- My second Halloween doll is here! I made Coppélia the Automaton for the Haunted Circus Collab, hosted by @DiamondzaCraft ! She was a challenge, but I am absolutely in love with how she turned out.

Legs - These were altered from Poulpe en Ciel's MH Carrot Cut Trousers to be wider
Cuffs - self drafted
And the socks were Poulp en Ciel's MH Knee High Socks pattern

The way I gasped when I saw her glowing eye! I know the insert with the cogs is super cool, and it’s amazing but that glowing eye makes her look so creeeeepy! It’s so good!

Coppelia looks spooky and adorable and the concept of given her one eye and other showing the mechanisms looks really awesome it kinda show those broken animatronics you get in abandoned theme parks or malfunctions animatronics and the haunted circus theme for the collab kinda reminds of American horror story

Fun fact, Coppelia also got an opera adaptation, Les Contes de Hoffman, and Olympia's Doll Aria is one of those "standard' pieces singers like me will devote so much time and energy to.

I LOVE automatons, they're genuinely such fascinating and beautiful works of art that serve as a testament to mankind's ability to Create. my friend has an interest in automatons and took me down a rabbit hole where i became so enthralled by the topic that i watched an hour long documentary about their history and legacy that night lolol
all that to say that i absolutely love this doll, she's so darling and such a cool concept for a haunted circus collab. this is the first time i've seen your work but you're a very skilled artist! happy to have watched through the video!
Aww, thank you so much! 💖💖 And yeah, automatons and their history are fascinating. I wish I had the technological know-how (and the time, I was cutting it close to my deadline as it was 😅) to have made some sort of rig/stand that could have her make some sort of repeated movement. That would have been so cool. But ultimately I'm really happy with how she turned out and proud that I was able to bring the vision I had in my head to life. ☺️
I love Coppelia so much! One of the few MH dolls with inset eyes that don't look creepy to me haha. The "She's so lonely :(" at the end made me so sad so PLEASE do make her a brightly coloured friend to cheer her up haha. I hate clowns but I bet if you make one, I'd love them.

The possibilities are endless. You could do a round robin, each take a turn (draw from a hat?) picking a theme each New Year's Eve, have a year to plan and create, and a launch on the following New Year's Eve! You all collaborated beautifully. 🙂❤️

That hairstyle is so cute, your clothing craftsmanship is wonderful, and I LOVE how you did the inset elements of this face, it's so cool! The gear shell was genius! Curious, I read your description to check the supply list, and I just wanna confirm, is your glow powder the Blue Lit stuff from Stuart Semple's Culture Hustle site? That is some of the best glow powder I have ever seen, and it gives me so many ideas.

You were right at the beginning of the video when you said: "will I succeed or fail in creating the doll?" bravo! You failed. Hell! But the doll is so ugly...
I knew Coppélia was going to be kinda different and not to everyone's taste. And that's okay! I don't expect everyone to like every doll I customise. But I still enjoyed making her as it was a fun challenge. ☺️
