Ok, so THIS is my favourite Opeth song. Because this one defines this whole genre. I had to cover this appropriately, so I gathered all the resources I could find (which are not many). The tabs that I've seen are not excellent, so I didn't even bother learning from them.

Mind the switch at 7:07. From the main source I could see that Mikael and Peter are switching the left and right tracks. I aligned the tracks correctly in the audio, but the video positions are unaffected.

It is a brilliant album. Burden always stuck out to me on that album with it's ballad like epic sound, and then the crazy detuning at the end. Always wanted to be able to play those really nice bluesy solos.

Hi Max, sorry but I can't find any other way to contact you. I have a new Kemper Rack arriving this Weds and was wondering how you still like yours etc...? Any suggestions? Are you using any additional profiles with these video's or are they pretty much stock ones that come with the Kemper. I was also looking at the new Neural Quad Cortex but decided on the Kemper as the proven technology at this point. Are you still happy you own it? One other thing if you don't mind? How are you connecting your Kemper to your Focusrite interface? Thanks for your time Max!

I've honestly deleted all the stock profiles (you can reload them with the Rig Manager at any point tho) and bought some of Michael Britt's profiles. The Diezel profile was free from the community store, though. It didn't sound very good at first, so you see that you can tweak the sounds a lot of with modifiers and stomps. I'm connecting the Kemper with XLR to the interface direct.

Hello, I'm trying to play this song. In verse section 3:14, it seems like your hand position and the tab don't match. Is there a mistake? Great cover btw :)
Hey Merve, thanks! If you mean the middle finger, it is not fretted. It’s just hanging there and a barre-chord is being played. The lead guitar only plays the chords without the added third. You can definitely resort to the tabs, I played it just like it is displayed on the tabs. Hope that helps 🤘🏼
