- Aidan Hutchinson is seen by many as the likely No. 1 pick in the 2022 NFL draft. After a standout career at Michigan that saw him finish as the Heisman Trophy runner-up, Hutchinson plans to make an instant impact as both a pass-rusher and team leader. And if the Jacksonville Jaguars go another direction with the first overall pick, the Detroit Lions could keep the Plymouth native close to home at No. 2.

Congrats to All Lions Fans, Your Team is climbing, they played super, super hard last year they even gave my Bengals fits in that game last year. Dan Campbell has that locker room humming... Look out for this Team in the very near future. Us Bengal Fans have had tough times but it can be turned around and I love what the Lions are doing, The Detroit Lions are going places.

Are you even watching what they did? They were running a 34 read front with Dom Capers masterminding it for AG. The day Hutchinson declared Campbell suddenly felt the personnel better fit a 43 attacking front. Capers bailed to Denver. The Lions created a bunch of misfits.
ALL OF THAT WAS BEFORE THIS TEAM HAD A 43 DE ON THE ROSTER!
How hard is this to see? They completely shifted their scheme to fit a player that wasn’t on their roster. Meaning they fell in love mindlessly and raced to the podium with no discretion. Meanwhile the Jags took months and realized….Walker is a versatile chess piece who can fit multiple fronts in todays NFL.
The Lions, on the other hand, doubled down and took another scheme specific DE in round 2. Making signing a guy like Okwara last year a mind numbingly dumb move. The same with Charles Harris.
Oh yeah and they want to run a 43….with not even 2 quality LBs on this roster. They are going to run a 425 with only 3 staring caliber DBs on this roster.
How much does Campbell have to change directions before you see this is exactly how bad teams build?

His father was a 2x all big ten player at Michigan. Unfortunately he never made it to the NFL for medical reasons so he went to medical school and is now an er doc.

One game doesn't define a career. Thibodeaux completely disappeared in far more games. Walker only had 9 career sacks while Hutch had 15-16 in one season. Performed good against Ohio State, Iowa, and other schools with above average offensive lines
