I am sitting here with my bread knife, uncapping one frame at a time, spinning three at a time, watching with envy, your professional operation. Nice Ian, real nice.🤓 Oh ya, I am out of boxes, too.😂
@@balazstoth7806Why not? We have to start somewhere.. I'm guessing you're on the same scale as Ian? Id love to see how you extract your honey and see your Apiary
You know, if you only have a few frames to do it’s way easier they way you do it because clean uptime is easy. The more equipment you have set up is longer and clean up is longer
Here in MN we have been getting quite a bit of smoke also, not as thick as yours. I was hoping you guys had enough rain this year we wouldn't have to put up with it again. Honey going into the separator looked on the thinner side ?? 19%
Do you have to try and dry out all that uncapped honey or is it already dry enough? I had a box this spring completely uncapped and I checked it and it was all 16 percent so in the spinner it went. Nice operation you have there.
So Ian, if the frames aren't capped doesn't that mean that the bees have not driven off the necessary moisture to bring a reading down to around 16-17 ? So really aren't you harvesting some honey (capped) with nectar and relying on blending the two together to yield a more desired refractometer moisture reading?
I live in Texas and just extracted 5 gallons of honey. A lot less than your operation. How do bee's survive the winter? What is the name of your company?

Those bees are gathering in what appears to be a nicely installed window!!!! Haha
You have the kids listening to the right style of 🎶music🎸 for getting work done.
Interesting operation, great job . It’s smoky here in north west Montana
Love the music the kids are listening to.
2nd that...beach boys all the way!
Love the choice of music!❤
I like your sound track!
You have a really good start!
Well done on having such a clean extraction room
Good times, what if you had a small escape board at the top of the window?

The smoke is burning my eyes .
Our canola is still ramping up however some fields are done blooming
Nice..... All the best for 2024 harvest season.
How did the super lift turn out? I love the bachelo lift clamp design. Mine worked very well for our season.
If smoke triggers bees to retreat to the hive and eat honey is the smoke on the horizon going to hinder your harvest from that alone?
not sure I understand how the bees are removed before honey processing? just stacking the boxes near a window will clear the boxes?

Perfect
Do you pick up a slight smoke flavor on the honey?
I miss tasting the honey in the bee yard from the top of the box as long don't get stung by the bee
Спасибо за фильм очень интересно и полезно.
3m respirator will also work for smoke. :)

I am surprised so many of the frame have few capped cells.
