Don't be too sure. Imagine them going against a Jamaican team with great bend runners like 2023 Shericka and 2021 Elaine.
It would be more competitive with one man running 400m & two women running 200m, I think... first woman runs 22 low, 2nd with the flying start runs 21 low, total would be close to 44 seconds... Like 43.7 or something, which is fast, but definitely not impossible for some men out there
the woman would defenly catch a man on the last 100m cause they slow down alot

@@cadenlewis213That's not accurate 🙄Go look at Wayde, Norman, Gardner or at the NCAA level Ahmad Robinson, Morales Williams. They're not slowing down in the last 100m, they re-accelerate coming off the turn.

19.57 Justin Gatlin and 19.31 Noah Lyles will definitely win the 2x200m race against the Women’s 4x100m Relay, easily.
USA Women’s 4x100m relay: 40.8
Justin & Noah: 19.57 + 19.31 = 38.88
Plus the second runner saving half a second or 0.75 for getting the baton while moving. Low 38 I think is do-able.
What if it's an international exhibition team with a superb split runner like Julien Alfred, superb bend runners like Shericka or Gabby or Elaine and a 10.6 anchor like Sha'Carri ?
We did this in high school, can’t remember if it was during school or AAU. It was 2 older guys (I think seniors) vs. a freshman 4x100 but it was all guys. Even though you could clearly see the speed difference on the 2nd parts of their 200s, slowing during the handoffs killed us.

I think it would need to be a 4x100 (2 Men & 2 Women) vs 2x200 (2 Men) for the race to be even.
Maybe add a sprint medley relay. (100m,100m,200m, 400m)
Or a 4x200m relay.
That would be cool but men still dominate in anything physical. Would be funny if one of the men couldn’t swim so they had to “run” in the water 😂
I have a better idea : a 2 x 400 m mens team vs a 4 x 200 m womens team 😂

middle school track was odd for me it was some regular kids and other kids with beards winning
I used to race our girls 4x1 in high school. I always got caught on the last 30 meters.

Cute concept. I'd watch if the times were closer, but the 2 men should win this handily enough that it probably wouldn't be interesting. The male 400 vs. the 2x200 for women has alot more going for it as far as as a competitive race. In practical terms however, a race like this today, would be quickly mired in political bs as everyone seems to have an opinion about gender these days.

Less hands off time and the men are quicker not a real mystery the guys would smoke the girls just like 4x4 in Doha

What would be the purpose of this? If 4 women beat 2 men, they wouldn’t really want to brag about that. And if 2 men beat 4 women, it would come off as show off of male physical superiority(because honestly that’s the true intent). Again not very honorable. It has to be something like the mixed-relay, fair and equal so everyone can feel good about their victory.
