Yep, apparently they showed up uninvited and Ed told Maurice Grosse he could make him famous in the US (or Hollywood, I can't remember which now) after he told them he didn't need their help. He literally told them to go away and not come back 😂😂
Yeah, I heard that. That's why The Conjuring 2 The Enfield Case is complete bullshit. It's one thing to make a fictional horror film, but then another to claim "based on a true story". Sadly, very few horror films depict "real" events like they claim, possibly only "The Exorcist", which WAS based on true events that happened in Georgetown in 1949, and "The Exorcism of Emily Rose", on events in Austria in 1976.
FINALLY, someone addresses this. The direct quotes from both former associates in the paranormal field and families they worked with have been directly quoted as saying they are con artists that are all about the clout and money that comes with it. I'll say that louder for the kids in the back: direct quotes can easily be found from people that worked for and with them since the early 70's. It's all info that is out there for research for any naysayer to double check on their own. Don't take our word for it, look it up, it's all out there. It's about time that this Ed and Lorraine stuff gets discussed intelligently. We HAVE to speak truthfully about the people we hold up in this space. These people made their name and a nice shiny penny or two off of the biggest grift there has ever been: the religious grift. None of this is to say that all of these things don't exist, it's just calling out tomfoolery when we can prove that as to not sully potential real concerns. Now, if only we'd do the same for the Anneliese Michel case. That poor woman wasn't "possessed," she was neglected and her downfall was religious psychosis exacerbated by mental illness.
Thank you. I'll have to read more. I'm a believer, and I'm noticing how so much of this has crept into the church as fact, which I've been aware of some places it's come from, but not these guys. I've got time to dig further these days and your comments help with that. Have a groovy day! xx
@@bunnymad5049 Great post. I feel a certain anger towards the directors and writers in these films, they can't of NOT know about these documented observations can they? I guess money is the motivator.. It also seems there was DV element in the Warren's relationship, which combined with all their case fabrications, leave's us with a bad taste in our mouths. (and not just from drinking the bathwater) I hate lies, and I hate it when bad people profit from lies.
So sad what this young woman went through. You are correct psychosis and mental illness were the cause along with starvation and stupidity. Horrible...
People can be just like religious fanatics about this stuff . They want to believe , so when you try to discuss it sensibly and rationally they perceive you as an enemy and go on the attack . Echoing other comments here , the Anneliese Michel case was an horrific episode ; not of possession , but of religious hysteria and abuse . I have made that same comment on other youtube videos , about the Michel case , and the vast majority of responses took the form of censure and rebuttal of my stance ; when , to me , it seems quite obvious that the poor girl was not possessed , but a mentally ill victim of abuse .
Ok, before I read the comments or watch the video, I have to step up to my honest opinion...( not that anyone cares, I just need to document this). I have never once believed a word out of her mouth. I believe he just saw a cash cow and ran with it. Together they lied their way into fame. Let's see what you think.
@@mrsgeek1, Dang, that was fast! All I can say, is after many years of helping people remove trouble ( paranormal in nature) from their homes, you tend to eye others who make that claim with caution. I think that's true of everyone...if you work in fast food, you watch others and judge them by your standards. So, everytime I saw them being raised up as such great whatever you want to call them, in my heart I knew they were lying. I turned 70 last August, which means I have done this for over 50 years. It is just hard on your soul. You have to protect yourself. But unlike now, I went with no gadgets except a Polaroid camera. That's why I love having these technologies explained because now, facts are facts. I had my feelings, my abilities and my faith. What made me stronger was the results. Now, if we can document positive results, then the truth can be seen by everyone. It will happen. I know what's out there but these fake folks push truth back into the shadows, everytime they open their mouths. I really love what you are doing. It's the light we all needed. I thank Shape for showing me what's possible. Then you, my across the pond people, thank you for everything. ❤
The Conjuring 2 shouldn't have been about Ed and Loraine Warren, it should have been about Maurice Grosse since he was the lead investigator of the Enfield haunting. It also annoyed me that they introduced that stupid Nun because it had nothing to do with the Enfield case.
Agreed , excellent film 👍🏻 did you watch the 3 part series with is it Timothy Spall as Maurice ? Was bloody brilliant, think it’s still on BBC I player .
@@spiritualanarchist8162 They could have made The Conjuring 2 about the people that actually investigated the Enfield case, it should have revolved around Maurice Grosse and Guy Lyon Playfair, not Ed and Lorraine Warren. Ed and Lorraine Warren literally had nothing to to with Enfield.
