I believe I may have found of those guys when I was in middle school exploring the bayou and it looked pretty old but healthy and what really stood out was the long neck and pointy mouth unfortunately we found him stuck we got him out and freed him near a lake by the almeda mall area. The lil guy reminded me of em 👍
I love to go for walks around the woods, and I try to walk everyday. However, I'm not usually looking for a specific animal. Instead, I just record a video if I happen upon something. It's amazing now much wildlife can been seen around us everyday when actually take the time to stop and look at it.
Hi I recently found a really small turtle just like this one at shore of the brazos river in Waco Texas I kept it and took it home bought some shrimp and it ate them very well I also bought a 20gallon tank is there anything else I should know about this turtle and the care it needs please let me know I would really appreciate the advice❤️
I have one of these for 5 years and Its doing amazing
I have never heard or seen a turtle with a soft shell, but he looks so squirmy and cute! 😊
Soft shell turtles can be pets
And the experience like:
“I raised him for years yet he still bite me”
They are very aggressive when you hold them
That is so.... Cool!!!! I've never seen anything like it... And that's here in Texas? In your area? You have to give us a tour to your sanctuary!!!

Near Windmill Lakes?
@@senseiinthewild3241 That's the place! Where the pier is away from the apartments
@@eastendedboi2722 I spent a lot of my childhood and teenage years exploring around those two lakes. Small world.
Well how about that who would've thought :o
They look like pancakes
I want to save the Softshell Turtle Family. Just joined the TSA Turtle Survival Association. 🐢
That’s awesome! I’m sure you’ll make a huge difference for them.
So cool. How many hours a week do you spend looking for wild stuff?
