- I fully intended to review this three wheeler, however, as you will see, I was more focused on staying alive! Sorry about the swearing, it was ‘live’ and 100% genuine reactions.

Hahaha! best comedy i've seen in ages bro, lol, thanks for taking one for the team, you're welcome to it, I would have thought someone would have given you a crash course in what's what and what to expect, or did knowone know, lol, RSM8.
+Skeggy Cruiser Crash Course! I see what you did there! lol - Terrible ride
RSMF-*RI*
Mr B
I had one for 18 months and got hooked on bikes, so I finally learnt to ride a real bike and got my full licence at 47. Now have a speed triple.
+superchip010368 Well at least your story has a happy ending! lol
RSMF-*RI*
Mr B
It's the only bike where you get a left and right head shake.
I saw a rider on one of these, doing 60mph on a dual carriageway. He had no helmet. Legal, apparently. He must have thought the third wheel gave him a force field that made him immortal. Scary, just looking at him.
+Stephen Summers Well - proof some people don't have a brain worth protecting - makes sense I suppose. I hope he left a mile stopping distance! Cheers Bro!
RSMF-*RI*
Mr B
That Huntington traffic system is the worst thing they ever did, they should have kept it as a simple roundabout.
+cestrianvlogger indeed! - should go back to no signals at all!
RSMF-*RI*
Mr B
haha thanks for taking one for the team, pleeeease do the MSX125 next :D trust me you will like it :)
+BattyBikerTashie Haha Many thanks - everyone want me to do the Grom! , I'll see what I can do ;o)
RSMF-*RI*
Mr B
+Mr & Mrs B's Brain Dump you will like it :) I've got one. RSMF
I love mine :) took a bit of getting used to... But now used to the lean and getting the power on early
I've never ridden a Piaggio MP3 before, so I can't say it'd be easy for me either. But I've got 4 bikes in the stable: Triumph America (cruiser), Triumph Trophy (sport touring), Suzuki Burgman 650 (scooter), and a Yamaha FZ-07 (naked sport). They all handle completely different... like night and day. I take it the MP3 is even beyond that? I know of 1 older fellow and 1 older lady that both ride MP3s and they seem to have no problems, but they're older and I guess the 3rd wheel helps with balance when they come to a stop.
+gentlemansnine Hi Buddy, yeah like I mentioned, if you have not been riding bikes for a long time you may get on with it. But all the bike physics are missing which makes it hard to adjust. No Centrifugal force from two wheels makes cornering above 20mph feel nothing like a bike at all. It's a gimmick to get car drivers onto smaller vehicles without taking another test. I won't go into the hidden politics, but in summary. These are not intended for bikers, they are for car drivers.
RSMF-*RI*
Mr B
+gentlemansnine At my experience,a big bike wheel in front is more stable at high speed than two little wheels, especially on bad roads But at low speed,it is different.
Dont know what the wobble is but it shouldnt. Slow speeds are easy. Steering a bit heavy as there are 2 wheels. At speed they are like a normal bike. Best to think and use the suspension lock as a replacement side stand. Most riders treat it as a normal bike and put their feet down at lights. Left brake is rear brake only, right brake is front and footbrake is dual. My footbrake is rubbish. If you put too much front brake on while canted over the front suspension pulls you upright to get you out of trouble. I wouldnt like to ride one if I was straight from a car with no bike experience. Like a bike its heavy and you need to know about tipping.
I like mine. Better than my vibrating, filling rattler Honda 500 twin.
Hahaha.. Been waiting to see this since you mentioned it. lol. The wobble at slow speeds, you need to hold in the left brake a bit (as if feathering the clutch) and keep revs higher, then wobble is gone lol. You deffo need to do more videos like this lol. Still giggling here.
+Dean “UK Biker” Martin Mate you have no idea how bad these are, the brakes are pretty much useless, bag of shit. I need better life insurance to ride this nonsense!
RSMF-*RI*
Mr B
Haha. Great video. You should deffo do more of your review test rides. was enjoyable. I'd like to see you on the SRV 850, also a Can-Am RT 1330.
Ride sate mate.
love to see you on the Aprillia SVR 850
+bighorse10048 I will do my best to locate one!
RSMF-*RI*
Mr B
PMSL not sure I could add anything else having read some of the other comments. You clearly didn't ride it like a boss ;op
+wyvernbiker No mate, never again either!
