Conner is such a professional for his age, its no wonder he bounces from Fantasy, Chris Simms & draft stuff for NBC. I esp appreciate how he treats the seasoned viewer, gives his opinion quickly but also understands we know football. Cheers
connors been doin it for a sneaky long time (respectfully) he’s a vet
You guys do the lords work.
As a Panthers fan, I needed this video 😅😂
Connor 🐐🐐
Thanks man!!
thank you for respectfully not calling me old@@charterrr
Deepest WR class in the last decade
maybe ever?
I think you’ll keep seeing these type classes.
@@JJ-zr6funah this class is crazy
@@JJ-zr6fuwe’ll see deep draft classes but not many with 3 top 10 picks
Glad Troy Franklin is finally getting the respect he deserves! He’s consistently been a top guy in college football and only now am I really hearing stirs of him being in the 1st round! Let’s gooooo
Couldn’t wait for the WR rankings and really enjoyed today’s pod! Great work gentlemen
I love a football analysis appearance 🤣, love your work bro
@@valonarious5399❤️🫡
I remember last season, trying to tell people about Troy Franklin and how that kid was going to be a stud. It’s awesome a season later seeing him being widely considered as a top 5-7 receiver in a LOADED receiver class
I selfishly hope ge drops to the 50s and goes to Browns, they need WR help, no one real outside of Cooper
Forgot to mention this in the actual show but the JSN line in this class would be somewhere around WR6/7. He would be in the McConkey/Egbuka tier for me
Thanks for clarifying! I hadn't seen this comment when I asked about it. Also, I love how McConkey stayed Wr 7 for you from Summer Scouting up to now.
It seems like because of MHJ no one realizes just how incredible Nabers is going to be.
Oh they do. Nabers, Davis, MHjr, Egbuka, then everyone else IMHO. Nabers might be AJB 2.0. Nobody is sleeping on Nabers. Especially with LSU receivers dominating early in the league.
those guys have crazy rankings. my favorite tape is xavier worthy. .... 13th?
I disagree Nabers been projected in the top 10 and some even in the top 5. And yes MHJ is getting a lot of hype but it’s universally acknowledged that this whole WR class is stacked in general.
Nabers was the the best wideout in college football if you based it on game and not name. Half his catches went for 15yds or more thats insane dude is unblockable. Marv had a great season but nabers was the actual best
So true
I hadn’t seen any of your videos prior to your collab with the bootleg football podcast. I’m really glad that I found you guys through that because your videos are fantastic!
I watch a massive amount of dynasty football podcasts and I’m truly impressed by the content I found here. Liked and subscribed. Keep up the good work!
Favorite NFL podcast. You guys work so well together and back your takes up with football knowledge and stats.
Love to hear it! Thanks for hanging with us
I’m friends with Malachi Corley, such a good dude man. he is gonna be a stud
Same here known him since he was 14 going back to Campbellsville can’t wait for him to put on
YAC monster
Love him and Malik Washington as well
You guys are very knowledgeable and I can always count on very interesting and very informative content. Thanks guys.
Just found this channel yesterday, new favorite channel for sure. i really appreciate the insight!!!
Same! +1
Great job guys of breaking down the wr drafts
great job with the time stamps guys! wouldnt have watched if it didnt have.
Great stuff, you guys are legends
When i watch Odunze, I get Amari Cooper vibes. Big, smooth, athletic and catches everything.
nice one, I still haven't found a comp I like for Odunze. Maybe Andre Johnson?
@@toddbarndollar8033nah I think Andre was a little more physically imposing and also he’s athletically more similar to leggette but with better agility
For what it's worth Odunze has a Punt return for a TD on one of his only attempts he definitely is elusive with the ball in his hands
I still haven’t forgiven you for not giving the Bills Odunze when he was one the board in the last mock. FOR AN EDGE
Odunze so athletic he could play edge, too. That’s on us 😂😂
Great episode, genuinely looking forward to the rest of the Position rankings. Thanks again for all the hard work fellas. You guys have been a content machine this year and we haven’t even really hit “draft season” yet technically. Can’t wait for all the madness to officially kick-off. NFLSE to the MOON!
LFGGGGG. Thank you for watching and being a part of the fam!
I love these videos man. Keep em coming guys!
You keep watchin’ em, we’ll keep makin’ em
These two guys are exceptional. I really appreciate all the insights and dedication to their craft. I always enjoy watching their content. Thanks fellas !
Giving me lots of hope for the Ravens to find a great reciever in the 2nd or 3rd round. Keep it up!
Yes! I’ve been waiting for this episode!
Oh damn, Christmas came early
Man I love these videos!!! The ranking series gets me to the draft. Eagles look so old and slow on defense. I’m already looking at draft simulators to see how we can get them younger 🦅💚
LFG! That’s what the MDS is there for!