@@MattD402 Yes I know, but I mean Ed & Lorraine were rather (in)famous for popping up in certain locations and act as if they were important. And the Conjuring movies are about them. So Enfield was no exception. And nobody should take any horror movie too seriously. If it was a movie about Maurice, it would have been as ridiculous. Imagine him meeting the nun ! Now that would be even worse 😅
I enjoy the Conjuring movies but have to disassociate the Ed and Lorraine in the movies with the real Warrens. They were scam artists and not very pleasant people from the research I've done. Great video Beardo. Much love to you and Mrs Geek 🖤🖤
I met Ed and Lorraine Warren back in the 90's. I live in Connecticut as did the two of them, and they were travelling the state doing lectures. My sister and I went to one they did in our town. They brought pictures and slides (I hope some of you young people know what those are) of "evidence" they captured on their cases. Not a single one of those pictures or slides showed anything remotely regarded as actual evidence of the paranormal. Typical glitches with old style cameras but that's all. They were trying to pass off glitches and bad lighting, and in one case, what looked like cigarette smoke as paranormal. I left there really disappointed (at the time). What a couple of frauds they were. I am still pissed I spent money to go! LOL Thank you Beardo for exposing these two.
@@SamBorgman yup just like Cody & Satori using toe clicks as knocks. That trick is as old as dirt. The more things change, the more they stay the same...
I found documentation!!! And the author who wrote it! A newspaper reporter named Jill Amadio wrote an article in 1975 titled “Raggedy-Ann doll puts ‘hex’ on three” about Annabelle and the real nurses (found them too!) and the author let me interview her!! She’s still writing and doing interviews! Blew my mind!! 🤯 I still don’t believe Annabelle is a haunted doll but I don’t think the author of the article does either! Or the original owner! Love this episode!!! 🖤👻🖤
I don't need to support my opinion in this comment, you explained for me. Thank you ! I wrote a comment on another channel earlier this morning, espousing the reasons I have never believed the Warrens. I'm in my 50's, so I've had this opinion for a while, and it's not been well liked. People love to love the Warrens, without actually researching the backgrounds of their case's or the experiences of the families involved. These people weren't simply harmless entertainers. They were f#cking dangerous. They caused harm. Case in point, the Connecticut haunting. The boy needed help, not a fucking exorcism. They also literally spent ONE day with the Peron family at the "Conjuring" house, and left the family, particularly the mother, in a far worse state than when they arrived. Just listen to Andrea, one of the daughter's, telling her story. It sounds like there were mental health concerns there too. Not addressed, ignored for fame and money. That is NOT "good people". I'm really pleased you did this video. It's not being disrespectful. It's honest. What's disrespectful is people abusing the trust, and creating further trauma, in the lives of vulnerable people!
@tamsin1969 Did you happen to read an article with statements from one of the persons who actually did the investigation? I did but can't remember where I saw it (I too am in my 50's, at least for the next 8 months, and memories not what it used to be.)
I'm only 34 going on 35 years old and I started believing in the paranormal at an incredibly young age but...I'm also very logical. I know that the mind can play tricks like if I forget to fold my clothes and leave a pile of my washing on a chair or something I'll shat myself momentarily if I wake up and think I see someone "sitting" only to realize and mentally kick myself later. I've heard knocks and went "Oh...pipes...right...water heat." And Mental Illness is a first and foremost thing to think about when trying to decide what's going on when someone suddenly changes personality. I know for me it was Graves Disease...my thyroid went haywire and I was a hot mess...I'm guessing someone else might have thought possession... I didn't know who the Warren's were but I was also always a true crime junkie so when I heard about one of their cases I went digging...and then things unraveled from there.
Enjoyed the video. I have a few comments...information to add. Amityville - The Warrens were there one night, I believe. A night that was set up by a local news station. The photo of the "boy" is actually Paul Bartz, Ed & Lorraine's agent. Annabelle - in their first book, The Demonologists, quotes Ed Warran saying the doll was not possessed. It never was. It was just a tool used by the alleged demon. So there's no reason it needs to be kept in an easily breakable glass case. Snedeker Case - Lorainne claimed the funeral home employees engaged in necrophilia, not necromancy. Lorainne literally accused a longtime funeral home of criminal activity without a shred of evidence. This is in the book, In A Dark Place, when Lorraine was on the basement stairs and claimed to see an apparition that talked about "cold, firm bodies." I find this claim by Lorraine so freaking horrible...tarnishing the reputation of a person without a care for the consequences.
I’ve always despised the phrase “can’t/shouldn’t speak ill of the dead”, if they were horrible humans in the living I’m not going to sing their praises after they’re gone.
It's not like the dead care anymore. It's about their families. If you say stuff about the warrens, you do damage to their (potentially innocent) relatives.
@@leamael00 No, their horrible family member did the damage to their own family and others. Covering up abuse to protect the feelings of the family of the abuser is disgusting. You basically tell the victims, “he’s dead, get over it and worry about your abusers family now”.
