I know what she went through, because I put my family through the same! Just know Mrs. Eden, it was the drugs, not your son, who did those things! Your story is saving lives! It's a shame that in this situation, Barbara Eden is but one more parent/relative out there who has suffered from the addition and loss of a loved one to drugs. The substance abuse epidemic today is part of a wider set of social ills that need to be addressed with a hands-on approach, greater community/cultural cohesiveness, and just anything that will help on an individual or family basis. My only child, age 17 commited suicide almost 30 years ago because of addictive behavior...even though planning a life with a fiance' with aspirations, dreams, and hopes..