Yours are my favorite podcasts/videos and make my day - thanks for your awesome content!
This means a ton. Thank you!!
I loved the video, thanks for doing it. Could cut back on the word "like" ;)
My favourite UA-cam channel. You two = 🐐🐐
Love the content yall fr keep goin 💪🏽
Tier 1: generational
•Marvin Harrison jr
Tier 2: elite
•Malik nabers, Rome odunze, Keone Coleman
Tier 3: very good
•Troy Franklin, Xavier worthy, Adonai Mitchell, emeka egbuka, Ladd mckonkey, Xavier legette
Coleman is definitely not in Tier 2. He doesn’t have elite speed and doesn’t create separation like the rest of the top guys. He’s real off and on. Franklin and Coleman need to be switched.
Coleman is def not elite youre on crack 🤣
Odunze is in tier 2.5
Coleman lol
@@RocKaFella57 Coleman sucks
LFGGGGGG trev, I was waiting for someone to bring up Pearsall. I think dude is going to be an absolute steal. One of the bright spots on our current mess of a gators squad. Dude just makes plays, and I hope he goes to a good team to keep making things happen!!
Go gators baby
This channel, Brett/EJ and Marcus hahe taught me so much.
GREAT WORK!
Anytime I watch this show, it makes me miss the old draft roundtables on the Simms and Lefkoe Show with Matt Miller and Connor
Corley I actually see as a Devin Hester type player. Which, Bears made Hester their WR1, but he was actually a CB. 💯 As a KR/PR this guy is gonna be on Sports center a few times next year. You gotta develop him on the slant, if you do he can be a weapon tho.
Great show. Surprised that you guys are low on AD Mitchell. Over the past few weeks of watching game tapes, I’ve been one very high on him. Top 5 high.
Listened to the whole thing. Love hearing how deep this is WR class is when my Pats are in desperate need. What do you think of the Pats keeping Drake Maye and Tez Walker together with their 1st and 2nd? Watched your whole Pats fix the franchise episode too. Never been so invested in the offseason/draft this early as a Pats fan. Thanks for giving me a liferaft in the sea of misery that is being a Pats fan in 2023.
Would love the Maye-Tez connection in the pros. I really think they were just scratching the surface this season
I will be bs if we waste a second round draft pick on Tez walker he’s another contested catch guy like nkeal, has trouble creating separation on underneath routes
Pats fan here. My preference is Jayden Daniels but would definitely be happy with Maye. For the late 1st/2nd, I’d love to pair Jayden with Brian Thomas Jr. If he’s not available, Troy Franklin or Legette could also be great fits.
how about a obj comp for nabers? Ik you don't want to force the lsu but similar to the AB comp just with more of the size.
Great breakdown
Great stuff boiz
Suspiciously gonna need a 1 hour 47 minute lunch break today. Personal reasons
I am a long time lsu fan BT is a monster I love BT but spot on with Jayden he missed him a lot but there is a catch against Arkansas where Jayden under threw him by 15 yards he kills his route comes back gets the ball and still scores he’s so good
Where do you guys find film to watch???
Trevor will now hold a special place in my heart for that Blades of Glory reference 😂
Knew the right people would hear it 😂
I’m curious as to how many years it will be but there’s not at least one guy they are comping as “Deebo Samuel type”.
This is the fifth year that there’s been at least one guy they called a Deebo Samuel clone , has there ever been anyone else at any position that year of the year there’s a comparison to?
Love the Pearsal shout!
Didn't Christian Watson have a top 5 contested catch rate last season? He seems like a great comp for Franklin
Got a question, as someone who has only really paid attention to the draft in the last two years (because of this pod), is it fair to say that Marvin Harrison Jr. is on the the same level as a WR prospect as Jalen Carter was as an IDL prospect pre combine? Trevor Lawrence as a QB? Trying to gauge the level of hype here. Thanks!
the smirk from Connor when Trevor said Dowell Loggins, Jets challenge flag holder legend.
Wow this guy knows what he’s talking about, my boy spitting straight knowledge , very informative and you can tell he did his research. Great video bud agree 💯 one thing you forgot to mention is fields footwork can get sloppy in short throws also. JF1 is a franchise qb i wish he would’ve worked out for my bears 😢
I always appreciate a receiver like Keenan Allen. I would rather have a WR avg. 8cths 80yds a game rather than 4cths 75yds because he is moving the chains and getting 1st downs.Keon Coleman flashes highlight reel catches but don't see the down to down consistency.Malik Nabers takes know back seat to no one including Marvin Harrison Jr.He is a YAC monster.
