Thank you so much for this tutorial Terri! I made some and it really worked well. Now I am wondering if I could use the Scan n Cut to facilitate the process. I have the new one that “talks” to the luminaire. Would you cut them out BEFORE stitching them or after on the final project? I also wanted to know how you would create one in My Design Center as it has more interesting shapes to choose from.
According to brother: if you look at the stitches the first one has a black line and a red line underneath and the next one has 3 black lines and a red line underneath. The red line is an underlay line. Technically the red line is not the stitch line so what we think as a double run is a single run with an underlay. But I agree with you. We need to have a single run with no underlay. Or the option to not use the underlay.
Thank you. Could you expand on this video a little and show how to send it to the scan n cut? I recently purchased a Solaris and I am not sure how all of this works. Thanks again for all of your instructions they are easier to watch than trying to find the topics in the on line manual. (I sure miss paper manuals).
Leah Geary - I recorded two videos this past week about file types and the scan n cut. I do not own the DX 225. I own the CW650. My 650 will not read the PHX file created on the Luminaire so I take it to my PE Design 11 software to send it directly to the scan n cut. If you own a Solaris and a DX 225 you want to apply the Applique Material Thread color in the Country or Embroidery Thread chart to the outline shown in the video I mentioned. Save the design to the USB stick and the DX 225 can read the file. If you have a DX125, you will need software (such as PE Design 11 or Palette 11that can read the PHX file). Open the software and IMPORT the PHX file. In PE Design 11, you can send directly to your Scan N Cut. In Palette 11, you would want to save as a PES file. Tell me your set up and I will see if I can help you.

Hopefully, Brother and Babylock get in tune with quilters who want a single running stitch.
Very good

Terri, thank you so much 😍 I really appreciate! Will try to make one asap 😉
How do you remove a stamp from My Design Center?
If you are referring to a saved stamp, your machine will recycle the memory area designated to save the stamps.
@@terrymaffitt4012 ok, thanks so much
Thank you would be fun to make
