In my opinion, ballistic nylon is the best fabric. Super durable and always looks clean. Great choice for this bag

I really like this "pocket sling" trick)
I love the way the pockets are on the inner front and the different sizes and types available. Perfect size for me. Not a huge fan of the fabric but I haven't seen it in person yet
The exterior fabric definitely looks like aer bag. I am just going to wait for cpl24 with air mesh back panel
Bummer, this would be close to the perfect pack for me if it had an external water bottle pocket, like the CHZ22/26.
I think a memobottle in the large front pocket should work.
@@leonjehle8934 I have a 24oz Coleman FreeFlow that I love, so that wouldn’t really work out unless I want to take up internal space. Not really wanting to compromise with a smaller bottle just to switch bags. I’ll stick with my Synapse 25 for now!

@@JS-lu7jx Yeah, I know. I almost want a smaller version of the CTB35. I don’t really care for the side handle though, and I’ve come to realize I don’t think I want a clamshell for my EDC bag.
I hope they release this in signal blue or that punchy red they used back when the cpl24 was new

Kinda bummed about the material. 1680D really screams Aer (to me). Everything else looks well appointed though!
One of the things I liked from Evergoods was the materials they use, even if they collect pet hair. I like this bag, but I don't like that looks very AER by using 1680D Cordura Balistic Nylon.
@@BAlt-es1iw Evergoods should use their 420d on their mountain line on this bag to save some weight and look a bit sleeker. The 1680d just looks too rugged on a day pack and ruin the evergoods aesthetic and design philosophy.

@@tomchiu4170 Agree. I just bought the CTB 35 and the 420d is absolute perfect, sleek and strimedline. It would be nice if they used 420 in this new bag. Aer bags are nice and I have 3 from them. But I had evergoods on a higher level. Lets see what they can offer in the future.

Always wonder on these videos the bags that they keep behind them, that get a place on the wall. Take for example the light blue one on the right. Not being super well versed in all the bags, does make it hard to learn more about the interesting bags that make it onto the wall.

how much does it weigh while empty?
2 questions. Does it stand on its own and does the tablet compartment fits an ipad pro 11”?
It does stand on its own! An iPad Pro 11 will fit but it will be snug in the tablet sleeve. It will easily fit in the primary laptop sleeve.