In one of their books (I'm not sure at this point but it's probably Ghost Hunters) Ed tells how Lorrane was telepathically talking to Bigfoot. From the moment I read it, I had no doubts
My personal opinion is they were fake, perfect opportunity to become well known by being given a chance to be filmed investigating.. a bit like the idiots these days, being offered there own TV shows too. Again just my opinion 🤷🏽♀️ Thanks Beardo, much appreciated, much love to you both 🖤🥰
Yeah, everyone that regularly makes money doing paranormal things, are frauds. There is nothing to prove otherwise. Paranormal doesn't happen as you wish. Real incidents are rare. And definitely doesn't happen to UA-camrs lol
They're fake, I even called them fake when they were alive. The day I found out who they were, they were doing a 'supposed' reading on a haunted house. Nothing she or he did that is anything remotely like what a real reader/medium does. As this what Lorraine claimed. They looked at this place like it was a viewing for a really crap exhibit. They then just whipped out their bibles and started praying! I saw this footage when UA-cam was but a baby and probably no longer on here. Thanks Beardo.
Fully agree that they are frauds. But so are " mediums and readers ". So claiming that there fraud didn't match other frauds isn't exactly an argument.
I do think they were con artists, I first thought (when I was younger) they were real.. but now of course, having watched some of the stuff again, we were all taken for a ride. The Amitty case was fully faked, came out later re the lawyer ect. Good work @Beardo.
Really enjoyed this, i reckon content like this should be a semi regular thing, covering well known "hauntings" like borley rectory, enfield, battersea poltergeist etc, give us the backstory and your opinion.
I've read an article about them. Beardo is right, the Warrens seemingly were good actors, but they were as magical as a new hammer. Most if not all of their top cases were just stories, or exaggerated to make them look like the real-life Ghostbusters. I guess there were paranormal fakers before there was UA-cam after all. Great video! 😊👍
First!…Damn No I’m not 🤣 This was so well done Beardo! So sad that the most well known paranormal “experts” are just over glorified grifters. I actually met Lorraine Warren back in 2008 when I still believed in them and she seemed nice little old lady. Thank you for making this! Much love to you and Mrs Geek
Beardo, it’s such a relief to have you bring light to “is it real”! I am always so fascinated by the work you do, And we deserve to know the truth! For that, I thank you. I hope Mrs Geek is feeling better. Much Love, AvGeek Steve
I’m still sneezing about the place but I’m ok hahahaha. Can’t shift the cold, it’s about 12 weeks now on and off. Appreciate you as always, actually loved this topic for genuine opinions. Much love 🖤
Annabelle was in their museum in a glass box in a room with wooden floor boards and they'd tell people the doll would randomly move. That was also debunked cos the floor boards were loose so the doll was always moving at random times if people walked on the right two or three boards.
Great video Beardo not once I ever believed Ed and Lorraine were legit. Sad thing their son in law is making money off there so called haunted crap and especially the Annabella doll.
I’ve never believed in them, nor do I believe anything Andrea Peron says! She goes on and on about the haunting and that she’s still able to communicate somehow with those spirits! What a bunch of crap!! Thanks for the topic!! I’ve enjoyed listening to you and reading what others had to say! Take care, feel better Mrs Geek and anyone else feeling sick! Much Love! ✨💙✨🖤✨🧡✨
I’m so glad you covered this subject Beardo. The Warrens have always been so divisive within the paranormal community. It annoys me when some peoples only reference, in regards to them, is from the movie portrayals I heard the story some years ago about Judith Penney and that Ed had her dress up as the ” The Lady in White” and run through the Union Cemetery . Lorraine’s motivation may have been entrenched in her religious beliefs. But! Ed’s were purely monetary
Yes they are. I have not watched the video yet but the s*xual ass*ult Ed committed against his niece(allegedly sigh) should disqualify them off the rip!
Loved your take on Ed and Lorraine and exposing them with an added interesting fun fact about the twilight zone. I'll be sure to check that episode out! Also where is saraf these days? She's missed so so much!
13:00 for the first time ever, you just proved what I've always thought. Thank you again. Sorry I have no interest in doing my own investigation, so thank you.
You're more tactful than I am, Beardo. So for the record, my understanding was that Ed began a relationship with said minor when they were 15 years old. They lived with the Warrens for 40 years. Lorraine knew all about it.
I’m not surprised. In all of the scary stories by the warden, I’ve read they’re supposed to be about their investigations, there’s always an element of sexual perversion It might be as mild as a demon saying nasty things, but it is there and every single one of them. Ed was putting himself out there under everybody’s nose. I know some people have polyamorous lifestyles, but those people don’t generally insert something sexual into everything they do That’s not polyamory, that’s perversion
They were great storytellers, A couple that managed to create larger than life characters that went through extraordinarily horrible investigations. Bottom line is the evidence points clearly to the fact that that is what they were... just stories. But in the end that is really a sort of a tragedy because those stories and their work are actually the"foundation" for most of the teams creating "paranormal" content nowadays. And like them, in the end, the vast majority is just that... spinning stories to create "interesting" content.
