Not optimising games and targetting native 1080p 30fps for medium as recommended is a massive red flag and I seriously hope other developers actually aren’t lazy unlike Capcom.
Textures and some settings doesn't work properly - especially textures seem auto adjust base on vram not your own settings, and there are too many thing else on going in this game that take up too much Vram
i played with 1660 2 days ago, i had the MINIMUM settings, had dlss on (if i remember correctly), but trust me it looked horrible, it was playable cause i overall had 30 sometimes even 40 fps, but i couldnt see the textures of my weapon, and monsters didnt look that good. Now, this beta is an old build of the game, not the current one so it may(let's pray) be improved by the time they release both the demo and the full game, so maybe even 1660 will be able to withstand it "decently" by then, but right now it's meeeh
i have a 1660 and it felt barley playable the only thing that made it decent was having my friends around, but they got recent upgrades and it was a shock that theyre game looks that good, but most textures could not load
@furuta_ yeah i feel you bro, as i said, textures were horrible, but at the end of the day there are 2 things that we can say. 1 sadly 1660 is under minimum requirements 2 the versione of the beta was not recent (cause it's the same beta that they used for the prev game shows or whatever they are called), developers yesterday wrote a twitter saying that the current version is far improved and optimized, and that polygon monsters were bugs of that build. At the end of the day we might even see minimum requirements goong down as february/march comes
This does not surprise me at all. MH World was also CPU bound when it came out. Later on modders found out that the game was running unnecessary stuff on the CPU and fixed the performance. I wonder if this is the same kind of situation. Such a shame...they did a really good job with Rise, even though they were constrained by the Switch hardware.
So from I've seen and played the real recommend is a 4070/6800xt/3080/7800xt and recommend CPU is probably like a 12600k/5800x or something for the demo......
Even my 4070s the game has shaders problem where it didn't load my map correctly and have many missing assets. Since it's beta I just accept it, at least the monster and chars are not missing, tho alma kinda disappear on camp sometimes with only her book appearing.😂 @Aegie
im really sad because this is definitely gonna effect the final player count on release in a large way, and this is one of my favorite franchises ever... I hope they can fix it
yo bro i decided not to get an rx 580 but the rx 5600xt i found for 100 bucks with a ryzen 5 3600 and im LOVING IT for a 300$ build ! i can play all my favorite games at 60 fps ultra. great upgrade from gt 1030 (quadro k620) level of preformance
As much as i think the performance can be very much improved and is very high bar for the specs it requires i will say i played on high settings (not the preset cuz it still has a few medium in high preset) with 3060Ti and R5 5600x and got like 30+ mostly staying 40+ fps with dlss on quality. I tried the fsr and FG which gave a much better performance with 70s as the min fps i got with it though it did have some ghosting issue which i heard the devs said they have improved it in the current version compared to what we get in beta as its probably like a few months old build. But mostly the ghosting was visible in the hub area where a lot of players were. While in fight i never really found a problem. However i ended up trying the lossless scaling FG with Dlss eventually since it was much better and was super smooth for me. Played for 23 hours and it was fun. This does not mean they should not optimize it. It still need a lot of optimization. Also the graphics are great imo. honestly this worked better than cyberpunk does for me.
I have an RX 6700xt and a Ryzen 5 5600, and honestly, the ghosting was too much for me, so I turned off FSR and decided to just play it on medium with 30fps. But then I realized that there was little to no difference in fps when I turned it up to ultra. For some reason, the game would just continue playing at 30 to 40 fps. It would sometimes dip into the low 20s, but it's not like it didn't do that in medium.
The bad news is that we already are getting competition with ‘Off the grid’ requiring a RTX 3060 for minimum and ‘ArcheAge Chronicles’ requiring a RTX 2070 super for minimum. Those games aren’t out yet but yikes…
Capcom seems to have forgotten that Monster Hunter is basically a fighting game and the controls need to be responsive. Frame Gen input lag basically makes the game unplayable.
There is just something in Japan water that makes people there consistently numb to atrocious performance issues like this one. It's been like this for decades. Their eyes just working in inconsistent 28 fps stutter free now
I don't think the final game is going to run well either due to RE Engine _really_ struggling to handle complex RPGs, but this is based on a very old build of the game that clearly hasn't had any optimization passes yet. So I doubt it'll be quite as catastrophic as what we have here
I don't think they gave the date of the build of the demo, so "very old build" can mean 1 month old. It's honestly hard to be optimistic for the official release... 😔.
