These Lego video games never fail to entertain. Sure, they may be for little kids, but only older tweens and teens can realize how good the scenery and music are. I always have loved these games, and play with my brother. I love Lego games, and other than seriousness and good graphics, there is always a bit of humor thrown in. Now that's what I call a game that everyone can play and still enjoy. Rating: 8.5/10.
I haven't played the game (although I might check them out after this) but these cut scenes are great. I love the little bits of humour thrown in there as well. If they made it into a proper movie and released it, even non-gamers would watch it I reckon.

I play both of them and I must say, I like LOTR movies more but Lego Hobbit is better game. Yes its only 2 movies but levels are better, more characters, better fast travel, horse and wargs creator. I already play this game for 23 hours. So Lego LOTR is good but levels are better in Lego Hobbit. So my answer to your question is: Lego Hobbit is uprgaded Lego LOTR. (sorry for bad english)

I didn't realize until I read the title that I was watching the LEGO version. Looked pretty much the same as the film to me, although maybe a bit less silly.
Add in the Battle of the Five Armies game on here when its out and you got yourself a normal sized movie of the whole short book that was initialy made for children if you dont wanna sit on your butt for more than 10 hours to get through the story in its entirety. (BUT THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT AS THE 3 MOVIES ARE SOOOO EPIC ANYWAY!!)
Funny thing is, this, and the running time of the cutscenes for part three is probably how long The Hobbit should be. One movie, just over two hours long.
What a shame! if only the lego company waited after the Battle of the Five Armies to be released, then they could've launched this lego game with the full hobbit story and it would've been more fun and longer.
