Thanks, Anthony. This has many other applications than just replacing the color background. Anything that you can select and then intersect can produce better results. I tried darkening a sky in a nature shot and using just the sky select created a darker area next to the bottom of the sky. Intersecting and using a gradient produced a smoother transition. Lightroom just keeps getting better.

Hi Tony, many thanks for your videos. You are a great teacher, easy to follow and very accurate. I have Lightroom 6 and I'm quite reluctant to upgrade to new versions because they require subscription. I prefer my stand alone application. Could you please give me an advice on this matter? Hi Anthony, great video as always. The new masking tool works really well, but is it possible to sink an edited image, with masks, to other images? I get an AI message if I try to sync a sequence. Thanks.
