Becky Dennis, I was just thinking the same thing about Philadelphia!!! Scoop and run is the name of the game. @@gulvetannehill2842... Having your vehicle repossessed is quite an inconvenience... but losing your phone charger in the process can REALLY DISRUPT YOUR LIFE. Some repo men understand this, and actually do have a heart. True, he's there to do a job, and would prefer not to waste any time about it... but that doesn't mean he can't at least try to be a decent human being. All in all... I think most repo men can only WISH that all debtors would react/behave the way she did under the circumstances.
The loan for the vehicle was in default. She may have been driving the vehicle ;but, she was not on the note. She surrendered the keys & saved , $300+ of a locksmith's fees. I had some financial issues a few years ago and a gentleman came to collect the car. I was polite and courteous and so was he. To be honest, I couldn't afford the car any more and I was wracking my brain about how to get the car back to the dealer in Michigan. I was in another state. Therefore, it was with relief and gratitude that I was able to give the gentleman the keys, thank him for his help and send him on his way with well wishes!😊
Not sure if what I just watched matched with the description for the video. I never heard the woman say anything that remotely sounded like everyone owed her something. From what I heard in the video, she sounded like she was going through a divorce and her ex was responsible for making the payments. She did make a comment like "can you just leave the vehicle and say you did not get it?" THAT is still nothing like the description indicates. The woman was actually VERY cooperative and even gave the keys to the guy. What I wanna see is how the repo guy deals with a man that stops him from doing a repo or is it only women he repo's from?
agreed. bad title and cooperative woman given the circumstances. asking you to leave the vehicle is normal reaction as part of her way of coping with the denial that it was actually happening.

+Awesome Bent My feeling sorry for her has nothing to do with her looks. I tried to listen close as she talked to her bf/husband as she asked him what was up with the payments. Seemed she was legitimately unaware of those unpaid installments. Just her bad luck the repo guy caught up with her instead of him. She's feeling the full brunt of the embarrassment infront of her neighbors. I do see your point on the other hand.
I agree. Everything was done as well as could be by both parties given the circumstances. I was a banker and early in my career I had to repo cars from time to time. It often goes much worse.
I agree with that. She also dealt with the situation very well. And reponut, try not to take so much pride from taking people's belongings. Even the rich can fall on hard times
Shit happens, they couldn't make the payments. She handled it well and so did you. It's a shame but you do have to pay for thing you buy on time. It's sometimes easy to get in over your head.
Don't know why people give two shits about how steady the camera is, this isn't some damn movie, and no1 is concerned with a steady angle while dealing with that shit...... but damn witty comment tho, thumbs up for that lol
Agreed. I watched it to the end to see if maybe the wife lost it.... She seemed to deal with it about as best as she could. Probably did not know the hubby was behind on payments. Who knows? The video did not match the title in my opinion. I feel a bit dirty for feeling disappointed.....
It just looks like a beautiful woman heartbroken that she’s losing her Jeep. Stuff happens in life, yes she’s got a nice house but this world will chew you up and spit you out.
Letting the kid know he was taking her mommy's car was sick - absolutely sick. Kids take things like this worse than adults which is why we need to protect them from shites like this ever interacting with a child again. Children have killed themselves out of fears that their homes are being repossessed, this is something for adults to deal with - and it's hard, very hard on the adults because most - not all are in this situation because they have gone through a lot of troubling times to get to this point - but to scare a child like that was disgusting - at this point I would have decked him - not for the vehicle going away but for putting my child into a situation where she feared for her parents, feared for her home and feared for what was happening to her family.
Her mother's wheels were getting taken away for a bit. You act like he ran in the house threatening to take everything they own. He was calm and did a good job and the woman responded appropriately. Chill the fuck out.
michiganriverman No - you know nothing about kids - he didn't need to tell the kid he was taking her mothers car - scaremonger the adults if you want but don't fucking scaremonger the children who will be worried enough - chill out - I am chilled out, you wouldn't like to see me when I'm angry about shits scaring children deliberately to make a point - there was no need for the child to be scared about this man taking her mommy's car away but he made sure she knew it - fucker. Now I'm slightly annoyed.
michiganriverman I was raped as a child by a neighbour of an aunt, I had a mother who used a dog lead on me and I still have the scars on my back. It is never ever about "if this is the worst thing that can happen to this child she should think herself lucky" - what a fucking stupid retort - what are you saying she's lucky he just scared her instead of raping her - just what the fuck are you saying.... no child should be scared in anyway by adults - full stop. So she's lucky she wasn't raped - he just scared her, she's lucky she doesn't go to school everyday and be bullied into committing suicide - he just scared her a wee bit - do you have a computer the police should be confiscating if you think "she was lucky just to be mentally hurt".
There's one question I'd like answered, is it a law that you have to tell them you're repoing their vehicle? Or do you do this to be courteous?? Enjoyed the video, you were very professional! ✌
NO - NOT a law. a REPO company has no obligation to notify the debtor ... MOST cases a repo company will NOT notify the debtor - as "notifying them gives the debtor time to move the property or BLOCK it in "
Its a courtesy on our part not many drivers can make contact like I did back then. These days we get to be more careful about any interaction with the debtor.
He has got to be the most polite and courteous repo agent I have ever seen. Wasn't nasty with her, allowed her the chance to get things if needed, even tried to keep them from getting charged for making a key. That is how it should be...respectful. Unlike the assclown who thought it was ok to keep driving a vehicle that wasn't being paid for and letting someone else deal with the consequences of their actions.
@@RepoNut yep...don;t disagree at all. I used to work for Nissan finance HQ many years ago, and we had one repo driver who was top rated because he was like this guy. Polite, courteous, respectful, treated people like people and not a paycheck. Well, we had one guy that was almost 6 months behind on his $55000 car payment....but he was being an asshat. Always hid his car, or blocked it in thinking he was safe. Well...we had enough of his crap. The next time our drive saw his car, it was parked up close to his garage, and had a Ford F150 parked behind it, and had a 4-foot retaining wall on the other side. He thought he was safe. I told the driver (with the approval of my manager) that if that was how he wanted to play....fine. Pull it out sideways and haul it. so that's EXACTLY what he did. Pulled you next to it, forks under the entire drivers side, and he ripped that bitch out! Asshat came out screaming at my guy, waving a baseball bat around....driver didn't care. Hooked it up correctly and drove off telling him to have a good evening. Then the asshat calls the next day saying how unfair it was and how disrespected he had been to have his car pulled out that way just because he "forgot" to make a few payments. Thankfully, I got the call....I just asked him how he forgot to make 6 payments on his car, when he should be reminded he had a car payment every time he turned the key of that vehicle. Best thing was when the car went to auction, it sold for less than the value because the frame was a little bent because of the recovery....well, he called again....and I got him again. He screamed that there was no way he was paying for the bill when the vehicle was damaged. I just reminded him again why it was in that condition to begin with. Moral of the tale: Pay your bills on time. Every choice has a consequence.
She had her child open the door. She knew it was the repo guy. She knew but wanted to act like a dumb blonde. If she didn't know then she's a stupid woman letting a man take care of her. Beauty fades dumb is forever.

