I actually have the 120 Star-Joy Gold Colored Pencils and they seem to work better than the Master's Touch Colored Pencils because they layer better on markers
Faber Castell black edition also ranks up there - 36 for $32
At $~1 per pencil, there are a lot more I’d like to add to this list! FC black edition are great pencils.

You know I’ve actually got Crayola colored pencils to blend pretty good. The trick is to tilt it on its side and lightly color in what you want then take your next color and do the same. It blends not that badly.

I got the Brutfuner 180 set, and they are really great… Definitely worth it, blend almost as good as my Prismacolors

Doms products are actually good! Their coloured pencils and wax crayons are good for doodling sketching

For real, I have Brutfunder as well as Marco Renoir and Marco Raffine, and while Renoir are excellence and blend really well, Brutfunder are quite good too, yet cost like much cheaper!

Yeah! I'd love to see how to compile a beginner's kit. Like a school supply list haha. Not necessarily brands, but suggestions for what ones to start with would be great too.

I'll have to try the Star Joy. Do you prefer Arteza or Arrtx? I have the Arrtx, but wasn't sure if the Arteza compared.
Both are VERY similar. But I prefer Arrtx slightly. I have another video comparing them side by side
Arteza has an "expert" line of wax based pencils now. They have a 4mm core, have light fastness ratings, and sell replacement pencils. They often have coupons that can bring a set of 72 close to around $30. The next step up would be Blick's house brand of pencils. There needs to be a shootout between these two imo.

I desperately want to get into coloring, but I am from India and most of these brands are not available here. DOMS is available, but they only have 24 shades max, and I would like to start with 48. Any suggestions?
I use the Palicans ... they are great for cheap priced

Black widow is my pick for budget pencils. I do like all the others you listed as well tho. Esp the square bruts.
Black Widow end up much pricier than the brands listed here, which is why I didn’t include them. But they are a very nice pencil!

doms colors in India are less than 10-15 dollars it's around 5 dollars or less and they are the best colored pencils in India they blend well and bright colors
starJoyGold are the pencils created by a girl here on UA-cam who also collect pencils and wanted to try to make the perfect one. She put a lotta fucking work in to it so I’m glad that you think it’s good because that’s like to seal of approval for me

Star joy are not under $30 here in Australia... they are at the lowest double that or over $100 ... I think this short wasn't for the Australian market.... I'm not meaning this in a rude way ... but nothing is cheap here really....😢

Sarah is fantastic ...I love her channel,but here downunder we don't have access to some of these products at the $30 and under range.. we do however have other brands that are cheap and work perfectly. 🙂🙂
