Great tutorial and clarity of explanation dude. I just downloaded the desktop app today and a lot was changed since you made this video in terms of the layout but I was still able to figure it out with your guidance.
Glad I watched this video. Was planning on going with Think or Swim but there's actually quite a bit I don't like about it for trading. Webull cleaned up the desktop. Something I think these platforms should offer is a margin lock option whereby you can either enable or disable the ability to buy or sell on margin which for me would give piece of mind for me to avoid inadvertently going short or long on borrowed money. If not for both then at least a lock on shorting a stock.

I understand what the orders menu thing is but be better to have a more clear idea and what to sort of look for. then on the graphs Im not sure what the tall bars are for? is that volume? can you add in lines also like what the floor is and what price resistance may be at. etc

what's opinion of webull execution speed in comparison to lightspeed. does it crash often and how easy and fast is it to retrieve data you need for day trading.
Webull is great for day trading as well, just use limit orders and no market orders. I havnt had issues with execution speed because I am trading on a 5 minute timeframe. If you trade volatile stocks on the 1 minute, it can be a little difficult that's for sure

Have you tried with the new software update? They've changed some stuff and some of the indicators are not showing up as default. I have to turn them on from the web browser app.
I figured it out, just have to access the new board option from the trade tab , click trade tab on the left then on your right you will see the plus sign at the top right corner

I set everything up and saved my board. However when i look for a stock and click on it, it goes back to the custom board.. what am I doing wrong?

It seems like you have a much larger platform and/or way more space on your screen. Some of the charts can't be shrunken any further on my end. lol
Just move them to the left or right up or down. It will make it so that you can scroll and be able to see everything.
you can also pan out screen with zoom to get more space

Thank you! Very simple, just go the settings at the bottom left (looks like a gear icon) . Then from there (general tab) you will see theme color

Lightspeed is a direct access broker. Significantly faster speeds.
