From children to adults, followers to leaders, pacifists to murderers. Whether we strive to survive or hunger to kill, every single one of us is human.
Yes, our skin and flesh are fragile, and our strength does not compare to the beings down here. But we make up for it with our incredible intelligence. And we have something that almost every entity down here doesn't have.
A soul.
We hold a miraculous item in our hearts that nothing else can experience. Even if they try to claw it out of us. Our souls make this species unique. It gives us courage. Bravery. Determination. It helps us feel. Not with physical interaction, but with emotion. We can love and hate. We can laugh or cry. And our species was given this gift to counteract the terror that we face.
That is the definition of a human.

Snake: ,,Colonel, I thought this place doesn't have any life forms! Who are they?!"
Colonel: ,,That's Entity 1, also known as the Human, Snake."
Snake: ,,Human??? And in what are they different from ours?"
Colonel: ,,Not much... in fact you are also one of them."
Snake: ,,What do you mean, I'm one of them?!"
Colonel: ,,They are humans from our world that got trapped in this endless maze just like you Snake."
Snake: ,,What??? How many are trapped here?!"
Colonel: ,,Alot, Snake. And some unfortunate souls will propably never see the real sun ever again."
Snake: ,,I better hope, that I might be ever see the sun again... are there any information that I don't know about those... humans in here yet."
Colonel: ,,They have different Goals and duties, but they have common addresses. One of the most common groups are the people called wanderers, they are no different from you in terms of survival. But some of them are mote prepared than others. The second common groups are the members of a Secret Organization called M.E.G."
Snake: ,,M.E.G. you say? And what are they doing outside of playing with their little guns?"
Colonel: ,,They are invested in professional Establishment and Documentaries. If you ask the members, they will answer all questions you need."
Snake: ,,Are you sure that I can trust them, and that they didn't turn completely mad while being trapped here?"
Colonel: ,,There is no reason to be blind in action. Just try to contact with one of the members and maybe it might help you."
Snake: ,,What about the Wanderers, wouldn't they know a little more about this place?"
Colonel: ,,I wouldn't bet on that, Snake... Some of them might have shady plans, so make a smart choice who you trust."
Snake: ugh... fine. I guess I need to contact with those Soldiers guarding the bases."
*Call closes in*

Here we go! The beginning to a great series! This already fits humans so well. Its ambitious, its clever, its passionate. I imagine that the marching drums symbolizes the force of the humans working together. Groups like MEG and other colonies teaming up. That drop at 1:29 really gives that feeling of a strong bond and the shared passion of the humans to escape, discover, and conquer the backrooms. I cant WAIT to see where these songs go from here!
Not to mention the main guy you modeled looks very similar to me IRL, haha!

I say this all the time, but MOTB is my favorite series on the channel, so I'm glad it's being continued in some way, even if it's a different style. The music is so good, sounds straight out of a movie, and the story in the description is awesome as always, and Gary Miller telling it is a great callback. I have high hopes for this series, and I can't wait to see what the future tracks are gonna be like.
Also, animation is great, and definitely a good update from the static icons the original series had. Makes a lot more sense for entities than levels, too.
scp fans argue about what's scp-001 but here we don't have that (or it's humans)
Maybe the true SCP-001 were the friends we made along the way

I love this track and what you did in the background of the video! I couldn't help but notice that at 2:56 the guy that runs past in the background is the same one from Th3 Sh4dy Gr3y. Surely this isn't just reusing models and instead tying in to some lore between the Dapper Husky music tracks?
