I don't really spring clean my house. I do an end of summer/back to school reset. I put outside summer stuff away and get the house cleaned and ready to be "closed up" for the winter.

Slowly doing this to my entire home also!
So far I’ve gone through our laundry room, our downstairs closet, our bathroom cabinets & drawers, my kids’ clothes/toys, our entire pantry and my clothes!
I have the veterans coming tmrw !! They’re picking up about 8 bags! I do this every few months ! Feels amazing !!!🙌🏻💪🏻💕

For Will when grilling… they make a light that attaches to your grill for night time grilling. It works great! Pretty sure they sell them on Amazon.

You should try lazy Susan’s for the baking cabinet for Karo and oils and then some tall skinny oxo for the powders! Also, I use the two tiered lazy Susan’s for my spices so I can see all the labels at once! Loved the video!!

Lauren, do you use your oven drawer for anything? I use it to store cookware in. Generally it’s used as a warming drawer to keep cooked food warm. I have never used it for that. 🌼 All the areas in your home looks great! Good job! 🌼

I would do the decluttering film it and then also do the decluttering tour you were talking about
I find it interesting that so many people decant items to make their pantry and cabinets and spice racks aesthetically pleasing. However, then do you know when those items expire? Generally, spices don’t expire. They may lose most of their flavor, potency or color, but won’t make you sick. Also with vinegar, the acidic nature of vinegar makes it a self-preserving pantry staple, which means it generally never sours or expires. Just FYI 😊

Hello Lauren, I have started to declutter to but I’m donating things I can’t use. The big round jar you threw away would be good to store your powdered sugar, and the soap up dish from Grove would have been a keeper. If I can’t use it I at least donate it. I always keep a box handy or a bag. Hope you have a blessed week 🥰♥️🌷
I donate things that are worth having. Those were both chipped or broken. I hate giving junk to other people. It makes me feel bad. :-)

Great job! I also vote for Oliver's room and the office. The glass jar with the black label that you put into the trash should have been saved or at least donated. Noticed a few things like that. Please think about the environment and recycle! So many cardboard boxes and cans went into the garbage. Think about emptying the contents into the trash/canned contents to the garbage disposal and recycling the rest.

Soak dishes with red sauce stains in dish soap and baking soda over night. Stains are gone.