I think the combine can do wonders for Egbuka. If he runs a low 4.3 and performs really well, he can probably push his stock up into the 2nd half of the 1st round. He was a 5 star recruit so he can most likely put on a show with his athleticism
I think when the draft process starts NFL teams will have him as the 4th best receiver. Some will have him as the second or third too. I can see him going to Texans in the first and being a real problem. He's one of the most NFL ready. We know how OSU receivers do in the league. I really think he goes first round.
Low 4.3? Is he supposed to have that kind of speed? I don't see that on tape at all tbh
Egbuka looks like he runs 4.5
@@dark8prince201 That's what I see and I won't be shocked if he's even slower
He's not a 4.3 guy. I see 4.8-5.2.
When will the pff mocks board be updated
Haven't watched Corley but the way you guys talk about him seems like he can be a Devin Duvernay type of player
Objectively, I would not be surprised at any of these dudes emerging as the best receiver from this class in 5 years. A lot of it will depend on the team, organization, offense, coaching, QB, personal development, usage, etc.
Where do you guys think some of these guys compare to a jsn or Addison type? Would you have all the top 3 above Addison if they were in last years class?
What a great year to have 4 1st rd picks 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Wide receiver class is insane this year
Marvin harrison next julio malik nabers next AB?
Is Malik going to get drafted to the Celtics like Avery Bradley
@@deanlegend99I like Harrison as a Ocho Sinco comp
I took a drink every time you said nuisanced. Mighht hve mmde a ms.iatake... jokes aside really enjoyed the video!
I can’t find separation numbers anywhere on PFF even with a subscription, is that something we can look at?
Johnny Wilson like Megatron you fix his hands. I see Odell Beckham Jr in Coleman alot. Rome I see T.O. Harrison Idk. Something new.
No way. Odell is a route master. Coleman isn’t that. I see some tee higgens in Coleman.
GREAT JOB AS ALWAYS. Love the third tier of WRs and I have them Brian Thomas Jr, Tez Walker then Troy Franklin. All three would be great in KC!!!
Tez walker has bricks for hands and cant run routes lmao
He was great at Kent state, did alright at UNC with all he had to deal with. Had a terrible senior bowl but he’s fine.
Adonai Mitchell has grown on me in the last month. Won’t mind him in KC. Ahead of all but Brian Thomas Jr
Emeka Egbuka to the Rams would be an awesome team fit. Imagine him with Kupp and Puka
Most savvy 11 personnel in the league
FYI, i saw this draft coming a year ago so i traded to get a extra first round pick in 2024 dynasty draft. Now with 2 first rounders i have to see who i can get. Even using a pick to get brock bowers is possible
I'm curious about Anias Smith. I've not seen much from him, but the bit I have seen has been very surprising
I have a question for you guys that I'm really curious about. If Missouri WR Luther Burden III was eligible to enter the draft this year where would he rank in this WR class and where do you think he would go in the draft?
I haven’t sat down to really study Burden, but he’s awesome. Feels like he’d be easy top 5. Moves at a different speed, kind of like Nabers
Trevor is the man
Great stuff, you guys are entertaining and speak very well. The only thing I didnt like about this was the reading of the blurbs. It just seems kind of tacky and unecessary. You guys do a great job discussing the players as is. I can just read blurbs if I want to.
Please do commanders for fix your franchise. New front office and coaching staff coming soon, 2 second and 2 third round picks, stick with howell or draft a qb? Should be interesting
its a great wrs class this year. last year my top guy was zay flowers. this year i have xavier worthy my no.1. kind of shocked that he is ranked so low for them. ... and no ricky pearsall...
damn one of the greatest WR classes texans for troy franklin or Brian thomas JR
same here texans fan hope we get a good WR, either trade up early 2nd round or just use the first pick. Deep class
@@bobbythorton7693 knowing caserio they definitely trading up somewhere in the 1-2 round
Watched this episode late, but Trevor and Connor, I'm interested to hear if you'd like the idea of converting Johnny Wilson to TE in the NFL a la Darren Waller? Reaching prime Darren Waller's level is definitely a tall task for any college prospect, but does he have the combination of size, athleticism, and route running to be that? Or with Wilson's hands (or lack thereof), maybe he's a taller Evan Engram? And Engram is still considered an above average -- potentially top ten -- TE at the NFL level.
how LSU uses malik nabers and brian thomas weirdly reminds me how the bengals use jamarr and tee huggins (respectively)
2 hours of the boys talkin' feet 'n hips lets gooo
When it comes to the draft, I think Jalen McMillan is a top 15 WR in this draft class. He was injured all year but I would take him over Polk.
