People never seem to learn. Altering even a single aspect of the past can create ripple effects that last a lifetime.

    Hey, Livingston, great episode review!
With all of those men of science roles Russell Johnson got to play on _The Twilight Zone,_ no wonder Sherwood Schwartz chose him to play *The Professor* on _Gilligan's Island._

If I remember correctly, in the later remake of _The Twilight Zone_ there *is* an episode about trying to prevent JFK's demise.

Atmospheric episode with an excellent score by Jerry Goldsmith. You mentioned JFK. Stephen King also wrote an excellent novel, 11/22/63 concerning time travel and the protagonis's attempt to stop Kennedy's assassination. He may have been influenced by this episode although King's story is much more elaborate and was made into a goid 8-part miniseries.

Rod Serling did a movie called The Time Element about a gentleman who wakes up in the past at Pearl Harbor prior to the attack. I’d say it’s worth a watch.

I liked this one too. The young couple was sad though.

Dr. Who also used the trope of “Some things in time are fixed”. I do like the time travelling ones. Except the one with Buster Keaton! ❤️ from 🇨🇦