I always felt they were fake, (that sounds so big-headed, but not meant like that! lol) so I appreciate the research you've done. I've seen a few good docs showing they're fake, but I know you'll have done a really good dive of facts I'll remember. Bunnies! You picked up on my new baby scampering around the lounge right now. 😉 The youngest son will love the facts about this, as he and his best friend love The Conjuring movies. They think they're comedy with the believability, but he'll love knowing facts. He's a fact boy. Love to you and Mrs G. xxx
Good video Beardo and I appreciate your research. There was also a documentary on Netflix about the Amityville story. In the documentary, Mr. Lutz’s stepson says that it was all faked for money. There were also some shows that I saw where Lorraine made an appearance, and I was never very impressed with anything she said because she really kept her statements vague
I've saidnit before and I'll.say it again..I'd insult that doll. I'd lick that doll and walk.away happy. If I die then at least o onow it was real. If I don't I was right about the Warren's. Win win situation lol
Thank you for putting this out there . I've always thought that they were fake . I've done research on my own as well and nothing they have ever done has been confirmed or proven to be real Bravo beardo👏
Much like @SparkyTuttle, I thought I’d share my thoughts about Ed and Loraine Warren before watching this video. I’ve always felt that Loraine probably did genuinely have a gift. Maybe it’s not to the degree that it’s always been portrayed, maybe it is that intense… I don’t know. But, if Ed told me the sky was blue, I’d have to go outside and see it for myself. I don’t believe he ever did a thing that wasn’t some sort of scam, and I believe he used his wife’s gift to enact said scams. I also believe that Loraine went along with it because he was her husband and things were very different within a marriage back then. They grew up during the times when women didn’t dare go against or challenge their husbands in any way. As a woman, you simply did what you were told and you didn’t question it. I don’t think she was necessarily scared of him or anything like that, I just think she did what was expected of her as a wife. Maybe I’m completely wrong and they’re both complete scammers, and she was just as much in on it as he was, if not more. I guess it’s time to find out.
They scammed everyone first before anyone else made it popular. That's the only reason people say they were the "last line of defence". They just made it up
Yeah never believed these two. I remember watching the original Amityville horror movie as a kid. It scared the crap out of me lol I was probably about 12. The last film to scare me tbh. Great video beardo. A very interesting insight.
@@mrsgeek1yeah but like Beardo says it's cos real paranormal activity seems to be way more subtle and rare than most of these UA-cam channels claim, if someone made a film about a real haunting it might not make much money I'm thinking. To me Beardo seems really honest and he says he has seen unexplainable things, but its not often. I think some people will say anything if it makes money.
So glad to hear more people discussing the reality of the Warrens. There is a Paranormal Witness Episode called "Suzy Doll" that is supposed to be a Warren Case, and I have always wondered if it was the show's creative re-interpretation of Annabelle. There are striking similarities, and I have never been able to to find anything at all on it except for the episode of Paranormal Witness.
One thing you missed is the group that actually investigated "The Conjuring" never invited Ed and Lorraine. One of their members went to a lecture given by Ed and Loraine and mentioned they had an investigation scheduled and that the Warrens might want to schedule their own, only to have the Warrens show up at this other groups investigation and try to take it over. I wish I could remember the groups name or the website I first learned about it from, but that was just before the movie was released and as I've gotten past 50yrs my memory has started going some (Wife claims it's because I keep stuffing more information in there.) I'll see if I can find the site and link it here or send to your email.
glad to see someone finally addressing them. i think their museum is good as it provides a place for people to send items that are haunted or that they don’t want because they think they’re haunted, whatever the case maybe! but other than that… they’re fake. the movies are great, but not real depictions of them
I knew who they were but not a lot about them, I had heard about Ed Warren getting hit but didn't know the details. I enjoyed this, hearing about old-school ghost hunters, was good. 💟
As always Beardo, interesting and well researched. Isn't it odd though that whatever so called paranormal movie is made, there's always small print which says "based on true events". I guess that if the true story was told the vast majority of viewers would turn off after the first half hour. Keep up the great work.
A very well narrated script... an amazing video made with great maturity... when i first read the title was kind of worried about how it will come out... but as always Beardo mate... it was a good one
well I thought they might not be what they claimed to be when Loraine showed up on shows like paranormal state which was proven to be completely fake and with Zac Bagans another phony and seeing her on shows about haunted furniture and other objects I kenew something was fishy
Yeah, I've always wondered if it was all true. I don't think it was. Btw, just found you, so glad I did. Keep doing what you do!! Loving your work, makes a refreshing change. xx
Welcome in Tanith, like you we wonder if it’s actually true, which is why beardo questions things. I’d love to find the ultimate unquestionable evidence of the paranormal. I know it’s real, I’ve experienced as has beardo. Never caught undeniable on camera though hahaha. Maybe one day!