RSMF-*RI*
Mr B
I'm only 2 minutes into your review and I can tell you are not a scooter rider. You're reaching for the clutch on a machine with CVT. Scooter riders know the levers are for front and rear brakes. I owned for a Piaggio MP3 400 and I never found any wobble at low speed. Locking the front suspension is only for those who have balancing the bike while it is stationary. It is handy but not essential. The two wheels up front provide stability especially on uneven surfaces and slippery roads. At the same time as I owned the Piaggio I also owned (and still do) a Kawasaki Voyager 1700 so I'm a motorcycle rider and I liked the Piaggio. I found the power came at the top of the range rather than spread across the band. The 400 held its own on the highway at 110km/h - the national speed limit in Australia.
I test rode it a few weeks ago and I didn't liked it neither. In the comments, a MP3 owner said that I'm not skilled enough to ride and appreciate it... 😉
+MrKiddo I just watched, I think you were very kind. Also very brave on the rolling lock thing. Like the way you mention stable after showing damage from it falling over lol!
RSMF-*RI*
Mr B
+Mr & Mrs B's Brain Dump Lol, thanks! 😊 The owner of the MP3 did a lowside at 20 mph in a roundabout in wet conditions. This fact is enough to show that the 3rd wheel is useless... Ride safe & invisible MrB!
+MrKiddo Exactly. If you are coming from traditional bike,at first the thing is baffling and frightening, cause it s a completely different way of driving. But when you will have learned it,and got the needed reflexes, you will have a very pleasant, safe and comfortable vehicle.
I sense another duel in the making ! Hahaha :)
+MotoCitrus Nooooo! - I could never go on one again! - Well maybe for a Million ;o)
RSMF-*RI*
Mr B
Road testing it the car park is cheating!
Good to see Mr B has a new best friend hehe
+ETS2 Screenshots Shockingly poor in every respect.
RSMF-*RI*
Mr B
You sounded scarred! More scary than the Busa I guess
+Womanwolfrider I'm not scared of any bike, Busa is awseome. But this! Well, just no really, think you should take one out! In fact you Must! Do it or ... or...
RSMF-*RI*
Mr B
So you got on a machine that is a cross between a bike and a car and you expected it to act like a bike? Considering you don't need a bike licence to use it, I'm surprised you thought it was more bike than car. You didn't take the opportunity to change your style that fits the machine or even change the digital dash to miles (Mode helps you change the dash), nor try and use the brakes the way they should, preferring to try and ride it like a bike and compare it to one.
I personally don't like these machines, or in fact any three-wheeler. But I prefer to know how to ride one and then determine whether it stands up to what it is supposed to do than expect it to be something else. Analogy: you can't ride a bull like you ride a horse, but both can pull a cart.
Your review is just petulant. As summed up by your "but I can't be bothered to look". Your bonus footage showed you were determined to hate it before you even sat on it, and weren't aware you had to hold the brake to start (just like on scooters, because they have auto clutch and would fly forwards on start otherwise).
Because you don't have a clutch, you use the back brake to stabilise at slow speeds. Try riding your MT09 at slow speeds in first gear without the clutch and see how stable it is.
This was just a hate video rant because you choose not to learn that different types of machines require different skills and techniques. Disappointed.
You've still got to admit that the consent is floored completely. ...absolutely nothing to be gained by a dual wheel so close together at the front....absolutely nothing whatsoever .
All this is is just another silly concept that is even more meaningless than the Sinclair c5...
If you're into that sort of thing then two wheeled scooters work. ...so do bigger engined scoots like the burgman for those who want that sort of thing....these being based on a tried and tested two wheeled design. .
All this horrible I'll conceived contraption will do is lose the company the money they originally invested in such a design where as they could and should have used it to better the two wheeled bikes they normally produce. .
who the bloody hell will buy one of these things?
Not many I promise.
+O8 ride Hold up there mister, this was NOT a review and clearly stated 'First impressions'. The Dash clock is Analog and CANNOT be changed. I think you jumped without your parachute here mate. Why make it lean like a bike if it is supposed to be a car?
I'll also point out that it is advertised as a commuter scooter - Which is false advertising, it is a Trike.
If it was a review then I would have reviewed it, hence I was not bothered.
Also after trying the brakes in every combination it was clear to me that they were totally inadequate for over 1/4 ton of trike.
I was determined to find a positive, hence all the silences, however I could find none.
You are completely wrong on my approach to this and I was hoping to have a happy ending.
How do you know you do not like them? Have you taken one out?? I hope so or that would make you a huge hypocrite.
Don't believe the magazines and papers, ride it yourself. All my rides are honest and I'm offended by your comments and assumptions.
RSMF-*RI*
Mr B
WEGGY zx12r
On the contrary Weggy, these are very popular on the continent. They also don't need a motorbike licence to ride, just a car one. Piaggio is perceived as one of the front-runners in this arena, which is attracting more and more manufacturers. Why? Because they are wanted. Maybe not in the UK, but elsewhere. It's just too easy to look at a machine and dislike it - I certainly dislike it - and then get on it without knowledge of how to ride it and end up being a danger on the road. It's not the machine, it's the rider.
