It’s crazy how seeing the new Smash game suddenly makes these look ancient. Especially the ones that got replaced like Luigi’s and Donkey Kong’s. The final smashes also seem a lot quieter in this game.
My thoughts on each Final Smash: 1.Mario: It looks like an upgraded Fire Mario, which makes sense. 2.Luigi: Though the concept is funny, it barely makes any sense. 3.Peach: It will take brains NOT to wake up the opponents and have them steal your recovery peaches. 4.Bowser: I would have preferred something else, but Giga Bowser's alright. 5.Donkey Kong: Timing is very crucial when it comes to this Final Smash. 6.Diddy Kong: Alright, have a chimpanzee wearing a Nintendo cap go berserk with a barrel jetpack and launch peanuts and fulfill the audience with laughter. 7.Yoshi: Alright, a merge of two of his abilities in Super Mario World(Red for fireball spitting, and Blue for flying) 8.Wario: Transforms in Wario-Man form the Warioware games. Good thinking, but Wario, please hold in your flatulence if possible. 9.Link: Triforces are everything when it comes to Zelda related material. 10.Zelda/Sheik: Alrighty then. 11.Ganondorf: That's unsurprising for an antagonists. 12.Toon Link: Same as Link. 13.Samus: A powerful Laser is anything from an arm cannon, but this one is undeniably powerful. 14. Zero Suit Samus: Glad you put your power suit back on. It could have been even worse. 15.Pit: Alright, I suppose. 16.Ice Climbers: An Ice Mountain is clever since climbing them is all they ever do. 17. R.O.B.: This one ain't gonna fly. 18.Kirby: Cook Kirby. Great one. 19. Meta Knight: Know my power, and you will know how I got banned from Brawl tournaments. 20.King DeDeDe: An Army of Waddle Dees is very ordinary for a king, your chubbyness. 21.Olimar: Very relavent to Pikmin. 22.Fox: Landmaster! 23.Falco: Personally, I prefer the air! 24.Wolf: We're gonna have fun with this thing! 25. Captain Falcon: Come on, Blue Falcon! 26.Pikachu: Volt Tackle, maybe the Pichu in Melee has evolved into the Pikachu in Brawl. 27. Pokemon Trainer: Having all 3 of your Pokemon out at the same time performing their most powerful moves(Hydro Pump for Squirtle, Solarbeam for Ivysaur, and Fire Blast for Charizard) is clever thinking. Quick Question, did you, by any chance, release Charizard in Smash 4? Because if you did, that was one of the stupidest ideas any Pokemon Trainer could have, especially for a worthy Pokemon like Charizard. 28.Lucario: Watch some aura power from the reason Mewtwo's not in Brawl. 29. Jigglypuff: Get big, and then shrink. Purely irrelivent to Pokemon. 30. Marth: Very Very Fire Emblem~ish. 31. Ike: Great Aeither!!! Great Final Smash from one of the best Smash Bros. Characters! No wonder he fights for his friends! 32. Ness: PK, PK Everything. 33. Lucas: Even though his game is Japanese-exclusive [*coughs* Mother 3 *coughs*], He's loved both in Japan and Overseas. Also, PK Everything. 34.Mr. Game & Watch: Relavent to Game & Watch. 35. Snake: It's showtime.....NOT![I'm talking about Smash 4] 36. Sonic: Relavent to the Blue Blur's franchise.

I'm okay with "Super Sonic Style!" but I think "Here I'll show you!" is way more epic and I wonder why they change from "You're too slow!" to "Sonic Speed!"......... you're too slow was way better.

Idc what anyone thinks because its a bold-face lie- brawl easily had the best final smashes AND special effects in general. Yea there were some mediocre ones like DKs but thats so few and far in between and dks special effects still looked good regardless. The special effects, sound effects, and voice acting is what i really wish they would bring back in new smash games and its something that seems to be overlooked by many ppl that are too focused on "competitive" play because, the new special effects are so uninspired and look very cheap and the voice acting is horrible and so is the sound effects. Theres no immersion in these new games. The only immersion is focusing on your opponent and theres nothing to "wow" at about the games themselves. What happened to the hard hitting noise of ikes sword? What happened to making the game sound violent? What happened to making the game look like a movie and really draw you in. I could go on. Compare captain falcons and ikes final smash in brawl to ultimate. Its ass now. Enough said

The fun party factor of smash bros is why Brawl will always be my favorite. As you said the voice acting, sound effects, gameplay, etc. Were all top notch and I can agree. Never cared for competitive either and never will for Smash Bros.

Link’s final smash in Brawl and Sm4sh was just a way to say he HAD a final smash, not a final smash that actually referenced any of his games. Same with Luigi. His Brawl final smash was him dancing and an area around him slowing down, while they actually referenced Luigi’s Mansion with his Sm4sh and Ultimate final smash.

no, his Final Smash is called "The Negative Zone". it's literally all of Luigi's negative emotions building up and being releashed all at once. these negative emotions were surpressed by being overshadowed by Mario for so many years.
To be honest the final smash in brawl is better then ultimate in my opinion

dlricafort it's just that I was going g for something more awesome. Not tanks. I was thinking king that fox would like Jerome of his killer moves. I expected that out of wolf too. I just don't know about falco though.
