I always love camera dollies like this. I'd add a small motor with a lot of torque so that you can keep the speed consistent, and not have to worry about slopes slowing it down a lot.
I have made something like this but a bigger for my phone and the one thing I noticed is that if you try to use you dolly in any type of not flat surface you can’t use it like for instance I can’t use it on my floor because of the Grout. But it is still super useful for filming, good job
Suspension might be a good idea to soften out the bumps. very cool idea. have you thought about posting it on that custom lego sets site to have it made into a product?
