@@TheFlysly54 LOD distance should only affect the 3d model of the car and nothing else, and 50 is good to not see things popping up when you're near other cars, so I wouldn't touch that, especially if using VR. @Victor Janeba For shadows, I've found that not only that setting matters, but at least one of effects or postprocessing (or both, don't remember now). Try to set them on high. I had them on lower settings tryin' to find a smooth framerate, (but honestly they seem to not impact performance so much and I have a 10 years old pc, except for my nvidia), and for example, on the intro sequence and in mirrors/internal cams I had no shadows at all, and in game and replays I had that "floating" effect too (I can understand that when the car in front is so far away that's not so important, but that effect was present even at near/mid distances). With them on high everything is perfect. Haven't tried a race with heavy rain like this one, but with light rain everything is good for me, so I presume it's those settings that you should set at least to high.
What settings do you use? I struggle to get 90FPS on a HP Reverb, with a RTX3070 and Ryzen 5600x in race scenarios. I have everything set to low, pixel denisty 100% and I stil get motion reprojection in a packed field due to gpu bottlenecking.

I wonder... how did you get shadows under cars when raining? My shadow settings are epic/epic but I get shadows just when the sun is shining. It looks like cars are floating on wet tarmac in my game. Cannot stand this effect but cannot get rid of it.
Up the opponent car LOD distance. It defaults it to 50%, I think I have it set at 75%. Give that a try and let me know if it worked.
God this looks nice, I want a wheel so much so I can’t play iracing and ac but I don’t have the space or setup for it
i want to download this again but my rx 580 8 gb hates me
Can't believe how realistic is Assetto Corsa Competizione
how to look around in the car
Amazing, It looks like driving really.
What settings do you use? I struggle to get 90FPS on a HP Reverb, with a RTX3070 and Ryzen 5600x in race scenarios. I have everything set to low, pixel denisty 100% and I stil get motion reprojection in a packed field due to gpu bottlenecking.
This game has some of the worst optimisation, your computer is absolutely fine
have you compared Index with other VRs? I'm just curious about differences especially with ACC.
Monza in ACC in heavy rain that too in VR crazy man