I believe they also accused him of damaging the backup camera or something. This couple is a real piece of work.
Make the payments instead of excuses.
I'll tell you what in Detroit Michigan, they grab the vehicle and run! You go knock on someone's door and that goes sideways real fast.
@chusic chusic I I have a friend who was a prison guard and repoed cars in Detroit on the weekends and he said they have to be armed and he had some pretty scary experiences but the money is great
Becky, I've never lost a repo,,ain't no time for games or conversations
Yes I used to live there, lol leave fast or get shot at
Becky Dennis, I was just thinking the same thing about Philadelphia!!! Scoop and run is the name of the game. I don’t mind so much about the kid answering the door because they do need to learn how to. She should have closed the door when she went to get her mother. My youngest was allowed to answer the door after about age 10 but I was always close by when he did open it so that I could teach him the correct way to handle the people knocking. What I find especially wrong is him even speaking with the little girl. He should have asked for a parent and stopped right there. He was wrong in my opinion for that.
Does the race of the people have anything to do with the danger? Asking for a friend.
As repo drivers go, you seem to be among the nicest I've seem. Stay safe man.
I don't care where you live,, or how self-important you are,, NEVER let your 9 year old daughter answer the door and tell the stranger, "My daddy ain't home right now." Your are so lucky this was the repo guy and not Hanibal Lechter.

Not sure if what I just watched matched with the description for the video. I never heard the woman say anything that remotely sounded like everyone owed her something.
If this is the worst thing that ever happens to this kid in her childhood, she'll be damn lucky. Thanks for the best laugh of the day, you're funny!
michiganriverman I was raped as a child by a neighbour of an aunt, I had a mother who used a dog lead on me and I still have the scars on my back.
