Lighthouses are actually one of the most broken items in the game. People are actually complaining in reviews regarding how broken it is. As others say it multiplies what you get. So imagine having quarries, mining rods, then a couple lighthouses. *Profit* Also that's how I got like 10k sand. With light houses :)
If no one else has said it yet. The Lighthouse, has a Area of Effect, which doubles resource drops. This effect Ores, Crystals, Farms (Which you need a windmill to make seeds, then use seeds on land tiles which you have used the shovel on. It effects also fish traps. Note: It is supposed to "Double" the resource drop. However, from experience I maybe gain 20-30% more, not 100% more. Still way better than nothing. Also hint and tip: Get a Flower Forge (If I remember the name correctly), you use Flowers and Stone to make sand. In the Windmill you can make Animal Feed, use this on Cows to gain more poop, which will be used for more animal feed, landfill, and that NPC quest.
the fact that you are not using mining rods is making me physically ill also in the graveyard biome there is a goblin that gives you a skeleton key that never gets used up

I guess I just didn't notice since it's been pretty gradual for the most part, but it still makes me happy seeing one of my favorite sim game youtubers come so far in just 3-ish years. Max level shovel digs up plastic. You won't need to go through the sand -> glass -> bottle -> bottled oil -> plastic anymore. Just dig up the plastic as is. Every giant 5x5 scoop ends up averaging you at least one or two plastics. Max level shovel costs 5 circuits though, but is the best use of them.

Tip for overgrown islands I've found, I typically only need a few that grow resources at a time and it's tedious to go back and forth between NPCs and monsters when objects are in the way, you can move through crops, for example: Beets(useless food), and crops never go away once their fully grown. Plus, it's fairly possible to convince yourself the crop you planted is just grass. *Best part of it:* Monsters do not spawn on taken up tiles, example: Crop
drones are basically a slower thunder strike, you can buy them from markets end game (price scales based on amount of drones you have just like crafting) to get 30-40 and then never have to mine again. Also don't forget to spam mining lasers everywhere, they are super cheap and only take up 1 tile. I recommend 2-3 per mine to get the most out of it.
Hi DF I’ve played a lot of forager, here’s some tips, the highest upgraded shovel always yields rare items such as plastic, logistics is an overpowered skill it doubles the miners area of effect also speaking of miners put your droids or robot slaves onto your mining laser and your quarry’s you get much much more items, once your shovel upgrades you can dig ultimately if you have the other skill that deals damage and replenishes energy because ur holy relic auto attack’s undead and demons also build lots of markets because you can buy droids for cheap and you can buy rare stuff for the museum and you can buy circuit boards and etc

Hey DF! Wanna know whats fun? Letting your islands fill up with junk and using a Mandragora potion(makes you poisonous to nearby resources), lightning strike potion(lightning arcs off of you and destroys things.) and the fire rod(makes things go boom) to run thru everything.
If u have 1 lighthouse it increases by 50% and it stacks. example you are getting 30 sand while digging, 1 lighthouse will give you 45 sand instead, the 2nd lighthouse will get 50% from the 45 so it becomes 67 so 2 lighthouses gives you more than double, and the 3rd lighthouse will give you 100, 4th will give you 150, 5th will give you 225 so on and it will multiply and multiply so basically if u have 10 lighthouses around an island, you can dig 1 time with a robotic shovel and get atleast 1k-3k sand
I Started playing the game after i saw your first ep, im currently level 43 all the islands unlocked mining lasers everywhere and oh get the flower press. best way to get sand... well or an uprgraded shovel combined with the right shrine buff... oh ya get a shrine. its really helpful... i havent finished the episode im I too lazy to edit this comment so ya
Oh, you have no idea how glad I am to have watched this video. I, too, have held off on building the next shovel. No more! Always sand? Hell yeah, getting sand is a royal pain in the butt!
Just buy 6-8 markets and have increased supply. They each have their own separate inventory and sell spirit stones(5k and you can use them to level) and drones(40-50k). I'm max level with a horde of 21 drones now and with top left skill which doubles damage they harvest everything(cost in market does not increase but factory costs increase with every single one). Also make old book and amulet if you haven't yet. Gives you +% resources and +% exp (did not find out until endgame... regrets).
DF you have to get the upgrade that gives vaults extra space so that they have 9 spaces per vault This basically makes you only have to have what you want in your inventory
I downloaded this game yesterday, and i ended all the content in one go.. probably 6-7 hours. Its a really cool game, but you finish it so fast :( And i discovered a bug, when you will unlock shrines, you can get the buff they give, destroy the shrine and rebuilt it, acquire another buff etc etc..
Faeries in a bottle are very valuable. once you unlock the crystal in the magic tree you can use 5 faeries plus some other stuff to make blue orbs to level up fast endgame.
DF in the shadow biome in the skull dungeon at the end of it you will find a chest that gives you boons for 1 max health so with that much health you could get yourself super drone that is worth 10 drones or a lot of plastic, gems, royal steel and other resources
Obliterator was a bit of a let down... Although I guess it does what it says on the tin. Got so impatient trying to craft it at the end I flooded the world with oil rigs... It happens all too easily, I finally understand the plight of the oil barons.
And for resources, get Bow with Triple arrow perk. That shit is pure gold. You just spam arrows and multiple resources die per hit. Shoot them like gatling gun to just get rid of everythig - mobs or resources. Pickaxe became useless after the bow ._.
The rainbow speeds up things so you can apply them to the banks up get more money, or speed up oil but they stop after a while also if you want an easy way to level up, the monolith with the hammer gives you XP for everything that produces something (I don’t think it works with banks) but anvil and furnaces making thing net you a fair bit of XP you just have to run and grab the effect every 10 minuets
my favorite games always start switching first minecraft then terraria,starbound,left 4 dead 2 and now half life 2 forager and enter the gungeon but unfortunately i dont have enter the gungeon or forager but anyways i love your forager videos they're pretty cool. also there is another youtuber that got me into loving enter the gungeon and forager his channel is hutts but he does swear a lot and from time to time his cat lenny jumps to him so hutts can pet him and show him to the viewers and the cat is pretty cute
I feel like he would do much better if he figured out what a flower press did... *cough-SAND* And also, you can make landfalls to fill in water instead of bridges, my dude.
DF how about you try to before you get the obliterator you get a litteral swarm of drones, so much so that whenever a mine-able object enters your screen it is instantly obliterated. That way you can make another video and you will have your own "unique" "obliteraator".

Power plants also stack up to 4 times. Running at 16 times speed or something stupid like that. They also don't scale in cost.

Thats called an exploit.
The current big bug in the game that you can't finish it feats/achievements wise as the waterproof feat is broken.

I made a bow, got a quiver, and the bow got triple arrows and it made everything crazy easy. I mow down entire islands of overgrowth in a few seconds

I highly recommend killing the desert boss over and over. His drops are really good. He can be found in the building that resembles the Parthenon.
Vaults make your storage space null and void since they can still let you use the items even when crafting.