Troy Franklin to KC baby. Dude is special. Favorite WR in this draft🔥🔥
Would immediately be a 1k receiver
@@TampaBayTre Absolutely 🤩🤩
Adonai Mitchell’s gonna go crazy 🔥🔥
I really wanna see a Bears fix your franchise. With 4 games left, at that point when you post the video, 3, I think I would love to hear your takes of keeping Justin Fields or drafting Caleb Williams, whether to take Marvin Harrison Jr, who you'd want to take at 5 or 6, and who you'd replace their HC/OC with. Love the show!!
In mocks, the PFF crew seeks dead-set on the Bears sticking at #1 to draft Caleb Williams or MHJ.
They have to draft an QB at first overall. Just from an contract stand point.
Yea man a new HC is NOT hitching his wagon to Fields. That would be his THIRD head coach. NOT HAPPENING! Lets say in a crazy world, it does, then theres still ZERO chance the bears keep the 1st pick. They will trade it for a massive haul again! NE is taking a QB because they dont have one. MHJ IS AN AZ CARDINAL! Write it in pen now!!
@@adrianbuck8772no we don't have to It is better to trade out and stock blue chips around Fields...
@@deancorso4212 To be forced to hand out an 40+ Millionen APY Deal because he got them the Playoffs without being actually good (like Daniel Jones)?
The timeline just doesnt fit.
Wish you would have spent more time on troy Franklin and Brian Thomas. I think those two will be in the Chiefs range and could be the next weapon for them
Thoughts on Tre Harris from Ole Miss??
Sorry boys but I have a feeling Colorado State’s Tory Horton is going to be special in the NFL. I get Colorado isn’t a good college team, but that game against them and his performance is still seared into my mind.
I love his mentality. Super strong hands, too. No doubt he could succeed if he gets the targets
That Hodor line killed me!
Maybe I missed it, but where would JSN fall in this class? I didn't hear it mentioned so maybe I missed it...
Trevor said WR6/7 would be the line
When the Best Yac WR is 14th and it's hard to argue they should be higher 😅😅😅💯🤷🏻 This class is Insane at WR.
When are we getting single coverage metrics in PFF Premium
Haven’t watched the video but neighbors is an elite wr prospect that would be in the top 5 wr prospects In the past couple years
thoughts on odell as a comp for nabers? such a sudden and explosive athlete
Personally I see Troy Franklin as a more Odell/jettas comparison.
Great Episode boys! When I heard you guys talk about Nabers last year I just thought to myself this guy just might be another LSU over hyped prospect. Perhaps Boutte clouded my perspective. But when I watched his tape this year… Holy Crap! I mean, I never seen a guy get open as consistently and easily so often. He puts DB’s on roller skates.
As a Bears fan, everyone wants to say MHJ or bust, and I agree he is amazing. But if they trade for a haul and we can still draft Nabers, that is literally the ideal scenario. He reminds me of CeeDee Lamb but faster. Opposite DJ and against single coverage he would roast most teams second corners. And can take that slant or quick out to the house with a missed tackle. Absolutely one of my favourite players in this draft. If not for MHJ he would be talked about more. No brainer top 6-7 pick this year.
lol dude. another overhyped LSU prospect? Chase and Jefferson just came out.
@@TheMrbreezy93 No, they hyped Boutte to be like them. When Nabers was the guy
The way y’all describe Keon Coleman reminds me so much of chase Claypool
Tahj Washington is someone you guys should look at, definitely USC’s best receiver this year. Balled out in the bowl game.
What I don't understand is the fact that you've got Brian Thomas and Troy Franklin as basically interchangeable when Franklin has a 13-point better receiving grade and a 12-point better overall grade??
It is probably just the long arms, but Troy Franklin reminds me of Aiyuk.
🚨🚨 almost two hours WOAH
As a Bears fan. I would love the idea of MHJ but if we had to trade back for a Haul. I’d be on with Nabors as well. A second DJ Moore? Sign me up.
Trevor my boi, good call on Ladd, bad comp tho, looks like a taller Welker.
Wonder where they had Nacua and Tank Dell ranked
12 percentile for Keon Coleman is very scary considering he’s playing in the ACC. Also, I don’t know why you’re confident that Xavier Leggette could never be a #1. I understand he could easily be a bust but to say that dude at 6’3 227 pounds couldn’t be a 1 is silly. The only time a great college player is not likely to be number one is when he’s under 5’11, under 160 or he runs in 4.6’s
I’m not sure Nabers is behind MHJ. I understand MHJ can be a tier one player, but so can Nabers. He’s an Antonio Brown comp for a reason. I think he’s somewhat similar to Justin Jefferson
Odunze has Hopkins potential... physical WR, decent route running but gets open and make tough catches... not a crazy YAC guy but consistent when u need him
