He was more so a beta plus psyker, next step above alpha plus. But with malcador and Magnus being placed at the highest end of alpha plus and the emperor being superior to them, he’s clearly above.

I don't think that The Emperor crafted Worldbreaker, I think it's more likely that he crafted the Talons and that they were used as a pair with the Talons that The Emperor continued to use after giving Horus (and by extension making him) His Right Hand. Also adds to why they're so powerful 10k years later and how they were able to smash Worldbreaker do the damage they did to Sanguinious (Whose armour I believe to have been made with Auramite, like the Custodes and His father) and The Emperor (Who we know wore Auramite) before hand.
The lore is a bit murky when it comes to the Talon and Worldbreaker, some sources say that the Emperor created Worldbreaker for Horus after he became Warmaster, others say he had it well into the Great Crusade before he became Warmaster. As for the Talon, according to Horus in a few books he found it on Cthonia when he was "a callow youth", although I absolutely love your take on it. The idea that he gave Horus one of the Talons after meeting him just makes so much more sense in the lore, especially as you said, the Talon Horus wore broke Worldbreaker. I don't know, but I prefer your version of events.

I'd like to say that as far as the concept of bolters go they're effectively a super amped up version of an existing(but dead) technology we already have called "Gyrojets" which are just an extremely primitive form of the bolter. So yeah definitely an old concept in 40k lol! The primary difference between them functionally is that bolters have a conventional powder load as well to offset the primary weakness of the gyrojets which is their extremely low initial velocity. As they're small rockets they take a certain distance to get to a velocity that is sufficient to penetrate soft targets. I see gyrojet tech as an example of wasted potential.
I think the Emperor's sword only "failed" to true-kill Mortarion as the Emperor doesn't actually want to kill his fallen sons aside from as a true last resort - and it is assuredly powered by at least the echo of his psychic soul, if not a direct conduit to it
I agree totally, also if primarchs are warp gods in gene coded meat suits then it may stand ro reading it would take more power to perma kill them then a daemon. That's why only the emperor could permanently kill primarchs
By the way the Blood Raven chapter seems have a Bolter named "Emperor's hand" or something in their arsenal which, maybe not out of realms of possibility that it was the Emperor's Bolter... I mean, it's Blood Raven...
A lot of weird stuff in this video. To my knowledge the Titansword was never confirmed to be a creation of the Emperor. Also, the Titansword has already been broken and reforged in the warp by Kaldor Draigo.
So the game design team have stated they think it's cool for returning Primarchs to get one of the Emperor's weapons. It will be cool to see what the other remaining loyalists end up with.
Pretty sure the spear lore is changed. We obviously haven't seen Valdor yet, since he left. But since it hasn't been mentioned since Valdor stared at it in his chambers at the end of the Horus Heresy, it seems like it will be integral to his story as...well if you know, you know.

He ran a Custode through with it after it assumed the shape of a sword if that’s what you mean.
It more or less is just a demon in the form of a sword, albeit he may have trapped it in that form

I thought the stuff he had from the Dark Age of Technology would look sleek and advanced instead of the stuff crafted later on when the tech is lost.