I am so skeptical about Annabelle that I would happily go to bed tonight snuggling it. It’s a prop, a money making prop. I’m with you, they were frauds, I don’t think they set out to be but it went that way when they saw the fame and fortune to be had
I've always said I'd go to that museum. Open the case lick annabell say fu then leave. If I die I was wrong and I'm sorry. But chances are I'll live and win. Or die and still win because I'll have proved that demons are real lol
@@beardogetsscared The Warrens often told the story of a biker who supposedly swore at and otherwise disrespected the doll, who later was injured or killed (I think the "story" changed over time) in a motorcycle accident. I've got a massive amount of respect for you just from this video alone. Most of this I already knew with the exception of no records on Annabelle. I've been shouting from the rooftops to anyone that would listen that these two are frauds for quite some time now. You nailed it here! Amityville and the Perron's father (chef's kiss). Folks do NOT talk enough about how he wasn't impressed with the Warrens. The nail in the coffin for me was the faked evidence from Ed and his mistress. It only takes one fake to unravel the whole shtick. Can you imagine 30 years from now? Folks will be putting today's frauds on the same pedestal the Warrens are on now. It is maddening.
See I have mixed feeling about this couple. Yes, they definitely exaggerated and were not like thier movie counterparts, however it's because of them that the paranormal field has grown. One caveat - I do not agree with all they did, their character, or all people in the paranormal field.
Hey Beardo, I've looked into Ed and Lorain several times. From what I can understand, Loraine had some small ability to sense spirits but it was Ed who wanted to capitalise on it, and because he is a bully pushed her to fake/exaggerate what she was feeling and I also think she began to believe in these abilities. As they say, tell a lie often enough that it becomes the truth. Keep up the good work mate.

Suddenly the "devil" got his act together and stopped throwing a tantrum
I can imagine the amount of hate comments you're going to get over this but I have come to a similar conclusion that they are scam artists and made a career out of all this. I think what bothers me the most is Lorraine's pretending to be this wholesome religious woman...
Good work, Sir Bro-dude. (😂sorry) A bright light shines on this famous couple. As for respect for the dead, you were very kind. I have many deceased loved ones, and when we talk about them (or TO them), we don’t leave out the fact that sometimes they could be dumbasses or shitheads. Lol, we know and loved them thoughx 😢❤ my point is, just because someone is dead, doesn’t mean that they were perfect in life. We are all human (I think….) and the truth is always the best. Tell the whole story of those who have gone before. The good and the bad. Great video 👍🏽
I noticed a few times they got the spirits haunting places wrong....and claimed it was something else compared to the people or families who live through the actual haunting in their house...🙄
They were known to get the places wrong, too. Lorraine once claimed she could feel the evil from the "Amityville Horror" house, except it was a house several houses away from the "Amityville Horror" house.
6:07 -- Annabelle in the films has always disappointed me because I heard the real account that became popular because of reddit many years ago before the films were even created. Someone asked (title might be off as i don't remember the exact title) "What creepy experience have toy had that still haunts you to this day?" -- In which the nurse herself mentions the raggedy Anne doll her mum bought her, she stated how her at the time boyfriend really hated the doll and though it was creepy. They all noticed weird things would happen throughout the apparent and the doll would constantly move so they got in a psychic who ACTUALLY said "there is a spirit of a little girl here who is lost and cant find her way home" and was looking at the nurses for protection, she FOOLISHLY gave the doll as a vessel calling her "Annabelle" so no only would she have a body and be held but she now had a name. After that it escalated, the boyfriend would find pins and knifes under his pillow, he threw the doll out and it came back no one knowing he actually binned her, same night he claimed the doll was on him trying to strangle him so he left her. theres some more to it but not much more, the story they told in the films was nowhere near what was ACTUALLY stated by the woman who owned the doll.. of course when the Warrens went in(which was noted in the original story) they said it wasn't a child at all and infact was a demon, they did a cleansing and took the doll.
According to The Why? Files episode on the Warrens, Judith says she was offered money by the movie studio for her life story but no movie has been started yet.
I feel like ever since the pedophilia stuff came out, people should want to distance themselves from the whole Ed and Lorraine thing in movies but they keep using them lmao. Guess they're good cash cows.
See, again, I think they started out legit. I've followed all their cases. And Lorraine was really a sweet woman on Paranormal State. But their son Tony is just a fraud, milking his parents' name. Has anyone seen the channel TFIL? I'm fairly new to paranormal channels on UA-cam & I came across their channel. Apparently they'll plant a tree if you become a member, while also being ghost hunters.
@@just-a-cupcake I have, but the daughter watches for entertainment, she knows it’s not real paranormal. She’s 20 this month, and has always been interested in the paranormal. Thanks for this video Beardo. Its high time someone told the truth about these two. I did enjoy them when I first heard of them, and I thought at first they were the real thing. It seems the money and fame bug was more important than honesty. I wasn't crazy about Ed. I felt something off with him. 👋👋👋🙏🙏❣
People have been telling the truth about the Warrens for decades. The "true-believers" just don't want to believe the truth about them. (No disrespect to Beardo meant. It's good to have the real truth repeated.)
