I love how he can go from acoustic folky stuff, avant garde metal insanity, really ambient haunting sounds, and then completely melt your face off if he wants to. One of my favorite players on earth for sure! Amazing song
I used to listen to this sound a lot during the worst phases of my life between 2015-2018 and 2020-2021... it gave me goosebumps, sometimes it made me cry, but it always helped me as a form of catharsis for the problems of the time. Nowadays, coming back here and listening again I still get emotional, but no longer with sadness or lack of hope, I still get a lot of goosebumps, but I feel much stronger for having endured all that alone and VERY proud to be alive to be able to listen to this masterpice again. Definitely an intimate sound for me.
I can definitely relate. Sometimes I come back to a playlists I made of mostly his music and when I scroll down to the comments I see that I myself left a comment that I completely forgot about, a lot of them encapsulate how I felt when I left said comments. It’s such a bittersweet feeling.

I think Buckethead is one of the most talented musicians of today. Not a single word (except Frozen Brains Tell No Tales) and his music conveys more emotion than just about every single other artists' works. I just wish there were more musicians like Buckethead.
Perhaps you should look beyond the surface and realize that anyone who has the courage and perseverance to go through what he has gone through and make something out of his life is worth looking up to especially in a society where difference ostracizes you .
