You ever get pulled over? I’m about to get 50 on my windshield this weekend but I’m getting nervous and might switch to 70. I just don’t want to ever get pulled over.
@@rikkidiesel i went 20 and its awesome. See out fine but blackout from the outside even in direct sunlight. If the sun is coming in right all u can see is the dash. At night u can see fine. Only problem is I gotta use brights on unlit roads. When its raining at night its hard to see but thats it.
I just did 5% on my single cab and added a 20% to the windshield. Made it difficult to see at night but no problem since it's rare when I drive it at night. By the way did all tint myself and saved money 👍
I had 40% ceramic from Llumar and it was the perfect shade. Privacy when the sides are up, borderline clear when the side windows are down if there's a cop driving on the opposite of the road. I enjoyed 40 I might go 35 or 30 since 30 is available in ceramic
@Phillip Puffenbarger I literally just came back from the window shop. I had 20% on the windshield put in yesterday morning. Its definitely looked great. Drove great during the day. But at Night it was TERRIBLE. at least for me. I had to change it to 50% this morning. I was torn but I had to be safe. Money was crazy. But I work to make it up.

My windshield is tinted with 50% it's no big deal lol... it just helps with the glare during the day the good thing about being a tinter is that i do my stuff for free hehe...

I drop my car off this Saturday. My car’s interior isn’t really dark (my seats are a lighter grey color) but some of the cars at the shop that had 50% windshield tint looked a bit darker.
I have %20 all around on bare glass and %40 percent on the windshield. It's dark enough and you get full coverage. Hope I don't run into any trouble with the law.
Windshields come partially tinted from factory. With %40 tint, it evens out to about %35. I really hope I don't run into any trouble. I have a 2009 Lexus ES350
No they took it all off then applied the whole windshield then the sun strip again. I have seen it over the existing sun strip but it doesn't look as good

Question when you get a window tint ticket or a windshield tint ticket or both of them. Do you have to remove it? From the video it looks like he was making you remove it but from what I saw on google is that they will give you a fix it ticket to either fix it an not have to pay the citation which is 25$ I believe for dark tint Or getting it removed An not having to pay the fine.I’d prefer just keeping it on An paying for that 25$ is that how it works?
Well it depends on the state and cop on how much it is but here in idaho i think its a fix a ticket If I remember right. The cop will give u the ticket which it can be from like $75 or more idk its been years since I got a ticket. But then u can either just pay the ticket and keep your tint or u remove and a cop will come out to your car and make sure u took it off at the courthouse and u won't have to pay it.
If it were me I would do at this moment I would do 35% but nothing lower. I like my 50% but after having it for so long I would like to go darker. But 50% is perfect for the darkness and cops don't notice it
@@douglascabinatan6042 u can see through from the inside good and u can make that a person is inside from the outside but couldn't tell any details. 35% is darker and if u don't want to have someone see you inside then get that or darker
I have triple five all round I think all I need it 50% on the shield to not see. People already can’t see the front seat of it’s not in direct sunlight so that should be good

Yes with the side windows down u can clearly see me through the windshield. But when I get my windshield done I'm going to do 35%

50% looks really good, I suggest it for all of my customers. I also have it on our main vehicles and even our Motorhome. Very nice bro.

I can wear polarized sunglasses with my tinted shield. But 50 is perfect because it gives you shade as heat reduction but can still see good at night

No I haven't had any issues with cops but you can tell at night its a little darker. So as long as u got hids or led headlights your good

Yes in certain light u can't really see in but in others u can barley see who's driving but 50% won't attract attention as much as 35% or darker would

Lol it actually got darker as time has gone by. It looks perfect and you can see the pillars and barely the dash and I can still see fine at night

If u want darkness and heat then do 50% if u just want heat then 70%. Also you lay the whole tint on the windshield then they put the sun strip on

The strip is just a single 5 over the 50 windshield so it makes it like a 2% now going to go 35% sometimes later and still put a 5% strip over that
