The Alchemist and Harry Fraud (who I don't actually think was on here) are S+ imo, yeah theyre formularic but it works every time and I can't get enough of their rapper + producer albums

There are so many famous, influential, noteworthy, and downright great producers in hip-hop that you could absolutely do a follow-up video to include even more, and possibly change some positions as you hear more from the producers already on the list. It really has me thinking about the importance of beatmakers in both classic and modern hip-hop.

Aside from All I Need and Release Yo' Delf, which are basically remakes of classic R&B songs, the album is the darkest and grimiest of the Wu-Tang Clan's prime years. The beats on Sub Crazy and Mr. Sandman especially sound like nightmares in music form.

For EL-P, I’ve heard all 4 RTJ albums (2 is also my favorite), but I also really liked the album he produced for Killer Mike that acted as a sort of prelude to RTJ in R.A.P. Music. The production there was excellent!
EL-P is easily atleast an S producer but to me id say he'd be in S+ . He consistently makes phenomenal beats that far stand above average producers while creating new limits. I think you have a limited scope of his production you should listen to the album he did with Killer Mike before RTJ (R.A.P. Music), id argue that album has harder hitting production than most of the RTJ discography. And that doesnt even touch what he did in the early 2000's under his own label Def Jux. He's pushed the boundaries of music with his production alone and is big reason why he is considered a god of underground hip hop.
ngl i felt like el-p should've been like S-S+ Tier, but i gotta appreciate the raw honesty of saying the only reason he isn't higher cause you haven't listened to his other shit. I'd hope he'd honestly respect El-P more knowing he started producing and rapping super forward thinking abstract hip-hop in the late 90's, and did so much production on classic 2000's underground hip-hop albums as well as the amazing production on his solo albums AND Killer Mike's R.A.P.
