Yes. Left side or right side. Any corner of the screen. On the floor
Subwoofers should be placed in it's sweetspot. Inorder to find sweetspot for the sub, you need to find out the Lowest tuned frequency of the sub. In the case of jbl bar 2.1,the sub is tuned around 40hz(don't expect anything below that.. Like that from real subwoofers which dig deep below 35hz.)
So, play 40hz frequency tone, and walk all around the room to find a spot where the notes are felt heavier. Place the sub there. And the sound bar should be placed in such a way that it is on top of the sub. Height for the sound bar must be atleast 1 and a half metres above ground level. And recommended distance from the sub woofer to your seating position is atleast 3 meters.

15k ബഡ്ജറ്റ് ആണെങ്കിൽ samsung b550 നല്ലതാണ്. Ok ആണെങ്കിൽ എടുക്കാം. ഞാൻ എപ്പഴും ട്രെഡിഷണൽ സ്പീക്കർ സെറ്റപ്പ് ആണ് recommend ചെയ്യാറ്. So, കുറച്ചുകൂടി ബഡ്ജറ്റ് കൂട്ടുകയാണെങ്കിൽ, just go for the edifier r1280dbs bookshelf speakers. Subwoofer. വേണം എന്നുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ edifier t5 കൂടി എടുത്തോളൂ. Close to audiophile grade sound quality കിട്ടും 👍🏽

True surround sound കിട്ടില്ല. But, തിയേറ്റർ എഫ്ഫക്റ്റ് എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞാൽ surround sound മാത്രമല്ല, അമ്പരപ്പിക്കുന്ന low ഫ്രക്ൻസി rumbles ഉം ഡെപ്ത് ഉള്ള വൊക്കേൽസ് ഉം, ക്വാളിറ്റി ഹൈ end റെസ്പോൺസ് ഉം കൂടിയ പവർഫുൾ ഓഡിയോ output ആണ്. ഇത് അതേപടി തരുന്ന സിസ്റ്റംസ് ഇറങ്ങിയിരുന്നു. ഇപ്പോഴും അവ വിപണിയിൽ ണ്ട്. അത്തരത്തിലുള്ള 2.1 സിസ്റ്റംസ് ഇറക്കാൻ ഇന്നത്തെ കാലത്ത് ഒരു വെല്ലുവിളി ആണ്.
