It’s all the same to me bro. The only problem with this is it will be harder to authenticate pairs.
And that is why you should go UA aka replica route. Save your money and stick it to the damn resellers/bots!
@The Slim Reaper because when retros re release it’s considered a completely different shoe and is labeled by it year. This however is a restock when you go buy these on stockx and goat the 2017 and 2021 pair are grouped together when there are clear differences

The only major disappointment for me is the difference in shape, especially the heel. But as for the materials (specifically the suede), you gotta remember that they change with wear. I have an older pair as well and the suede V on the toebox used to look flat when I first got them, but these days it looks super hairy like the OG pair. Just something to consider.
I got mine from stock x and they shipped from the UK facility. My shoes have the manufacture date inside of 5/21 and are made in India but the box has the OG label on it. All the tags on the shoe match the numbers on the box and all the Yeezy day differences you pointed out are present on mine so just note that you may get the “OG” sticker style on the box if you’re are from Europe. This happens to me quite a bit as I’m a size 16 in yeezys and 15 in Jordan’s and most of what I buy on stock x comes from European stock x locations. Their tag system always appears to be different.

Great review. I know these are restocking next month but from watching the video, the 2021 pair looks more sleek, streamlined & it looks like they slim down the toe box. Is this accurate?. Let me know when you get a chance. Thanks
Mine came with the same ortholite insole from the 450s…. No complaints tho
I have the 2017 pair as well. I INSTANTLY noticed the difference on my 2021 pair from confirmed app! Adidas following suit with Nike and cheaping out on quality of materials.. 🤦🏽♂️
So the 2019 have better materials than the 2023?
2021 toe box blue and green looks more vibrant.
Just so you know the smoother suede is actually considered the better quality if you watch many reviews of other sneakers. Unless it is a huge part of the sneakers.
2021 is a more streamline look to make it look cleaner more sleek, but I like the og look too.
I still have my OG pair & always sold off my new re releases just to put towards other stuff I need.
Still got my 2017 Waves and from what I see they far superior to these quality wise unfortunately. Wanna double up but gotta find a ‘17 pair 😂
You didn't compare the insole, part that comes out. One has blue others don't. Is there a difference between 1st and 2nd release?
Do the orange ovals have 3m to them on the 2021 pair? Just got a pair off stockX and they don't have much 3m to them. But my OG's was way more noticeable. All under a flash of course..hoping I didn't get sent a fake..
Just got the 2022 version and I thought it was a rep tbh. My reps were hella close besides lace color and Oranges on the heel were a different shade more orange on the fake more peach on the real. Tongue also longer on OG and for it more snug on the new versions
I got both and couldn’t tell the difference in pairs. The suede feels just as plush on both. The heel indentation is a lil more noticeable on the OG pair tho
@mJUSTICEw you mentioned got both wondering how's fitment of them both? Hoping to purchase these 2021 go up 1/2 size and one day purchase the OG at a good price n probably go 1/2 size up also maybe your 2 cents be helpful.
Do the new ones come with that nice Ortholite insole? Or the cheap one that the 350s come with?
I got og pair crisp brand new from stock x years ago the only thing that was different was the upc

Thanks for the comparison. I have an OG pair and bought another pair from GOAT. The manufacturing differences made me think they were fakes since side by side there are some big differences.
The difference on the sizing it’s for different regions.. label with the big number it’s a US label

The “V”s are slightly different too... the back of the 21 version are so different that people might think they are reps. Nice vid tho ... I just ordered a new pair from StockX since my OG waves are pretty beat up I hope I don’t get the 21 version.
You definitely don’t want a 2017 pairs that’s been sitting in a box. Think about it. In another year they’ll be 5 years old. When a shoe is that old with out being worn you start risking sole separation. I’d rather have a new pair it will most definitely last longer if you plan on having it for years down the line.
@@Billycar1130 it's 5 years not 30 tho. 5 years hasn't been a problem for me I just got some rafs and everyone gets Jordans from 5 years back a lot
@@gfunk1386 5 years is fine but I really don’t trust anything older than that. 5 is my limit for how old I’ll buy a brand new sneaker. Now if it’s slightly used then maybe I’ll buy 5-10 years

I have a question! I have a very narrow foot & I’m TTS 10 in all Nike models. I have Yeezy 380 in size 10 and they fit almost perfect but the top of the toe box on the shoe kind of sits/rest on my big toe at the end kind of on top. Just enough to feel contact not enough to hurt. Should I get same size 10 in Yeezy 700 Wave Runner or go up half size to 10.5 ?
Get them true to size brother, I have the OGs and they are true to size for sure

Used to wear 13. Went up to a 14. Just a better fit for me bcuz I got wide feet

I had the ogs. I had a restock from 2019. None of them hold up good they get dirty really fast and crease pretty bad. Just wear them and enjoy them and don’t think about it too much 😎

The 2021 pair was made in India the other was made in China. I like the 2021 version better.
