Nice to see its guts, very modern design there. The big lump on the back is explained now with the capacitors, explains a lot. It's such an EMI resistant design.

Thank you, dear friend! You have done a serious job. Did you take a photo of the board? Maybe I can ask you for a photo of the board in high resolution?

Nice one Woody. Thanks for that. You have always had my back in regards to your mods from back in the earlier days. Despite back then the flack you got from the Minelab disciples. It is people like you that give us electronic prospectors a glimmer of hope & willing to be adventurous that there are better improvements that can be made to existing detectors. You have proved that is the case & I know first hand from getting some of your products & do in fact have a modded 4500 done by you that upped my game. X coils too came to our rescue which in the end, despite the hornets nest that stirred up, has benefited the detecting community. Maybe not so much for ML but great to see a new kid on the block taking them to task.
All the best of luck out there.
    kiwijw John Wilson 🙂

I know the target ID works well on small gold up to a few grams that I’ve tested, but I have no bigger bits to test on at the min, 33 interesting, can’t wait to see this video later wen u put it up, thanks 👍

When you go to test the device in the field, I hope to try it on large targets such as a can of tuna or more, in order to pair it with the gpx5000 device at depth.

It is a small gold detector but I have a feeling that it will work well with larger coils.

Hey Woody - my biggest negative when I got mine was the crappy cheap 3.5mm Audio Jack - so you think a 6.35mm {1/4in} Jack fit below those blue Caps - that jack on it lost tension after trying to set up my wireless gear - quite annoyed they went El cheap there 🤔

Everything is made for a price , it’s very difficult to find good connectors, China ones are no good.

@@DetectorMods the 1/4in Jacks in my PhaseTech SP01 booster are excellent and arnt that big I rememve when I replaced battery - thanks - where would I get a decent 1/4in Female audio jack?

@@melbournesubtropicfruits9474 We get our jacks from Mouser in the US, do not buy Chinese as they fail.

@@peterwoodland446 @peterwoodland446 I found a Mouser Electronics in Notting Hill - close to me - i think there's just enough room behind Algo caps to fit a 1/4in - i need 36mm of space 🙄
