The reason I have a huge backlog is because I get so many games for free. Whether that’s from Steam giveaways, Epic Games sales, or MS Rewards points.
It’s given me an opportunity to branch out and try new things. Even if the games are terrible, I can just shrug them off.
The problem is I have so many more games than I know what to do with now, so I now have to deal with the paradox of choice. I’m not going to play a game if I don’t want to.

Glad you liked it. I do still plan to keep up with a yearly gaming goal but even that sometimes can get pushed back with new releases already lol.

I've made a promise to myself to not buy any new games until I make a dent in my backlog, as well as to be more mindful about the games I play. I played Brave Frontier from launch to server shut down. My backlog is several consoles deep now.
I bought all 3 atelier ryzas and haven't even opened 2 or 3.

Thats me. I did play Brave Frontiers from launch to about 2016 but moved on to other gachas. Also I wanna buy all the Ryza physical copies but im trying my best to just wait til I get to any.
*the Pandemic helped me clear like 90% of my backlog 💀 all that's left now is Bully, GTA4, Yakuza 4, Infinite Wealth, Man Who Erased His Name, Hitman Absolution and some loose Gamepass titles* 👍
I haven’t played Infinite Wealth or MWEHN yet, but Yakuza 4 is one of the best ones. Have fun.
