I always thought it was stupid to attempt to price virtual items that hold no value once the game dies. It’s like NFTs but infinitely worse.
$160 because of the A guardians heart emblem. Graduated high school in 2020 had to give my support to the medical workers because they worked there butts off. So that emblem is worth 150 and then I had a 10 dollar emblem. What I wish they would show is how much your account is worth based on how much money and time you put in, that would be cool.
My accounts real worth are the friends I made along the way.
I curious as to how the Spoils of Ishtar emblem is worth so much when its owned by .5% when Scientia Obscura is worth $250 when its owned by .05%
Spoils of Ishtar is a bungie promotion from the bungie store. You bought a VOG related item during the event period. The reason it's so pricey is because Bungie forgot to announce the promotion, and only announced it after the promotion ended. I also ended up getting it and only found out about it's rarity after people kept asking me about my emblem in LFG lol.
Does this site still show your rank? When I tried it the UI and layout looked different

Because they are earned in game, any emblems from codes, like from the bungie store after you buy something are the only ones that have value as the emblem codes can be sold

@@TaylorM2005still earned in game doesn’t matter if you paid to get carried through something, there is no value to it as you can’t buy the emblem on an external site so there’s no value, the way your account is being valued on this site is how much you could make for emblems that you used codes to get as the codes have value
@@liamjones1630 that’s a bad way to measure account worth though. My account is worth quite a bit but according to the emblem website it’s worth 10 bucks even though I have some of the rarest emblems in the game
Is the worth purely decided by emblems?
I guess not, I imagine a returning player having lost his old account could buy a new one with all the meta gear and exotics in order to beat the new raids and dungeons.
