Skyjay getting 2nd place at a stacked supermajor with Incineroar is just more proof that you can’t blame your character. You can succeed with almost anyone. Over 70 characters have reached top 8 at a major or supermajor including low and mid tiers like donkey Kong, king k rool, isabelle, duck hunt, wii fit trainer, and Incineroar. You can do it, just keep grinding!

I get the passion, but we can't blindly discredit character advantage, if skyjay versed a link or a campy character, he would lose even though hes good

@@IIIISai quite literally. Incineroar becomes a problem when you have to get close to initiate fights, deal damage, and get kills. If anyone played a campy character or zoner like you said, he would not have gone as far. Not to discredit SkyJay or Incineroar though and he beat some of the best in class with said mid tier.

in 2024 incin will be higher tier than kazuya. he has an arson mechanic like joker. if you swing in super swing bros he does 60% reversal. that's a peach combo without any input demands. also kazuya has bad rep so top players won't to play him to save face.