Expected frame gen on Monster Hunter is make no sense , did developer play the game !? input lag is not a good choice , I perfer play at 30 fps rather than frame gen to 60fps = input lag.
60 dollars for game , 4k for a super computer to run it decently , but ye i dont have high hopes that it will get much better , the engine they are using is just not meant for big open worlds with a lot of stuff going on , good excuse to upgrade my 1080 atleast
Would be a good idea to try FMF2 too if it makes all that ghosting or not. I feel like its mostly better than ingame implementations of fsr. For example it works muuuuch better in Cyberpunk than FSR implementation.
Not sure how you got such frame drops with a 4090. Did you turn core isolation off in Windows? Something doesn't seem to be right. I have a 4080s and I was above or at 70fps for most of the time in 4k DLSS quality and everything on ultra.
I have never hated nvidia so much till now when they released the 3070 with just a shitty 8gb vram. Mine is absolutely really close to hitting its limits with just medium textures and all other settings at low or off and its hitting 7.6gb VRAM usage. Also my poor 8700 is dying lol(I am upgrading it next year tho)
How is the game running better on your setup than mine with a Ryzen 5 5700 and 6700XT? I'm using a 4k tv and I play full screen. Even when I set the res to 1080
This might be kind of a hot take, but I don't even really think this game looks that much better than Monster Hunter: World. Some of the textures look really good yes, but does not justify the terrible state this beta is in.
It will be interesting to see a Resident Evil open world game done in RE Engine, just to settle once and for all whether this a development team culture issue or the engine hitting a brick wall.
Looking at the additional notes tells us game developers are not skilled and they also say that they are expected to run at 60 fps means for the company standards, 60fps is high refresh rate And they think that this is the optimization at its best and they get a excuse that the game is in beta
I got 86 fps from 5600x and 7800xt at 1440p, FSR Quality (no frame gen) High preset. Is that actually good? I thought it would be much worse considering the bad optimization. With frame gen, i got 168 fps at least. Those are in desert very early beginning
Yikes, by the looks of it and from what I played, when this releases in February 2025, nothing will change in the performance department. Regrettably, I don't want to deal with the performance disaster that exists on DD2 again.
The sad part of all the benchmarking videos I've seen that no one has adressed: This beta test DIDN'T RUN DENUVO. I hope Capcom optimizes the hell out of the game cause if it keeps like this beta + that resource hog eating away... it ain't gonna be a pretty launch day.
Woah, the old build beta test for a game 4 months from release isn't yet optimized? I'm shocked. Better make a video bashing performance and saying its unacceptable
Exactly what I thought as well! I mean, at least hate the game when it is actually released rather than when you've only just played an obviously unoptimized old version of the game ffs. It's like trying to eat an uncooked food and saying that it tastes bad smh.

I am definitely buying the game because I always purposefully lock my Monster Hunter games to 30 FPS anyways, but this is not the kind of game I will be recommending to anyone.
I have that CPU and I would try getting a 2600 or 3600 to get the most out of your RX 6600.
The 1600 only paired well with my GTX 1060 and struggled to run my RTX 2060 that has similar performance to the RX 6600.
@@oswaldjh I bought the RX 6600 for it's low power draw and for GPU acceleration. This is not a gaming PC, I only ever play a few games.
Not quite, I bet both Dragon's Dogma 2 and Wild were developed around the same time, MHWilds probably since the end of Iceborne. It's too late for them to make a new engine they're unfamiliar with
@@BadEnd98 Game development involves lots of play testing. You'd hope game developers would realize how shitty the game ran from the get-go. Capcom also related these engine issues since RE7, where older architectures nearly imploded within the first open scene, they also deved MHR, which was equally taxing on Nintendo's CPU which led to... whatever those graphics are.
mhw iceborne better, very optimize
Its genuinely impressive how low the framerate is considering how garbage the game looks
Game looks absolutely awesome on ultra or high, but medium looks awful. That's just how it is.
@@gu3z185the game still looks like garbage on 4k ultra.....
I still can't believe in 2024 that native 1080p 60fps is hard to achieve with current gen gpu. We have been both f by nvidia and these gaming companies.
bruh, Alan Wake 2 look like you're watching a movie and perform better than this somehow, this game is atrociously bad optimized
But Alan wake is just a walking on a straight line simulator
@@emanuelriquelme1133 you think gpu and cpu cares what animation your character have in the game? Runing speed maybe increase LOD swap still pretty much nothing for modern engines and cpus.
