Watch any other Vlog of Westerners visiting Thailand and 99% of them have zero interaction with the locals beyond a hello and thank you. Ellis and Alicia are real travelers. It takes some learning, effort and social skills to do this, that most people will avoid just due to laziness and anxiety, but Ellis and Alicia tackle it head on. Also, this town is ridiculous. No way everyone is going to smile and stop to talk to you in any town in the West like that, especially if you don't speak their language fluently - basically every person they encountered stopped to interact with them.

I see every time you meet Thai people, you are always humble and express in positive ways This makes Thai people love and you are always welcome.
