Here is a SUPER sized volume containing all of the commercials from Super Bowl XVI in 1982. I'll be back tomorrow with another volume from the post game as well as a bonus!
This is a great treat thanks 🏈
Thanks!!
Exactly the commercials I would have been seeing with my family when we watched the game at our neighbors’ house in Vallejo, CA. I was 11 about to turn 12, & this was my first true sports party. Sure picked a good time to become a sports fan!❤️💛
& if you didn’t guess from this post, KPIX 5 is my hometown station😊
Campbell’s Soup- A boat is certainly one place I never would think to eat soup in. Also, it’s cute how the girl is wearing her grandfather’s cap at the end of this commercial.
Good fun - thank you!
9:04 - I know Bubba Smith played Football, but to me, he will always be Officer Hightower in Police Academy.
Peak Atari time. I would get mine in the fall. (I know some millennial will see this remark and look up Wikipedia and see that the Atari 5200 came out that year or whatever as if it is relevant, but the VCS/2600 would be the most popular into the next year even as the 5200 and the Intelli-vision came out.)
Those Miller Lite Beer commercials with athletes used to make hanging out in bars look harmless and cool and calm. The athletes then also appeared to be mature and level-headed guys.
2. GE- It way the man is trying to videotape his baby daughter riding a Carousel Horse at 2:02 looks awkward. Makes me wonder how the video recording turned out in the end.
8:04 - My fiancee and I are planning an Alaskan cruise for our honeymoon sometime next year after we get married August 30th.
Steven Hill in Sentry Insurance.
2:10 - Unless the kid was ready for this, this seems like it would be cruel.
Haven't visited a hotel in so long now. I used to like it but now I don't mind that I haven't.
Can’t wait to watch this compilation after my Orangetheory class =]
