Sad that I pay thousand of pounds for an 'education' only to be let down by crappy lecturers, lathargic professors, and generally unhelpful staff. Yet, I can learn from a guy with a passion for his subject, who actually makes things simple to understand, but he's thousands of miles away. Platforms like YT really are the future of education, thank you to everyone behind this channel, you're saving a lot of people.
You're tree videos, particularly Red/Black trees, were the only resource I could find that made remotely any sense. Super informative, and I will be pointing several of my classmates in my data structures course to your channel. Thank you so much for putting these online!
you are superb, brilliant I am just running out of words, you have cleared my concept like anything about rotation, I wish ,one day I get a chance to do my masters in San Diego State University, but it looks like a distant dream :(
holy crap, this guy is not only a genius explaining complex subjects but this video is just worth watching for his skills on writting backwards on a glass. Incredible!!!
@@sonamSelects it looks like hes just writing on a glass wall and if we can read it correctly on the other side of it then that means it appears backwards on his side, so either theres some weird editing going on or hes mastered backwards writing
I would say the parent has to do the work. The grandparent becomes the second child of the parent after a right rotation. Twice the responsibility the parent had before the rotation.

I use these videos to study for my in school classes... I do like the structure of being in a class. Would be nice to have him as a teacher though.
Errrm true true but keep in mind the students here have him as a professor. There is a difference in universities.

The most impressive part of this video is the fact that he can write backwards lol

The thumbnail picture is showing Dr. Edwards in the process of drawing a ❤️ symbol.

His mind is impressive
Thank you
Love this
6:12 haha
I worry about the mental state of the 2 persons who disliked this video!
Hm, I'm fine with 3 nodes. The problem starts if there's subtrees.
There shouldn't be. You just do whatever you're doing (rotations) with these three nodes and they carry over their children nodes.
@@twisted_cpp Ha, too late ;) That's what I figured eventually. Exam taken and passed. Cheers
@@stephangoldenberg9163 Good job mate. Cheers
there are other rotations apart from just Left, right. There is also Left right(LR) and right left(RL) rotations
