Diesel Cold Start Powertech RV Generator w/Kubota Engine

Diesel Powertech RV Generator Cold Start (7 degrees F) with Kubota Engine. This generator is located in the front compartment of a 94 Country Coach Magna. No block warmer and I am not sure if all glow plugs are functioning. I also am not sure why there are puffs of black smoke every few seconds.
