Higher Reality or Ultimate Intelligence or Supreme Consciousness or whatever we label It as would create so so much suffering. The ends don't justify the means. I'm struggling with this question for years upon years now, but I guess I'm learning to accept that perhaps not all the answers are available to us here in this realm & this embodiment. At the very least, its teaching me to be patient & have faith.

I asked why is there somuch pain. I forced this thought a whole day. I stopped for a break and was told with a loud emphatic voice ' Because you wanted to it alone'!
Well that statement made me question my view point. Our perspective or Gods perspective.
In the beginning we were connected to God on a higher energy level. Humans were a level of awareness that could be given information to think about. Concepts. Ideas could be investigated and tried out. Like daydreaming about ideas in our own mind. The thoughts flow through the mind in all shapes and manors. You go through all scenarios possible. No harm occurs as the thought is just seperated thought energy that forms and dissipates. Imagine millions of minds thinking about one concept everyway possible. Each mind has aquired memory so sees things differently from another. The true picture of a concept seen multidimensionally can only be seen from above after all the information has been collected and placed in its correct position. We here were the thought that was projected outwardly to enact scenarios to gather evidence and outcomes. This information was stored in a sea of thought memory and processed by Adam and Eve. The results were stored and used to investigate further concepts. The larger mind of Adam which was supported by the higher awarness of Eve, worked and cultivated the garden or mind of creation. God introduced a greater awareness of self to encourage growth. The mind could own the information within it as if they thought of it. Eve eats the concept of self thought and God connected thought. The self based thought wraps around the lower level of awareness and creates its own thought. The Godly thought is pulled down but faces Gods creation. The other side faces inwardly, away from God's light. The thoughts that are within the now enclosed area, also take on their own identity. These thoughts had built a complex of thought connections that reflected their own image. They take information from the sea and believe it to be reality. They investigate themselves and find their own truths. God surrounds the upper layer of Eve and baths the world in energy. The soul connects to the thoughts generated on Earth. The Earthly thought dissipates because it is not directed thought from God. Its bodily form seems to die. The soul then returns to God and its information is assimilated into heaven. This keeps the process of creation alive. The soul can open and grow and deliver higher thought to the bodies mind. This is like a messanger leaving clues to its minds true reality. If the message is repeated enough in different ways it will be accepted as a whole. This would then allow all thought generated on Earth to connect to the higher awarness that recieves Gods light rather than the minds own light.
The world then reflects images of Heaven which we accept as truth.
The two thoughts of Eve reunite into one working concept within God's creation. This concept is seen in Jacob and Laban. Jacob takes awareness down to the lower level where it meets thought energy. It is neutral and reflects Jacobs character. In the previous marriage, gold was given. This represents cultivated work which laban recieves and accepts. Jacob gives his collected thought to Laban on his arrival and it is used by Laban. Laban took and held onto what Jacob had stolen and held onto. This produces sheep that are simply alive and act as a battery of life or sheep that start to aquire ideas in the form of spots etc. Jacob starts to make his own thought which is independent of others. The sheep represent his collected thought that he manages. When he does this he is told by God to go home. He takes awareness back up towards God.
So the soul looks up and the mind looks down. Creation of thought manifests here so that we learn. Higher up it is mearly conceptual thought with probable outcomes that God tries to manipulate through our freedom of choice to look up or down before manifesting thought of self or others. So the 10 commandments say do not think for yourself but with the love of God.
What do you think. I hope I did not condence to much.

@@PerpetualPreponderer Before the fall, energy flowed evenly through out the emerging concousness. After the fall the energy gets pulled into areas of knowledge. Leaders are assigned to control the energy for the thought connections that surround it. Thats us. We give allegiance to towns, nations etc. We uphold belief structures. The leaders then used this thought energy to support their individual purpose. We then act like sheep under the control of a shepherd. Enslaved. So Moses takes the flock into the desert so that they are trained to think with God.

Great! At least you realized it. Almost 80% of humanity lives not their own lives, they live on programs, which were installed in them by their parents, teachers and society. Love yourself, respect yourself, live for yourself. And it is not an egoistic way, because if you are really a good person you never will do something bad for others and you help them, but live your life. Just imagine, how you want to live. What dreams and goals do you have. What did you like earlier but never tried. You can do it. Nobody can stop you. It is your life. Have fun!

Thank you Rabbi, this was a great video on a subject that needs to be revisited often. I believe that God created us to ask why and seek meaning in our lives, but we get very sidetracked by fear and avoidance. And clogged sewers! I really love this analogy. Life is a struggle for everyone and we need a solid foundation, just as you have said. Sometimes, or maybe regularly, our foundations get washed away (through loss and change) and we have to build it again. Each time we have the opportunity to build it back better, to live life with meaningful purpose. To me that means God centered; if I wander away from God, I am lost and sad. But keeping God centered, keeps me focused on purpose, kindness, gratitude, and the fight for goodness in the world. I'm a subscriber now and I look forward to listening to you again Rabbi!

Hi Rabbi. I choose to adopt you as my Rabbi. I live in a town with no Rabbi. I moved here over 30 years ago and have not been in touch with the Rabbi I grew up with. I like how you express yourself and will continue to follow you. Not to worry I won't be asking you a bunch of theology questions. I just like you already and this is my first time watching you and listening. I can tell you are a good man with a message I can learn from. I thank you. Shalom

It is a beautiful approach to give an analogy as a gardener to nurture the garden 🪴. Life involves constant mobility. Don’t be a coach potato 🥔. The “What” is our building we build, but the “Why” is the foundation behind our visible “What”. I also enjoyed the quirky habit of walking to the drainage along the street during the rain in your childhood. I recalled my quirky habit of stepping on the dried leaves’ piles accumulated by wind and listening to the sound of it during the deep fall season, just satisfying, can’t tell why. As a matter of fact, this habit developed since childhood stick s with me to this day - stepping on the dry leaves and listening. Thank you Rabbi Simon Jacobson for teaching today! 🙏❤️

Focusing on 'why am I here'.
    It's nothing deep or profound.
It's just to add beauty to our corner of the world.

Your words brought to memory a concept that I had been taught. The purpose, the why, of being a servant is what I hadn’t thought consciously of in years. I think I have mostly acted consistent with this purpose but more out of habit than intention. I can see that it is better to be more conscious of your why, for it will enable or bring stronger convictions and clearer intensions, and greater contentment and fulfillment.

In the beginning, we are created to rule over God's other creations. When the Living Word dwell among us, we become of higher purpose. The Son of Man taught us to follow His steps so we can offer a purposeful, meaningful life to God. That in the end, our souls can dwell in the Light of God forever.
