I miss wood heat, it's good to take a break from the grind from time to time. I Hope it doesn't take long to get that part I'm looking forward see that old girl working the field. 😂(obviously summer) We had one from the mid to late 60's in the early 70's, I never drove ours but I remember watching my brothers and dad. Thanks Ian I look forward to see her doing what she was built for.👍😁
good day, why do your cows calve in the coldest time and not in spring when it gets milder again? I would be very interested to know? thank you very much
Nothing at all wrong with a lazy Sunday morning Ian, especially with a wood burning stove nearby to encourage such laziness! Here I may try a bit of Sunday morning laziness, once I shovel the snow from the driveway! -Bob...
When ready to start your refurbed engine may i politely suggest your turn it over without any spark attached, IE d/cap off or coil detached until you have oil pressure built up... Lovely project, with a deepfamily connection... 80bushel wheat...Talking to a friend of mine who farms on the south coast of UK below London, his best combining session last fall was 60 metric tons an hour, wheat...
We ran a Massey Harris 90 Special and a couple Massey Fergusons Super 92s when I was a kid. We thought we were big time when we got a JD 6600, used of course.
@@aCanadianBeekeepersBlogheck yah maybe expand that queen rearing operation and breed from non-treated hives if you can get your hands on some. maybe advertise a collective of non-treated overwintered hives from your area and bring them together and try to out breed these mites. perhaps requeen the whole operation from these new queens.
@@aCanadianBeekeepersBlog Exactly - it would be an intense workload build is to add such a major component to an operation. That's why there are people who just raise and sell queens or do nuc sales. Besides that you already have a Cow/calf operation, Grain operation and Honey operation with your brothers.
I hope to get to see that old boy in action , Love seeing old equipment restored to glory. God Bless Ian
