i think snare and bass drum is over powering the piece, and the melody could come out a little bit more. i played this for my middle school region orchestra concert. by far best piece i’ve ever played
I’ve played with many ensembles and encountered some directors that want the bass drum to really come out a lot. Not sure why
Flutes at the beginning sound amazing
Especially 2nd Chair!
As a Euphoniumist, they messed up the solo and it made me quite sad.