We can compare it to rdr2 if you like. What would you say know buddy? Stop defending shitty looking unoptimized games
@@erisium6988 it actually does. Games should use new hardware to improve game mechanics rather than to avoid compiling shaders.
@@erisium6988 there are more going on than that, like the dev really trying to create a simulating living vivid openworld environment where animals interacts and hunt each other and many extreme weather changes affecting gameplay and the ecology too
This game made Forspoken, Starfield and Gollum look like well optimized while even those three games look better than this.
This game would never had this kind of critism if the performance target for ‘Recommended’ was native 1440p 60fps medium without FG at the very least.
Not optimising games and targetting native 1080p 30fps for medium as recommended is a massive red flag and I seriously hope other developers actually aren’t lazy unlike Capcom.
Is it just me or the game looks blurred and has bad textures. Im at ultra settings 1080p no upscaling with rx7700xt
Textures and some settings doesn't work properly - especially textures seem auto adjust base on vram not your own settings, and there are too many thing else on going in this game that take up too much Vram
@ but i have 12gb vram and my software reads the vram usage at 10gb
It probably has some sort of TAA always on that can't be turned off like in most games nowadays
What i would like to see is the 1650 or 1660 it depends what u have i know it will suck but how much interests me. As Always good video!
Death of the meme legend
i played with 1660 2 days ago, i had the MINIMUM settings, had dlss on (if i remember correctly), but trust me it looked horrible, it was playable cause i overall had 30 sometimes even 40 fps, but i couldnt see the textures of my weapon, and monsters didnt look that good.
1 sadly 1660 is under minimum requirements
2 the versione of the beta was not recent (cause it's the same beta that they used for the prev game shows or whatever they are called), developers yesterday wrote a twitter saying that the current version is far improved and optimized, and that polygon monsters were bugs of that build.
Whats the name of the mh world mod that fix the performance?
Capcom makes bangers. Then cripples them with crappy optimization and denuvo
So from I've seen and played the real recommend is a 4070/6800xt/3080/7800xt and recommend CPU is probably like a 12600k/5800x or something for the demo......
Holy cow
Its sad seeing my mighty 6800xt as recommended for this shitgame
Yep, and that's just to run it on 1080p 60fps. Not 1440p which these cards are usually for.
Even my 4070s the game has shaders problem where it didn't load my map correctly and have many missing assets. Since it's beta I just accept it, at least the monster and chars are not missing, tho alma kinda disappear on camp sometimes with only her book appearing.😂 @Aegie
@@serenity3157 that's terrible, hope they'll fix it in full version
im really sad because this is definitely gonna effect the final player count on release in a large way, and this is one of my favorite franchises ever... I hope they can fix it
Red dead 2 with a astonishing world and details everywhere realistic animations
And it worked on my rx 480 4vram
On high medium setting
With 60fps
I like how you say "bait-a"
best game to cook your pc and get 30fps for mid graphics
yo bro i decided not to get an rx 580 but the rx 5600xt i found for 100 bucks with a ryzen 5 3600 and im LOVING IT for a 300$ build ! i can play all my favorite games at 60 fps ultra. great upgrade from gt 1030 (quadro k620) level of preformance
ahhh I guess I'll play it in 10 years, maybe then a decent GPU will be able to run it smoothly
They recommend to play at 1080p with medium settings at less than 50 fps?
Please do a steamdeck in 2024 or asus rog ally (z1e) in 2024 video. Keep up the great vids ur the goat.❤
2. Video where im asking it.😂
Will do 🙂
@@zWORMzGaming thank u for the answer bud.❤❤ really appreciate u and ur content.
And I thought Jedi Survivor was bad
Japanese gamedev:
-great game
-terrible optimization
- 👺 interface
don't forget the ps3 graphics part
@@hani0 god of war 3 looked better
They should’ve waited for REX Engine. Capcom knew that the RE Engine wasn’t for open world game
Kinda ridiculous that this game is more CPU demanding than 128 player Battlefield maps
The 4060 and 6700 XT both failing to hit 40 FPS at 1080p medium is freaking depressing man...
Thanks for the video Kryzzpo! Good video today lol there all good.
Glad you enjoyed! Thank you 😃🥰
Peak optimisation 🔥🔥🔥🔥 (not at all)
I Love MH pls capcom don't mess this up, MH rise and World on PC were amazing experiences and ran great don't F it up.
great video. hope you can test Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered in this configuration. Game is way more CPU and GPU demanding than the original version
Another unoptimized title ❤
Crazy when you think about what Witcher 3 looked like back then with only using like 2-3GB of VRAM.
and they want me to preoder the game ? 🤦♂ Capcom what crack are you smoking bro ? the game looks like a PS3 game with bad graphics
i love how people are getting mad at a beta test in comments xD
The only thing we can do is not buy till they fix their mess. Problem is theres a lot of people that will pre order even if they recieve shat
Worst optimized game.
