@Amy Quinn 6 is a great score, don't be too disheartened, It's probably the hardest quiz i have created yet to date. Yeah, 'Thick as Thieves' with John Thaw and Bob Hoskins also piqued my interest when i came across it, with that pairing it surely has to be a winner. Onto the 80's next. Just three for me, but I should have got four. Failed to get the "Paddington Bear" theme, which I'm REALLY annoyed about, because I used to watch it all the time in childhood, and I have all the Paddington books too! So that was a shocking miss for me, that one. The three I got were all within the first four.
Only 4 lol 1973 to 1978 within these walls set in an east London women's prison. Adapted by Grundy tv in Oz and became PRISONER CELL BLOCK H. Within contained such actors as Floella Benjamin, Pat St Clement, Helen Worth and Joan Hickson aka miss Marple in the 80s bbc box set. All four played inmates.
I saw the first episode of Within These Walls as a kid,plus several a few subsequent ones,but I couldn't think of it though the theme sounded familiar. I thought that was on ITV not the BBC but perhaps I'm wrong. I started off OK by getting 8 of the first 14 right,though I kicked myself for messing up the New Avengers (with the familar theme from the original Avengers) which we watched a lot of at the time,and also Paddington. I think I did well to remember Callan with that swinging lightbulb in front of the brick wall in the dark,but didn't get a single one to add to my score after question 14 (Dixon of Dock Green)!
