Think this trailer made alot of us Emotional as much death hurt it's still part of life and I know EA was touching a very touchy subject but I truly feel like we needed this in the game

I cried the first time I watched it. I've lost both of my parents so it hit close to home. It's been several years, though. Had it been more recent, I'd probably skip this pack, but I completely sympathize with anyone who'd rather not have this in their game.
I completely understand how you feel about it being almost too real. I honestly think they'll have made most of this pack optional because they know some people won't want to deal with it. I'm personally excited for it (even though I'm that person IRL who doesn't go to many funerals because it's too much for me) but in the game, I think I can handle it.... we'll see. Also, I think the part you were confused by when she became a ghost to scare the living was a temporary effect by swimming in that purple lake. That's my assumption anyway.

I think you expressing yourself is valid and I wonder if it will add to the beauty of the experience of the pack. Not saying necessarily for you, but for the community as a whole. I can see a lot of opportunities for collective healing. Thank you for your review, it gave me perspective.
Thank you. I think for me personally, the funny, lighthearted deaths were great. Seeing a family sobbing around someone dying in their bed was way TOO much and realistic. But like I said, just for me. Everyone is different and will want different things from the game☺️

Our life experiences form us into the people we are and if past experiences make this pack not your cup of tea then that is 100% OK. The commenter stating we don't have to play it is true but what is also true is that they can play it if they want and that can all be done without name-calling or making people's feelings feel invalid.
I think a Dev Blog has come out that explains the pack more in depth. Given what I do for a living, I'm looking forward to this pack, just to see how well they do it. I noticed four different funeral types in the trailer, which is a pretty good representation of the event. Also, the graveyards appear to have a lot of different headstones, memorials, vaults, and maybe even a mausoleum, which I find fascinating. There is a new career associated with the funeral business, and there are new aspirations and traits. Overall, I see it as a net positive. I certainly understand your discomfort with the funeral aspect of the game. As I've gotten older, I've learned to see the value of a good funeral, especially one that's treated as a celebration of the person's life. I've seen many different ways that different families from different cultures and different backgrounds say goodbye to their beloved family member or friend. Grief is universal, and for a moment in time, we are united by that common emotion with all people who've experienced it.

I'm with you on the feelings on this pack. As you know, I've been dealing with a lot of death related things so I agree that it feels super heavy. I kept waiting for something to get light hearted but it never really did.

Way too emotional for me as my daddy died in his bed not even two years ago. He left his inheritance to me and I had to arrange the funeral the coffin all by myself. So im feeling very sad watching this trailer taz even tho it's just a game it still hurts 😢
I feel the same i really like the addition of Graveyards , but whole funeral events are just too real for me. On a sidenote the clothes are gorgeous and the two new career pathes seem interesting. But why does Grim speak english? The Bucketlist feature wasnt on my list but i find it fits very well. I read that the townstlyle is leaning on romania and eastern europe.

I wish they would make a super hero dlc instead ^^" I ve lost most of my family, and i'm really disapointed by this pack... Too bad i really like the Painting of the family that you can get with the pre order but well... I guess this pack and the reborn one (the oen that seem to be the next one) are gonna be the one that i'll never get in my library then...

The guy with the drink wasn’t drunk. It’s a funeral tradition they do in many countries where they pour liquor for the deceased.

A more light hearted note Meadow would of loved the Grim Reaper face reveal as she used to have a small crush or infatuation with Grim.

This pack seems tobe too realistic for me right now, but it may be a good addition for the story aspects.