While since this is beta test. I hope they patch things out on launch
Dragons Ligma 2 got a performance patch so its not as bad now as it was on launch.
The only one, and I mean ONE studio that knows how to properly optimize for PC, and it's Nixxes. The state of this industry is depressing
Input lag matters a lot specially on Perfect Guard, Counter and Offset moves. I always miss those because of the input lag
But I heard the release version will have Denuvo, while the Beta doesn't. Is that true? Because if it is...
@@e-motep876 definitely it's older that the demo of TGS
60 frame play using FG is recommended for game that should be avoided at exact timing after watching monster's attacks.
They're crazy.
I had to double check if I was watching the video at 1440p
Expected frame gen on Monster Hunter is make no sense , did developer play the game !? input lag is not a good choice , I perfer play at 30 fps rather than frame gen to 60fps = input lag.
You should turn resizable bar on for that 4060 and SAM for the 6700. Probably help a little. Guessing you just missed it.
Yeah, I needed to reset the BIOS and forgot about that setting!
i dont understand people if the game is shity optimized just dont buy it and dont give free money to lazy devs until they fix their shity game
It requires a MONSTER gpu😂😂
60 dollars for game , 4k for a super computer to run it decently , but ye i dont have high hopes that it will get much better , the engine they are using is just not meant for big open worlds with a lot of stuff going on , good excuse to upgrade my 1080 atleast
Here I notice that they do not care about the user's enjoyment, they just released an unfinished product.
RE engine should be just that an Engine for RE games. it looks shit for the resources it needs to even hit 30.
What a disaster. Just makes you depressed looking at it.
"Shall we?"
And I start to get nervous
I was debating on building a PC just for this game, but for the cost of it, I'd rather build a house!
You can run High textures. Try out the dlss3-to-fsr3 frame gen mod. Ran at 60-100+ fps for me on a 3070/5600X
It’s just this game, 8gb is fine in most games
How is the game running better on your setup than mine with a Ryzen 5 5700 and 6700XT?
I'm using a 4k tv and I play full screen. Even when I set the res to 1080
This might be kind of a hot take, but I don't even really think this game looks that much better than Monster Hunter: World. Some of the textures look really good yes, but does not justify the terrible state this beta is in.
Aww, no more videos on it? Dang. I was hoping for a Minimum Requirements video. Could use a good laugh. :P
hi, do you buy the graphics cards your self or the brands send out some to you to benchmark it?
It will be interesting to see a Resident Evil open world game done in RE Engine, just to settle once and for all whether this a development team culture issue or the engine hitting a brick wall.
what are these people using NASA PC?
Looking at the additional notes tells us game developers are not skilled and they also say that they are expected to run at 60 fps means for the company standards, 60fps is high refresh rate And they think that this is the optimization at its best and they get a excuse that the game is in beta
PUMPING OUT THE VIDEOS
You are on green Screen 👍
😎 Put the shades on one time to see how it looks.
Come on!
Another banger optimalization. Just dont buy it guys. Its that simple.
I got 86 fps from 5600x and 7800xt at 1440p, FSR Quality (no frame gen) High preset. Is that actually good? I thought it would be much worse considering the bad optimization.
With frame gen, i got 168 fps at least. Those are in desert very early beginning
Hey
Can you test dragon age 4 too ?
That game is a very poor optimized one too 😂
Yeah, I'll test it in a couple of days 🙂
@@zWORMzGamingthe game actually runs pretty well from what I've seen and tested, honestly interested in seeing how older hardware does.
Yikes, by the looks of it and from what I played, when this releases in February 2025, nothing will change in the performance department. Regrettably, I don't want to deal with the performance disaster that exists on DD2 again.
The sad part of all the benchmarking videos I've seen that no one has adressed:
This beta test DIDN'T RUN DENUVO.
I feel like most the comments here are from people who think this is the release and have no interest in monster hunter that are addicted to complaining.
how is ps5 going to run it i mean rtx 4060 is more powerful than ps5s gpu.
i like how 9th gen consoles were 4k 60 fps advertised and current gen games are running upscaled to 1080 and not a locked 60 fps.
Its just a beta, the real game will obviously run on a Pentium III with software mode!
