    At a recent cars & coffee, I noticed someone taking pictures of my truck & that made me feel pretty good. Watching a young man bring a model of your car to you choked me up. They are the future of the classic car hobby, & seeing how you inspired a future gear head makes me want to get back into the garage & get something done. Well done sir, well done!

    The young man that gave the toy car, he is a friend/schoolmate of my friends oldest son. He actually sent me clips of this, but told me I had to wait to see your video for all of it. He said you were/are a true gentleman with everyone around, genuine. It's people like you, taking time for everyone, and inspiring everyone, that helps keep the automotive world alive. We've all been at that point of giving up, and actually have given up. God knew you needed that young man, at that exact moment. The appreciation we have for your transparency, your drive, your creations, but most of all, your true to self, true to life reality. That's what keeps us here.
    You say thank you to us, we say thank you, as well, to you.

    I'm not a person who comments very often so with that being said. I became a subscriber a couple of years ago and have always enjoyed your content. When I say the look in your eyes the first time you rapped on the car a little that look was priceless. Dylan you are a good person and I so much enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work.

  • @imkwuzn
    @imkwuzn 2 роки тому +5

    Dylan, one of the reasons I enjoy your content so much is because you are real. You make mistakes, get frustrated, forget to tie the battery down, etc. It’s human nature to want to walk away sometimes, especially when you are exhausted and up against a deadline you realize cannot be met. The most important thing is that you know when to take a break, walk away, calm down and then come back with a clear head and forge on. We are often our own worst enemy but having a strong support system, family, friends and faith is what makes all the difference at the end of the day. Congratulations on getting through it and finishing strong! Looking forward to future content as always. God bless.

    Dylan. Please give a shout into to your Dad. At time stamp19:33 your Dad said "turn up the radio", in reference to the drive shaft noise. I immediately thought of a friend who passed away 20 years ago. He was a die hard Mopar guy. He drag raced a 64 Polara in the nostalgia class at several local drag straps. When ever I was having issues working on my 67 Mustang and complained about a noise I couldn't figure out, he would say "turn up the radio". Thanks for the memory.

    That car is such a trip down memory lane for me, My first car was a 1959 Plymouth Suburban station wagon (Not a GM Suburban, you know the real Mopar Suburban). It had a 318 two bbl, three on the tree, no power steering and no power brakes or as my Dad used to say "No power steering and no power brakes, it's got power to the rear wheels"! Don't worry about Mrs. McC only giving it a six out of ten you'll know it has her approval when she races you to the car so she can drive it.

It was exactly what I was looking for, a ‘79 Olds Cutlass Calais 4spd and fairly rare. But life had other ideas, heart attack and a incurable lung disease but I REFUSE to let it go until it sees the road again in my hands. Keep pushing !!

Trying to film everything and trying to tackle so many issues. Your humble and that and for that I give you tons of respect! I could easily see someone who has a popular UA-cam channel with all the subscribers you have, could be cocky arrogant and make up excuses. But that’s not you. If I could, I’d sit here and just hit the like button over and over for about an hour! I love this car! It looks good and sounds even better, but the best part (for me) is the V8 with a four speed behind it! Love it! God bless you and your family, Dylan!

    This car has my attention because my first car was a 57 Belvedere. The challenges you are encountering are basically the same challenges I encountered years ago. My first setback was the 318 poly spun a main bearing and it progressed from there. I sold the car and regret it every day. I'm glad you are making progress and I can't wait to see the finished product

    you take such pride in your work of restoring that plymouth. I watched every video. I wish I had your motivation restoring a car like what you did with the plymouth.

    My Dad drove a 74 Diplomat unmarked police car for the Detroit Police Department in 1978. These packed mooncaps are those exact hub covers!
    I love them!
