Venue's diesel engine is worst engine .xuv300can beat venue effortlessly and very very easily

The timing taken into consideration is only the elapsed time or the time from when the car moves from the start line thereby cutting the laser sensors, to the time when the car crosses the finish line cutting the laser sensors there. Reaction time was not taken into account for the drags so even if the driver leaves a little later, the time from point to point is taken into consideration.

Also mention one is automatic the other manual.

Xuv 300 diesel is slow in outride acceleration .. it takes 13 seconds to reach 100.. it's 115 hp and 300 NM torque engine doesn't translate to real world performance..but it's ingear acceleration is very good

Xuv 1300 kg bigger dimension vs venue 1100 kg considering this it a victory over big margin I would say
Proud owner of petrol XUV 300. On driver seat, full bonnet is visible, and suspension is so nice that you cross every bump and hole without any problem. Pickup is very fast so I just drive in 3rd or 4th gear only.

Yes, we did do multiple runs and the results were very very similar each time. A testament to how close these two cars are.

@@iamgod3224 Nah... Not in the case of XUV. That 300nm of torque definitely plays a major role. I'm pretty sure the diesel one is faster than the petrol here.

If the track length is more venue will win because of higher bhp but for short length track Xuv wins because of higher torque.Btw both performed well.

How is the performance of the 1.0L turbo petrol? Does it feel under powered while driving in the hills with 5 people onboard?
Also Polo is also launching a 1.0L 3 cylinder turbo TSI engine. Although I know venue and polo are in different league. But considering the engine is same 1L 3 cylinder turbo on papers. So which one is more fun to drive and value for money product?

MAHINDRA XUV300 is 🔥🔥 being heavier & less on power compared to Hyundai VENUE also 0-100 Hyundai venue is faster than XUV300. Yet Mahindra XUV300 wins.

@@gyaneshupadhyaya1447 The XUV300 has better low end grunt, so it is quicker initially, but because the Venue revs faster and has a stronger top end, it is able to catch up with the XUV and narrow the time gap, despite the Mahindra's better initial launch.
@@saumil.shah28 But The Upcoming XUV 300 will get more Topspeed with the new engine I think XUV 300 has the most torqued engine in its segment torque also helps it to get away quickly

These drag races are interesting. Could you please do a drag race between Maruti Swift petrol and Ford Figo diesel. Both of them have the same power to weight ratio. It will be interesting to see the best small capacity naturally aspirated petrol engine vs best small capacity turbo diesel. Pleas try doing it team. 😊
Figo diesel will practically annihilate Swift petrol. It's even faster than Polo GT tsi and Verna diesel in a straight line
The Swift petrol's quarter mile time is 18.196 seconds, while the Figo diesel's is 16.988 seconds. The Figo makes more power, much more torque, hence it is much faster. It isn't a fair contest.
@@saumil.shah28 The timings don't really matter here. In this video and Figo diesel vs Polo GT TDI, the cars that lost has better 0-100kmph timings as they show. Sure Figo has more power and torque. But Swift is 180 ligher. It has a linear power delivery and revvs faster. It will be interesting to see how the race goes. Check out the drag race between Swift Petrol and Scorpio in the same channel. Youl'll get what I'm talking about.
@@SuyashKaul You can't say until you see a drag race. In the video the less powerful and heavier vehicle won. In the previous video. Figo diesel beat Polo GT TDI which has more power and torque. In one of their previous videos, 83bhp Swift Petrol beat 140bhp Scorpio. Along with the power and torque, there are lot of other things that matters. Like power to weight ratio, the gearing, how the engine delivers the power. I'm just interested in seeing a drag race between my favorite petrol hatchback vs my favorite diesel hatchback.
@@aprasad666 no way man. Figo's mid range punch has a blistering force. Swift can't see the backlight of Ford once figo enters it turbo zone. Figo diesel definitely heavier than swift k12 but you are forgetting that it also has a larger engine with more horsepower and torque to pull that weight. Petrol swift has 113 nm torque which generates around 4200 rpm while diesel figo's 215 nm torque generates around 1750 RPM. In this type of drag race the number of torque and what rpm do those numbers generated actually decides which car will have the last laugh. Once figo's entire 215 nm peak torque generates around 1750 RPM, maruti can't stand a chance against Ford....🔥🔥💥💥🚀🚀
Forget this drag race, due to such massive amount of torque, in terms of in gear acceleration figo diesel will also leave swift petrol gasping for breath. No competition.
