One of my absolute favourites! I splashed out for a huge 100ml quite a while ago. It was one of those fragrances which on first sniff, I wasn't too keen on. But I wore it for a whole day and it just won me over. The company I work for sells Le Labo, so you often get a lot of colleagues wearing various frags from their collection. The Noir is one of the few that really projects and I always get comments on, and will always comment on other people who are wearing it. You really get noticed in this! Its also very unisex - a male friend of mine layers this with Vanille 44. You dont need to enter me into the comp as I am very familiar with Le Labo and it wouldn't be fair since I get these at a discount already!
You explained this fragrance really well. You're absolutely right that the notes in this perfume seem to "fight" one another. I love the power and longevity of this juice. Tobacco, Fig, and Rose...YES! :)
I haven't tried the Noir as of yet. It's really hard for me to try Le LABO fragrances. You have actually peaked my interest in Tea Fragrances and I'm starting to love them. Yay giveaway! I can't get Le Labo where I live and I'm very curious about the line. I loooove tea for drinking it, and I also like tea as a note in perfume. I’ve never tried a tea scented fragrance before but I’ve always indulge myself in fragrance that have some of a woody natural and settle tobacco scents . Le Labo the Noir 29 seems to be something unique and in-depth as you described it has a tea with a mixture of Tobacco with fig and bergamot . There’s something about its complexity that pulls my interest so much, I’ve got to try it ! I too, live in Florida as well and living in the humidity and heat , it’s sometimes hard to find certain fragrances that can blend well in this type of climate . So I think with the tea it’s very settle , very comforting and relaxing so to have that sort of scent in a fragrance is absolutely wonderful .
Oooo this sounds lovely! I've never smelt any LeLabo perfumes, they're not easily accessible where I live. The only tea scent I've owned and worn is EA Green Tea. Thank you for the chance to sample some! 💮

Had a four hour layover in Dublin recently and much of it was spent sampling/discussing Le Labo fragrances with the reps. This was my favorite scent and I spent the remainder of my flight enjoying the way this developed.
I am absolutely in love with Rose 31 and the Aldehyde one! But I have yet to bite the bullet because it’s a lot of money. Determined to own them one day! Great review! I must try the Noir 29! I’m not a huge fan of fig but I do love tea
I'm a fan of vetiver/woody scents and am really intrigued by the combination of those notes with the freshness of bergamot and fig. And as a novice fragrance lover trying to expand her scent horizons, I'd LOVE to sample any of Le Labo's perfumes 😍😍😍
I'm always looking for a daytime fragrance that has the same amount of complexity as a night time. I love tea and am picky with it as I am with fragrance, First Flush Full Leaf for Darjeeling, Mangalam Assam....but yet to find a tea perfume that works for me (Zoologist Elephant came pretty close but my skin seemed to miss some of the tropical notes listed for it) and Noir 29 combined with fig and tobacco sounds really interesting. I first heard about Le Labo on your channel but yet to try, thanks for the review and giveaway.

Interesting review! The Noir is my second favorite scent from Le Labo but I do not own a bottle. I used to have a 1.5ml sample just like the one in the giveaway set. However I got so entranced by Patchouli 24 that I had to get that instead. So here's to hoping I can afford a bottle of The Noir in 2018, because it'll be hard living without it! I really love that it's so sweet but not in a sugary gourmand way. I guess that's part of the charm with the black tea note! PS. I live in Sweden, but I'm going to be in Florida, mostly Vero Beach and Orlando, starting Sunday 10th and until the 22nd of Dec. Any good fume shops I should check out? Might be in Fort Lauderdale and Miami one day each as well, not sure yet. :)

Tea & tobacco seems like a natural pairing, dried acidic leaves with a deep aroma but fig in there is something surprising but again a natural pairing with tea. Tea & fig newtons anyone? 😀 Bergamot is the note that seems out of place to me. So would love to smell that!

I actually have a sample vial of The Noir because when you stay at the ACE Hotel in NYC you get a card at check in to pick out a sample vial at the Le Labo next door! I was interested in your take because I haven't worn it lately as I remember it being much stronger than I like perfume (I have allergies and certain very heady or floral fragrances give me headaches). I may have also just put too much on thinking it would be a very tannic, light tea scent! Will give it a try again and would love to try their other top sellers--I also tried their Neroli which is nice.

The noir 29 is something I would love to try because I like 5 note in this fragrance. Sounds amazing. I have never tried the line before.
