He has amazing voice control and technique, i saw him this week on his Year Of The Tiger tour and was blown away. He is never straining and never abuses his voice if you listen for it. His longevity is amazing, with Chris Cornell gone Myles is the best vocalist around nowadays i think.
This is not evn high for Myles but In a nutshell, a lot of vocal training to develop the perfect technique for him to continue singing those highs consistently for as long as he wants a career. He trained with one of the world's best teachers who taught him Bel Canto technique too. At this stage, there is very little that Myles Kennedy could humanly do to improve his technique, he's just maintaining. He's a master of his own voice and he's doing everything he can to preserve it as he starts to age. Imo he's is now the greatest living rock vocalist and I don't think there has ever been a rock frontman with as much mastery over his vocals. One of the greatest of all time for sure.

So fucken lucky to witness his era! Hopefully this man will get introduce to the rock hall of fame, he deserves it more than anyone.

Myles has a frequency and magic about his voice that draws the listener in..he absolutely imbues his entire soul into his music and you can hear it..you can feel it..you remember it..his ability to translate his experiences and his messages thru music is very profound wich in my opinion makes him one of the greatest singer/song writers of all time.. because his music is for everybody and needs no label or genre..his gift to all of us..i for one am very grateful for that gift.and for the songs ghost of yesterday and blackbird..wich touched my soul in a way that no others ever have and i suspect ever will..truly an awesome dude
I have followed Myles with Alter Bridge and with Slash and the Conspirators for years. I have waited for Myles solo work forever! It is perfect, I love music and I could not have wished for any better he pours his heart and soul into these songs.

Myles is the best rock singer alive today but he's also very humble and intelligent. I'm certain that he would never dream of touching Cornell's work because he knows how inimitable the man is and how special his legacy is. He wouldn't try to take anything away from that.