Mr & Mrs B's Brain Dump
Calm down, calm down. No need to be so defensive and "offended" Mr B. You provided your opinion, and I provided mine of yours - it's how the world gets better. Make no mistake, this was your review ride - call it what you like. I don't doubt your ride was honest, but it was based on lack of knowledge IMO
If it is an analog dash, then the mph indication is on the inside of the curve. By law.
Your intention was to dislike it as a machine, but what came across is that you don't know how to ride these things.
Why make a machine lean as it goes round corners if it has two close together wheels at the front and only one at the back. Did you seriously ask me that question? Make it lean like a motorbike? I must be missing something about physics here. Even people lean as they turn tightly enough at speed.
I don't have a problem with you disliking the machine. Or having an issue with the term "commuter scooter". I just can't take it seriously when you judge it against the way you ride your bike and how a bike should be when you don't even know that you need to feather the back brake as if it is your clutch or why you apply the brake to start up
I don't have to ride or drive anything to like or dislike it. That's not how these things work. I don't like buses but I don't have to have driven one to have the opinion. And if I tried to drive a bus like I drive a car and expect to be able to compare it against a car, I am sure I would find that it didn't act that way and I wasn't driving it properly. As opposed to it being shit because it didn't do what I expect from my car.
+O8 ride I'm only offended by false accusation. The fact is I rode this bike to give it a fair crack of the whip. I did not ride the bike to dislike it.
I'm not going to go though the rest of your opinions. You have a right to an opinion no matter how far from the truth it may be.
I'll leave it there.
Too powerful for you was it?
Grom next please!
+CalmBiker lol - Grom Shmom - will see what I can do :)
RSMF-*RI*
Mr B
I put up with about 4:00 minutes of this.... You sound as if you didn't get a good breefing from an experienced Piggaio rider... Way too many "reaction" verbage in there as opposed to "anticipated" thoughts and sentences..... Not pleasant to listen to an in-experienced rider.... (as an asside, you also sound like my liberal-thinking brother - whom I stay away from at all costs.... Nice Vid though, turning the sound off...
It's a quad with a wheel missing.
+EinkOLED lol! - Quads are safer!
RSMF-*RI*
Mr B
hehe....actually had to double take that when I seen the title lol,..im like WTF....MrB....really??....naaaah!!.....but then I vaguely remember mention of something on a hangout regards some nutter test riding one,...never for a second put 2 and 2 together to come up with you bro lol!
+Bizz Haha, well, tell ya somthin! NEVER EVER AGAIN! what a pile O shite!
RSMF-*RI*
Mr B

+von schwarze natter Felt like I was about to become a plum smoothie!
RSMF-*RI*
Mr B
hehe so you´re not going to buy one then ???? RSMF
I need to know the 0-60 can you road test it again please 😜
+Womanwolfrider No - I think you need to test it, for sure!
RSMF-*RI*
Mr B
Something tells me you didn't enjoy that... ;) hehe
+Bex88 Just awful, maybe you could try one out for comedy value?
RSMF-*RI*
Mr B
Ahahaha! XD Think I'll pass ;) x
Looked like it had abit too much power for yer mr b
+Chris T lol - Yeah, that 0-60 in 15 seconds sure is scary!
RSMF-*RI*
Mr B
Hilarious! It's for car drivers, really, so they can transit to biking one wheel at a time. RSM
+Len Scapoff It's terrible Len, you get no centrifugal forces, it's so messed up. I tried to power out of a corner and it was having none of it! The brakes are pathetic on a 'thing' that weighs more than a Hayabusa! - Over 1/4 ton!
Cheers Mate
RSMF-*RI*
Mr B
Big wuss should have ridden it like etc etc
+Womanwolfrider You do it then - chicken?
RSMF-*RI*
Mr B
Haha so this is it.
+TheLuisVlogs1 Hehe, yes it is! - Feel free to try one out! lol
RSMF-*RI*
Mr B
Let me guess.....you didn't like it. :) RI
+02bigkev Might have made a good heater in the winter? Fire!
RSMF-*RI*
Mr B
Good one on having a go but its just a bag of shit not for me rsm
+Suffolk Andy Yep you summed it very well.
Shit!
RSMF-*RI*
Mr B
The wobble must come from the two front thin wheels trying to match each and every bump. Not the best thing to ride.
+RevvedUpBiker Probably, but life is too short to find out lol!
RSMF-*RI*
Mr B
Steeds for special needs.
+Hepcat Harley Or anyone tired of living!