People have been calling out The Warrens for ages. Beardo didn't provide very much information that wasn't already widely know. (The only thing I wasn't aware of was that the mother in the Twilight Zone episode was name Annabelle. I've seen the episode and knew of the connection to the Warrens but I didn't remember that the mom's name was where they got the inspiration from.) I was hoping he was going to do a deep dive on them but he just gave surface level information that is easy to find. Perhaps he'll take the time to do an legitimate deep dive in a future video. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for that.
Bravo! I have my own personal thoughts and feelings about the Warrens, none of which are flattering to them. But I am extremely thankful to you for at least having some questions about their dealings and reputation.
I believe Lorraine was psychic but there's something about ED that always rubbed me the wrong way, couldn't put my finger on it until I did some reading. You are 100% on everything you said!
When paranormal tv shows became popular like ghost hunters, people on the shows started mentioning them as iconic. Now it’s just assumed they were famous. They weren’t. Stephen King made the Amityville story famous. The Warrens , specifically Ed, were selling the idea that Ed was called upon for difficult exorcisms by the Catholic Church. That they knew people in high places. That was their scheme. They were mocked and ridiculed for their claims. Now everyone thinks they were always popular due to the Sam and Colby’s and other you tubers like overnight, and paranormal files.
THANK YOU FOR THIS! This is why I love the internet and RECEIPTS. No one had the ability to do full research before. That doll being put in a box and the way it’s (shown) being handled has always made my face turn crooked. What a joke. I’ve watched videos on people touring their “hunted museum” 🤣🤣🤣 I love how the whole thing is based on AN ENTIRE ROOM OF HORRIBLY CURSD ITEMS but throw some water on your shirt and say a few words and you’re completely guarded from hundreds of items being able to enter your soul! 💀💀💀
Aside from that I watched the first Annabelle movie alone in my apartment at night in the dark and that movie petrified me, I had at the time 2 very young daughters and that movie scared me and I have yet to be able to watch it again. To put this in perspective I watched it alone shortly after it was released onto DVD, I haven't ever rewatched the first Annabelle.
I did believe in them when I was young but then after reading books and articles about the people and places I felt lied to. I wish they had been genuine investors because their names still carry weight in some circles. When I was told about Ed getting punched in the face I thought, “That sounds about right “. I enjoyed this and I hope you do more like this❣️ Love 💕 and hugs 🫂 to you, Mrs Geek and your family 🥰💙🌹
I attended a Halloween special they had years ago ...I bought tickets and me and my niece attended. They were very nice people and showed us a video they caught of the white lady in the cemetery.
Beardo, i just want to say thank you for these vids. I am always skeptical of paranormal vloggers, and its great to have someone who takes the time to go through them and let us watchers know which channels are worth watching. Anyone who sends hate because you've caught them out are deluded.
A lot has been fake it was a giant Cashcow specially with Amityville house but there is something strange Enfield haunting The 70s I know they did a little bit on this but I think that’s the most interesting and mysterious surrounding that place
I live 10 mins away from the Enfield haunting house. The warrens were told fuck off as far as I’m aware. They’re lying grifters.
LOL They were also told to buggar off from the Harrisville House (Conjuring House) infact, Ed was punched by the husband.
Yep, apparently they showed up uninvited and Ed told Maurice Grosse he could make him famous in the US (or Hollywood, I can't remember which now) after he told them he didn't need their help. He literally told them to go away and not come back 😂😂
@@ElaineBakerCreepyCaboodle that’s what I heard too lol 😂
@@karenshow1963 I wonder why he got punched.
🖤 thank you
I’m on the fence with it, but I do sway to your opinion more. We do also care and appreciate your opinion 😍🖤
Well put! Grifter the both of them.

@@SparkyTuttle 🖤
The Conjuring 2 shouldn't have been about Ed and Loraine Warren, it should have been about Maurice Grosse since he was the lead investigator of the Enfield haunting. It also annoyed me that they introduced that stupid Nun because it had nothing to do with the Enfield case.
Agreed , excellent film 👍🏻 did you watch the 3 part series with is it Timothy Spall as Maurice ? Was bloody brilliant, think it’s still on BBC I player .
@@TheyfoundRickGrimes Yeah I did watch that I really enjoyed it. Better than the Conjuring 2 in my opinion as it was more true to the case.
Well it's Hollywood. Would be a boring movie if it just showed E&L just visiting London, having a chat with the people in Enfield and going away 😉
LOL Thank you Beardo for exposing these two.
lol wow they literally laid the foundation for all the fake youtubers then. No one has invented any new fake paranormal since them. Amazing! 😂
@@SamBorgman yup just like Cody & Satori using toe clicks as knocks. That trick is as old as dirt. The more things change, the more they stay the same...
