I hope the same does not happen in Thailand, although recent experience suggests Thailand will not be an exception. I’m not an expert. Also another way to think about the virus is not how it will impact you if you contract it, but how you can spread it to your friends, family, and others. Stay safe guys and enjoy your holiday!
We also have to be mindful and sensitive of the millions who have lost not only loved ones but their jobs and will struggle to pay for bills and basic necessities. We all need to come together!
I really appreciate your attitude about this crisis. You're on an island alone here and now at home. You're doing all the measures to help prevent the spread of the virus. If you're action is in line with the advice to stop the virus, why not have a relaxed and sarcastic attitude to the whole thing? People in these comments whining about words like children without realizing action is what matters.
Do you know on january 17 1941 a naval battle between France and thai navy happened? When I dived south of koh Chang I found bombs at the bottom of the sea and nobody could tell me why those weapons were there. 4 years later a friend told me his father fighted with the french navy in Koh Chang aboard the french warship Amiral Charner. May be you will heard about if you ask. This a just an historical "apparté" about the beautiful place you are now. However this is the gulf of Thailand and I think never you will get really clear sea for snorkelling around the coast. Take care my friends!

Concerning the pandemic guess you’re better off in areas that there’s no confirmed cases.....speaking of which I agree with another follower (actually we just have the same information), with the virus you may not get any symptoms but be a carrier, so no one knows who has it when everyone around you is seemingly healthy and well BUT could give this virus to the ones that are vulnerable with weak lungs (like my husband) or a weak immune system. That’s why people are self isolating themselves, so as to not spread what they MAY have. (Make sense?). Oh, and thanks for showing the food.....very interesting. They way I saw the hamburger was that it was dry and not very tasty, but then.......I’m only 8700. miles away. Letting us know the amount of baht it cost is helpful too......I yell at Mike and say “hey, Paige and Chuck are on” and Mike says who?? Who’s that. Then realizes I’m speaking of you two. Great vid. Was at Koh Chang last week but had to cut the holiday short to avoid getting stranded in Thailand. Allready miss Koh Chang. Hopefully next year when things has settled down i can get back and maybe visit Koh Kood which seems totally nice and relaxed.

But don't you know everything on the internet is true haha. There is a lot of nice scenery there to look at. Spring rolls look good. It’s great to see you guys having a good time while half the world is under lockdown, they even have some of the beaches blocked off but we were able to walk down from a friends condo, like everyone else I’ll be glad when it’s all over, hopefully the measures being taken will keep it under control because the death rate for men over the age of 50 is crazy compared to the average flu and over the age of 60 with people that have preexisting conditions like Paige’s mom it’s not good at all. In my younger days, travelling to Thailand was about the sleazy vice. Now that I am older, quiet and chill is what I prefer. Island getaway looks great. Will be in my travel wishlist when this Covid has gone away.

Too many people are treating it like one and that scares the shit out of me because it means this will last longer and we ALL will be living like this for longer than we need to. The news always talks about anxious, panicked and fearful people but Im not seeing it. I suppose if we must “shelter in place” this is the best era to do that, right? I found out a while ago that a migraine attack, especially with the sparkling tunnels in your vision, can be cleared in a few minutes with a shot of neat Jack Daniels. Had an attack last week and still works!

Wanted to stay again in Ko chang etc but had to cancel! best follow advice and the spread will slow down quickly so we can hopefully get back to normality! The UK is becoming scary by the day ! As I am a key worker- Nursery Staff I have to go into work to look after children of other key workers we must do everything to help keep NHS staff, police and all other keyworkers working at tthis difficult time risking their lives for us so the country can function! Advice is stay at home and stop spread! Praying we will get through this difficult time!🙏🙏🙏❤ Please keep the vlogs coming its helping keeping me sane! 🙏😷😥❤❤❤🥰😘
Hi Chuck And Paige looks like a great day in Koh Kood .. we spent the day on the beaches in so cal ! sunny and you would not know there was even a semi lock down going on as the beach had many people on it . There was a correction in how many people they believe will be infected it dropped from 50-56 % which is what the governor of California stated yesterday but they now say more like 20-25 % which BTW is the same infection rate as a regular flu.. not to say that this one is not more lethal to some people with health issues or that are older... so now lets hear whats next... stay tuned. and i will stay in tune with your channel ... I would rather be in a remote Thailand island as well 😄 but we are quarantined in Europe🤔 I am not to concerned about myself or my husband, but I asked my mom not to leave her house as much as possible because she is in a risk group. For a simple flue it takes a month to recover for her 😑 and since our country is on a lockdown, we sit at home for the solidarity purposes... although I tryed to leave for Thailand 2 weeks ago 😅😅😅

Love your vids, have been watching for years but now your just being arrogant, people are dying, they are loosing their jobs. It may not be affecting you but a lot of people are experiencing hardship due to this situation, real threat or not I don't know but show some sympathy for Christ sake.

I,m in England and was thinking along the same mindset as you are , however it's getting pretty real now and my mindset has changed 180. I fear for the country area of Thailand once the bar girls all go home now the bars are closed . i do hope the weather in thailand can curtail the virus

My apologies if you explained this and I somehow missed it, but how long are you planning to stay on เกาะกูด? Will you ride it out there even if the virus takes months to get under control? Did you bring all your stuff with you? I'm in Bangkok and considering escape options myself.

I would rather be in a remote Thailand island as well 😄 but we are quarantined in Europe🤔 I am not to concerned about myself or my husband, but I asked my mom not to leave her house as much as possible because she is in a risk group. For a simple flue it takes a month to recover for her 😑 and since our country is on a lockdown, we sit at home for the solidarity purposes... although I tryed to leave for Thailand 2 weeks ago 😅😅😅

I wish I could do the same, I have a beachside condo down in Mae Pim -Rayong but I refrained from going. How I envy u , your vid made me wanna just pick up the key n drive - ahhh... imagine sitting by the beach read some books sipping sodas n chill for 3 weeks. Local migration restriction is still voluntary though but I need to stop this urge. Coz I could potentially b a spreader to a place where health system is less... prepared. 4 is for amateurs.... I have seen 6 crammed onto one of these. It's surprising the first time you see it, but if you spend anytime there, it's pretty common to see more than 3 people on a bike or scooter.

I'm thinking about coming to the island and enjoy too only because nobody there. I'm sure you saw the spring break in Florida , it was amazing how the kids did not care about the virus. I understand the paranoia because of Italy and what's going on everywhere including U.S.A. However, I'm like you , just try and use a lot of common sense , crowds and sanitize everything . ANY cooked bone is dangerous for animals to eat, when I was a vet-tech it amazed me at what it could do to their stomach and intestines, uncooked bones are fine (even chicken bones) they are soft and digestible

Koh Kood is paradise. We are all jealous. We are all locked up in our homes. Edmonton, New York etc isn’t paradise.
Pretty dog. The island looks very relaxing. Only problem: You're not practicing very good social distancing. My guess, though, is that you're more likely to die from a falling coconut than the Coronavirus. I might have missed it: cost per night for bungalow??
