Bone thieves are actually extremely friendly to humans. They basically eat the human, break the old bones inside the human, then replace them with new bones, thus giving said human a new skeleton. After that, the bone thief regurgitates the human and the old bones are its meal.
EDIT, A YEAR LATER: Goodness gracious, I’ve gotten so many replies to this. My sheer stupidity a year ago was embarrassing. I AM WRONG.

It looks like the closest thing to an escape from the backrooms. I would have ran as fast as possible back down the tracks. Maybe a glitch where some abandoned mine in the middle of nowhere intersects with the backrooms.

At 1:19 if you jump out of the cart there is a 10% that’s not the back rooms if so a 3% you survive the fall. But hey, worth a shot ;)