@@AlisonInCT1971wait theyre fake too…?! I really liked them :(.. So could you explain to me how that trick works? 😅
Well said, you're right, they just added fuel to the fire 🔥
@tamsin1969 Did you happen to read an article with statements from one of the persons who actually did the investigation? I did but can't remember where I saw it (I too am in my 50's, at least for the next 8 months, and memories not what it used to be.)
Supporters of the Warrens sound just as insane as Trump voters. And they flounder just as badly when you press them with the facts.
The more i look and the more I hear the darker it all is.
I’ve always despised the phrase “can’t/shouldn’t speak ill of the dead”, if they were horrible humans in the living I’m not going to sing their praises after they’re gone.
I think sometimes it's because that person or those persons cannot reply or defend themselves or tell their side of the story
Agree
@@mandalorianmama In Ed's case, Lorraine had a lot of time to defend him and she didn't. Especially when it came to the pedophile allegations.
I always found Lorain's smile as somewhat suggestive as if she was hiding something behind it.
As if she's thinking "I know something you don't know."
Zak Bagans is another Ed and Lorraine Warren.
Again just my opinion 🤷🏽♀️
Thanks Beardo, much appreciated, much love to you both 🖤🥰
🖤 thank Polly 😊
Right with you. You can put makeup on a pig but...damn, now I've insulted a pig, for that I'm sorry. For insulting them, I stand by every word.
That's the plan
I’m up for this
I've read an article about them. 😊👍

I’ve become a true fan of yours Beardo. Thanks for calling bullshit bullshit.
Annabelle was in their museum in a glass box in a room with wooden floor boards and they'd tell people the doll would randomly move. That was also debunked cos the floor boards were loose so the doll was always moving at random times if people walked on the right two or three boards.
I'm so glad you did this . This is among my top 3 debunks you've done. I've said they were charlatans for years!!! Thank you. You're awesome.

Andrea Peron, the Italian cyclist who rides for Novo Nordisk?
I’m so glad you covered this subject Beardo.
The Warrens have always been so divisive within the paranormal community.
It annoys me when some peoples only reference, in regards to them, is from the movie portrayals
I heard the story some years ago about Judith Penney and that Ed had her dress up as the ” The Lady in White” and run through the Union Cemetery .
😯
I’m not surprised.
In all of the scary stories by the warden, I’ve read they’re supposed to be about their investigations, there’s always an element of sexual perversion
It might be as mild as a demon saying nasty things, but it is there and every single one of them.
Ed was putting himself out there under everybody’s nose.
I know some people have polyamorous lifestyles, but those people don’t generally insert something sexual into everything they do
That’s not polyamory, that’s perversion
I am shocked 😮 I guess I fell for it I watch Tony Spara he is the son in law, they run the museum now and have conventions. Thank you Beardo ❤
🖤
Why not take the Anna Bell doll home and let her live there for a week Nothing bad will happen for sure
I've saidnit before and I'll.say it again..I'd insult that doll. I'd lick that doll and walk.away happy. If I die then at least o onow it was real. If I don't I was right about the Warren's. Win win situation lol
Thank you for putting this out there . I've always thought that they were fake . I've done research on my own as well and nothing they have ever done has been confirmed or proven to be real
Bravo beardo👏
As with all movies, based very loosely on true events. But why doesn’t anyone actually make a true movie based on real facts lol. I’d love that!
@@mrsgeek1 that would be a refreshing change.
I wish I could remember the groups name or the website I first learned about it from, but that was just before the movie was released and as I've gotten past 50yrs my memory has started going some (Wife claims it's because I keep stuffing more information in there.) I'll see if I can find the site and link it here or send to your email.
glad to see someone finally addressing them. i think their museum is good as it provides a place for people to send items that are haunted or that they don’t want because they think they’re haunted, whatever the case maybe! but other than that… they’re fake. the movies are great, but not real depictions of them
Great to see you looking into the Warren's 🤟
So glad you chose this subject…always thought they were full of bs, and back in the 70’s they were treated like big celebs🤮

I think there's 14 sequels of The Amityville Horror and it just went downhill after a few movies
See I have mixed feeling about this couple. Yes, they definitely exaggerated and were not like thier movie counterparts, however it's because of them that the paranormal field has grown. One caveat - I do not agree with all they did, their character, or all people in the paranormal field.
Me too! I’m half and half lol
The believer and the scammer. I think that combination made them so successful.
@@spiritualanarchist8162 Wasn't he suspected to be a narcissist? It's not uncommon for a narc to take advantage of someone who is insecure etc and basically 'run the show'.
@@wynngwynn Too be honest ,I think most performers have a bit of narcissism in them. I obviously never met them, and maybe she actually believed she was doing 'God's work' . And maybe Ed even convinced himself he was a real researcher But they sure did love the spotlights , the adoration and money . 🤔
I found you a few weeks ago when I got suggested a Mindseed debunking. I was PISSED because I was a Mindseed Stan. THEN I went and watch all your debunking on them & Colton reflected in the glass of that picture🤦 just DAMN! Don't care about the Crayola Kids (too loud & always seemed sus to me... JMO)
I so APPERICATE what & how you things Beardo and glad I didn't start spewing 💩💩at you because I was upset over things you PROVED were fake!! I am 💯% a believer in paranormal, spirts, ghost etc (My son & I have had several things happen over the yrs). Love to you Beardo & the Mrs!
You don't know how much I appreciate this video. They appear to have been not on the up and up. For a very long time there has been something that was unsaid about this couple. Finally truth is coming out about.
Also I like to say my friend Chad his wife grew up near the Amityville house never once they said about scary he was a drug addict and that's that !41 yrs later no activity so it was a joke
Before I even watch this.
They were frauds
For anybody who does not believe in the paranormal just get yourself a digital voice recorder and within a few hours you will get voices on playback responding to your questions. 💯🇯🇲🇬🇧👍
That's not proof
@@beardogetsscared don't get what you mean in a building in the middle of the countryside with no other buildings around at about 4:00 in the morning . First EVP a crystal clear ladies voice saying Graham what do want . Followed by me saying how old are you a crystal clear voice saying 39. Followed by myself saying can you copy me and the spirit did with 5 bangs.... Are tango on if you want but I get the feeling that you don't believe in the paranormal and probably don't believe in the near death experience neither but never mind we have to agree to disagree . But take it's easy . Respect 💯🇯🇲🇬🇧👍
I believe in the paranormal, but I think in this instance people are saying Ed and Lorraine’s work was not on the up and up.
The 1st time I heard of Lorain Warren, was her appearing on "Paranormal State" the 1st time I'd seen a supernatural show on UA-cam, I think they were only half an hour, but they were really good, and she seemed like a nice little old lady :P
Was only talking about this to my other half the other day! Ive been saying they were con artists for years!
I have never heard of them 😮
A documentary was made about the story of "The devil made me do it" so apparently the dad came home while they were doing an exorcism on the child, dad walks in while his son is spazing out and grabs him smacks him up the head sits him on the couch and says stop that shit. Suddenly the "devil" got his act together and stopped throwing a tantrum
The Snedekerrs didn't experience anything paranormal until they conveniently stopped paying rent
Totally agree with you. Theyre nothing but a sham. Just like someone else im thinking of.
You can only think of *_ONE_* ?
Yeah always thought they were a bit far fetched .. nice one beardo 🖤
That was a lovely video, this should be shown to the director and producer James Wan for a reality check.
I feel like ever since the pedophilia stuff came out, people should want to distance themselves from the whole Ed and Lorraine thing in movies but they keep using them lmao. Guess they're good cash cows.
Well done Beardo👍
See, again, I think they started out legit. I've followed all their cases. And Lorraine was really a sweet woman on Paranormal State. But their son Tony is just a fraud, milking his parents' name.
Has anyone seen the channel TFIL? I'm fairly new to paranormal channels on UA-cam & I came across their channel. Apparently they'll plant a tree if you become a member, while also being ghost hunters.
I think TFIL are linked to Sam and Colby, but don’t quote me, I have to ask my daughter as she has watched them all since she was small. 😅
@@mrsgeek1 OK, thanks!
I've never watched a Sam & Colby episode.
@@just-a-cupcake I have, but the daughter watches for entertainment, she knows it’s not real paranormal. She’s 20 this month, and has always been interested in the paranormal. Because she’s experienced it herself from small though, she knows what’s real and what isn’t. They are great entertainers (for teenagers mainly). TFIL do actually do a lot for charity though.
@mrsgeek1 That's good to know that they are legit charity wise!
Good investigation beardo 😊❤
Thank you for being brave enough to say what a lot of us are thinking about those two!!!!
This is a good video. You looked at this with an independent eye.You were being respectful to all parties. I do find that Sally doll very creepy.
Now I'm disappointed. I always thought, IF somebody's real, it had to be them 😞.
But, truly, thank you for bringing up this video!
Beardo, i just want to say thank you for these vids. I am always skeptical of paranormal vloggers, and its great to have someone who takes the time to go through them and let us watchers know which channels are worth watching. Anyone who sends hate because you've caught them out are deluded.
Do a follow up or part two on them and more of their shenanigans.
A local news station actually contacted and invited the Warrens to Amityville.
A lot has been fake it was a giant Cashcow specially with Amityville house
but there is something strange Enfield haunting The 70s I know they did a little bit on this but I think that’s the most interesting and mysterious surrounding that place
